This shoe has been my go to shoe since i was 14 years old and I am 44 yrs old. It was a nice solid classy shoe that could be worn with jeans, shorts and went with every day to day outfit now it's just junk plastic. The leather was so soft and molded perfectly to my foot, I never felt sweaty or constricted in them. I am sad to find they are no longer leather and the construction quality has deteriorated so drastically. I recently went to purchase another pair online and have found so many negative reviews that I too am looking for a replacement shoe provider. Why would you mess with a product that has been a solid staple in women's wardrobe for generations? This is a classic shoe for classic styles, good luck keeping up in the competitive marketing for trendy shoes. Helpful information gathered from the reviews I have read, a good many of us would pay more to have 'our' shoe returned to original styling and quality materials. Bring back the REAL Princess please!

Bought two pairs over a year ago, but returned them. Despite being advertised as "leather uppers", they are in fact man-made uppers, and are not soft or comfortable and don't have the appearance of leather. But I notice that Reebok still have not changed the description of the Princess shoe. They are still being advertised as soft leather uppers, which they know is untrue.

I have worn this style for years. The last pair I ordered online because I could not find locally at all. I had to be on a waiting list and was sooo excited when they arrived, but it was shortlived. They are too tight, hurt my toes, seem shorter (my old ones fit better), and the arch seems to have changed. I have tried wearing them anyway, thinking maybe I just needed to break them in a little as they always were a bit snug at first but eventually stretched (typical of leather). These are clearly not leather. I tried on shoes in December when a local store got some in, and was horrified that I could not even FIT into the next size up!!!! (I am a 6-1/2, and kept trying sizes--an 8 kept my toes from hitting the end, but the arch was WAAAY wrong in that size.) WHAT HAS REEBOK DONE??????
The sad part is, this is the only shoe I could wear that helped me not have back and hip pain. I am lost and devastated and soooooo tired of hurting. Reebok has lost my business entirely. I am not a neon shoe wearer--doesn't work in my work environment at all. I have to have white or black professional-looking shoes.

I have been wearing the Princess for decades, In the past 2 months I bought new ones at 2 different well known stores and returned both pairs. After wearing them for a week in my house, the usual snug fit did not loosen up and start molding to my feet. as the old pairs did. My toes felt cramped in the toe box area and there is no arch support. Then my knees began to ache after wearing them. I went online today to see if other women were having problems or was it just me.. Much to my disgust I found out that they are synthetic. I love to walk and now after all these decades I have to find another shoe., I am disgusted!!!

As another reviewer wrote, the Princess has changed dramatically. The Reebok Princess was a shoe that I have worn since the 1980's. I loved them so much that when I hit a sale or a great deal on eBay, I would purchase them and stockpile them in my closet, waiting for the eventual demotion of my current pair to "garden shoes." The new materials are simply awful. The leather is no longer leather, and it does not mold to one's foot. The terry is synthetic, and to be blunt, one's feet now stink after being in a pair of these shoes for any amount of time. I am disturbed by the failure of Reebok to make its style and material changes known. This shouldn't even be called a Princess. I used to purchase Princess Supremes, which gave you color choices for the terry lining. I've had red, navy, white, and lavender. Where are all those Reeboks now? Cluttering up a landfill. My most recent pair went there with nary a scuff on them. I couldn't donate them because after only one wearing, the stench was unpleasant (I am a barefoot shoe wearer). It was a very very good run. I am sorry that Reebok has chosen to go cheap (not to be confused with inexpensive). I am done, and I am sad.
I'd also recommend:
Nothing compares to this shoe. New Balance & Brooks are new choices due to materials.

I agree with LYNND. The quality is bad! No leather upper and no terry cloth lining. They were so stiff that it sounded like I broke them when I bent the soles. I wore them on vacation and they were so uncomfortable I was miserable but can't return them since I wore them. Total waste of money!

I have worn Reebok Princess shoes for years and bought this pair to replace a pair that was worn out. I was SO disappointed to see that Reebok is now making this style out of cheap looking plastic that in no way resemble the old shoes. I guess I should have read the fine print, as I just assumed they would be leather. The originals were made in in a certain place out of leather. These are made somewhere else and are made from plastic. Shame on Reebok. They are going back today!

This is a very nice shoe. However, it is sized wrong for the American foot. The 7M I am returning fits like a 6N. I hope this problem can be fixed.

I agree with other customers that Reebok has ruined a really good shoe by substituting man-made material for leather. I sent back the 2 pairs that I ordered and will look for another shoe.

These were my go to sneaks for years...and then they changed. I even ordered a W which I do not need and they do not fit. Too bad.

This shoe has definitely changed. For years I purchased them because they were so comfortable. I am sad to say that they do not feel the same at all. In the past, I could wear them and walk for three miles without even breaking them in...sadly that is not the case anymore. I have to look for another shoe.

What a disappointment. I used to buy Reeboks exclusively 10 years ago, but the pair I got today were horrible. The sole did not flex at all. It was like walking on a board. They were poorly made and had very little arch support. Although they fit, they were not comfortable at all. How the mighty have fallen.

Narrow shoe -
Appearance was fine for this type of shoe, but it was much too narrow across the toes.

WIDTH -
I have bunions and ordered these shoes specifically because they did not have stitching and seams in the front and because they came in a wide width. I was very disappointed to find that the toe box still has the "women's" tapered toe. I have to continue my search for a shoe with a wide toe box.
