Birkenstock Granada - Great sandals, very comfortable, one of my favorite styles of Birkenstocks

Good after break-in - I have bought these to replace the flip flops I wear around the house which apparently do not help with my hyper-pronation and knee issues. The Birkenstocks are definitely a step in the right direction in that sense. It is useful that the straps are adjustable. However, despite offering good feet support, these shoes are hard and the edges of the nubuck straps cut into my feet a little bit. Following other users' advice, I ordered narrow (I normally wear regular width) and size 7.5 (I normally wear size 8). I cannot say these are my favorites and/or the most comfortable footwear I ever owned, but they served my immediate purpose.

Still trying to break them in! I am new to Birkenstocks--The only "sandal" I am allowed after recent foot surgery. Sizing on this style seems noticeably larger than a pair of the same size in a slightly different style I have. The sole is extremely rigid--feels like walking barefoot on tile. Uppers are stiff, but gradually softening. Needed to wear socks to break them in, because barefoot, they were giving me blisters. Overall, I am a bit disappointed because I know lots of people who just love Birkenstocks. Hopefully, they will get better as I wear them!

Dressier sandal - Love the look of this sandal, and it is comfortable immediately which is true of all Birkenstock shoes I have worn. The leather upper does not come up as high toward the ankle as most Birkenstock sandals do, so I felt like I had to grip more with my toes to keep the sandal on. I didn't particularly like this, but the shoe is comfortable and I like the look. I've had multiple compliments of its looks.

Very cute Birk! I have never purchased Birkenstock footwear before this pair. I absolutely LOVE the look and they felt wonderful on my foot. Here's the but...After walking alot in this sandal, the buckle on the instep causes a major pressure pain. I could not keep this shoe. I have NEVER had a high instep problem so I am disappointed.

I've been wearing birks for years and this is my first pair of soft footbed, and I have to say I'm not a fan. I prefer the original footbed, but was unable to find this style in black regular width. It seems the gripping action particularly around the toe bar area is diminished due to all the padding, and my feet slide around too much. The oiled leather also rubbed and irritated the tops of my feet. It seems it is taking a long time to break them in, but I'm hoping eventually both of these issues will get better. They are way cuter/more feminine than the Arizonas. I tried the Gizeh and they were too narrow, width of these were perfect for my wide feet.

These look great. Unfortunately, I cannot tell whether I like these or not because they are so huge. I should have followed some of the other reviewers' suggestions and ordered a smaller size. I am US size 8 and ordered UK size 39. I plan to return them for the smaller size.

I have worn this style in the past & loved them but the leather was very stiff & not comfortable. Also the color is a horrible dark brown. The older model was a soft brn. I did return them. I would reorder them again if they came in a different color.
