I saw that a lot of people said this shoe runs large but I didn\'t find that to be the case for me. I have slightly wide feet and these shoes felt a bit tight on the sides but other than that, these shoes are comfy and very stylish. They look great with jeans and khakis.

Definitely run a bit large. I\'m usually an 11 but these fit well in 10.5. Not particularly supportive but still comfortable nonetheless. Highly recommended.

Got a pair in sand suede. They get a lot of compliments. Be aware that these run big, for me almost a whole size. Very versatile shoe overall, probably my favorite shoes right now.

I'd never ordered shoes online, so I was a little worried they wouldn't fit. They didn't fit, but it was not a problem at all. I simply mailed them back and got the right size, no extra costs, and with next day shipping. The shoes are great, so comfortable and are really aging well. One thing I would advise is that the color is not really identical to the websites image on some of these shoes, my pair is a lot lighter in color than what I thought it was going to be, but I am not unsatisfied at all by the pair or Zappo's service.

Fits a half size large. Tried my normal 10.5 had to go down to 10 in the Desert Boot. The 10 is still a little loose in the heel and may be a little wide over all. Hard for me to say since my foot is on the cusp of a normal and wide. \r\n\r\nVery comfortable and great looking boot.\r\n\r\n

The Clarks Desert Boot is a very comfortable, durable shoe. I have 2 pairs and am thinking about getting more just for fun. The customer service and fast shipping from Zappos.com is great. They should absolutely be the first choice for anyone wanting to order shoes. I am completely pleased with their service and products.

With a great many desert boots available you just still can't beat the classic Clarks suede Desert Boot. I've always found Clarks to be one of the best fitting, true to size brands available. This great looking boot is perfect with your favorite jeans or khakis. To church, out to a restaurant or where ever. Not to dressy not to casual. I will never be without a pair of Clarks Desert Boots.

I ordered these boots with the intention of wearing them for all occasions, work and casual. At my job I am on my feet walking over three miles per day. I needed something to fit the business casual dress code as well as fit my comfort needs. I have been wearing these now every day at work for the past three weeks and they have been exceptional. The style is simple and timeless. I did purchase insoles to give me more arch support. The only negatives, if you can call them negatives, are that the Beeswax leather does scuff extremely easy. So if you are looking to keep your boots in pristine condition, I would go with another fabric. The scuffs, I feel, give the boot some great character and within a few weeks they look like they have had a very useful life. The other negative is that the bottom of the boots are extremely slippery when wet, due to the lack of traction. Overall, I am very pleased with the product.

Classic shoe, looks great. I constantly get complimented on it. A little tough at first, but breaks in after a few wears. It almost feels like you're not wearing a shoe once it's broken in.

The most comfortable boot I've owned. I have normal feet that widen out dramatically at the ball of the foot which makes finding nice shoes difficult. These shoes fit perfectly. The perfect width the full length of the shoe. And they are just awesome.

I was introduce to Clarks by my peers back in Jamaica, needless to say I could not afford it at that time-- now that I'm older and I can purchase I did... It's not really comfy for long periods of standing, but it lays on your feet like a glove-- not to mention how good it looks with just about any wardrobe. I must own 8 pairs of Clarks and I keep coming back for more. Great for not looking to dressed up at the clubs or dinner, but classy. Please buy half or one size smaller, it last longer and doesn't stretch out that way-- break it in though. And it's so quiet...

Clarks Desert Boot - I wore these boots along with Weejuns throughout college and they were my only shoe for 2 years in the Peace Corps. Just as I remembered and a great true to size fit. Great service! Arrived 30 hours after I placed my order. You will be my shoe store from now on!

Clarks Desert Boot in Oily Leather - About Time! I love the classic Clarks Desert Boot, but was disappointed that they discontinued it in beeswax leather. But now it's out in 'oily leather', and is just as good. Butter soft uppers, and so comfortable. And best of all, Clarks had the good sense not to mess with a good thing! A Clarks desert boot bought now probably looks the same as one bought 20 years ago. Good job Clarks!

Modtastic! A classic shoe in a world full of questionable footwear. You can not get anymore classic. In one word...classic. A classical classy classic with an emphasis on classicosity. P.S. People with wide feet should get ready for a break-in period. Classic.

Comfortable - The shoe is very comfortable. I own a lot of shoes and I have been wearing these quite a bit.

Clarks are the best - I could have used some care instructions at the time of purchase, but other than that, these boots comfortable and good looking. I wear them all over.

An Oasis of a Desert Boot - Comfortable right out of the box and within a few hours the shoe vanished and I was walking on air. One great boot!

Sir can I have another… pair - I was looking for a pair of black suede boots and stumbled across these. I purchased a pair thinking that they would be like all the boots I have purchased, but boy was I wrong. They didn't take that long to break in (today is the second time I have worn them and I have had them for about a week now) and they feel like they were built for my feet specifically. The black looks dressy enough for dress casual here at work and since I am on my feet for most of it; they are very comfortable.

I feel like a teenager again. I've been wearing Desert Boots since the mid-'70s, and I'm so happy that they're still available. I've noticed that they're no longer made in England (Slovenia), but the quality seems to be on a par with the older ones. After a short break-in period, Desert Boots are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, including sneakers. My only complaint is that the sizes are a little off - English sizes and American sizes differ slightly, so us Yanks should probably order 1/2 size smaller than usual. Please include an extra pair of laces, or let us know where to buy them. They're cotton and don't hold up particularly well.

Buying Back My Teenage Years - These are the shoes I wore in high school. They are exactly the same as they were in 1968. They are just as comfortable, just as sturdy, and look just the same as they did over 30 years ago. I expect they'll last as long as my last pair. Thanks Zappos for making them available!

2nd pair was just like the first - exactly what I wanted. These boots require some break in time, but soon become very soft and comfortable. I had to get the new pair because the soles wore out. They were about 18 months old and had been worn a lot and the uppers were in excellent shape. I like the shoes and will buy another pair when these die.
