Love these shoes. One caution though when ordering: like most Clarks, they run large - sometimes a full size. I wear an 11 in sneakers, ordered a 10.5 in this size and discovered I should have ordered a 10. I'm just going to wear thick socks, since winter is approaching. Awesome kicks, though!

I normally wear a 10.5 but had to order a full size down. I absolutely love them though. Plan on getting another pair!

I bought these shoes about 3 years ago, and they are possibly the best shoes I have ever bought. The beeswax leather is durable and comfortable and looks better with age. Mine are beat up and broken in, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I have a pair of Wallabees and Dream Weavers as well, but these are by far the best pair of Clarks available.

These boots are a quality product, the desert boot is perfect for a day in the office or night on the town. I have black and brown, they are my go to shoe in both winter and summer. Great boot casual yet classy, comfortable with a great look.

I got these in the beeswax leather. I love the way they look, and they get really comfortable once they're broken in.

The most comfortable shoe I own. Classic good looks, always in style. Simple and all leather, so my feet never perspire, even in hot weather.

This is an unsurpassed classic! I have tried other brands, but they hardly get close to the comfort and quality of the original. Clarks really continues producing the desert boot up to the same high standards. If you have a Clarks store in your town, I suggest you to go and try them on, then come back to Zappos and save money on you brand new pair. I love them and you will too.

Love the boots especially for the price! They rub the back of my heel a little, but nothing major. Zappos voluntarily overnighted them at no cost to me. Great customer appreciation and a reason why I continue to do business with the site.

These are very comfortable shoes! They do run about half a size larger than I am normally accustomed to, this caused me to have to exchange for a smaller size. I am also concerned that laces will need to be replaced probably around six months after normal use wearing them nearly everyday. This will be well before shoes will be worn out so I am worried about finding replacement laces of same style/color. Having said that, I love these boots and Clarks is awesome! They sent me an extra pair of laces at no charge.

These shoes arrived promptly...my son loves them! Please make sure you treat the suede before wearing them!

The shoe runs big. I wear a 13 usually, but a 12 fit fine. Very comfortable, but little arch support. Love the color, and the photos online are accurate. Zappos had this shoe to me in less than 24 hours. Awesome.

This is a super cool looking shoe. It is comfortable, and rather unusual looking. This makes it stand out, which is nice if that is what you are looking for. The one drawback is that the cream soles picks up dirt in a very distinct way making the soles look grimy very quickly. This effect is visible even from the sides. Due to this these shoes really cannot work as an alternative dress shoe.

Ended up grabbing these in a 10 when I feel my true size is closer to 10.5-11 in most other shoes. Generally very comfortable, they seem to go with most everything though I find myself wearing them most frequently with jeans. It's nice to have a shoe that looks better as it gets scuffed and worn and these beeswax desert boots are that shoe.

Fantastic shoes: haven't had a pair in 20 years, but I will be buying these until they stop making them!

I think these shoes are great. I wouldn't recommend them for someone who is going to be on their feet all day. They are comfortable in the sense of like putting soles on your favorite pairs of socks. They don't really have any arch support at all, but look great with a pair of jeans and wear well. I've had these for over a year now and still love them and still wear them. I don't wear them everyday or abuse them, but they are still in great condition. Overall, I'd buy them again.

Great looking boots. The beeswax coating wears quickly giving these shoes a great broken in look in no time. Bought them for a trip to Spain and wore them almost every day for a week and a half. They felt great, look good with anything, and the crepe sole is super comfortable.

Great looking shoe that goes with pretty much anything. Fits a bit tight in width at first but stretches out nicely. Get a half size down from your true measured size (ie if you're an 11 get a 10.5). Zappos service was amazing and shipping was blazing fast!

Really great shoe. Classic styling, you can definitely dress it up or down. I get compliments on mine (Beeswax Leather) all the time. Also, this is my first pair of desert boots and I was a bit wary about the fit and comfort, but These shoes are well constructed and they hold to your forefoot and cup your heel comfortably with just the simple lace. Other reviews about ordering smaller than your normal size are definitely accurate. Personally, I wear a 12 in most brands (rarely an 11.5). I ordered mine in a 10.5 US and they fit perfectly, so I'd say order one full size or more down. Also, these are probably not best for you if you normally wear wide width shoes. My feet are definitely not narrow, but My father tried mine on and they were a bit too snug (He normally wears EE width shoes).

I get a ton of mileage with these boots. They look great with khakis or jeans, and very comfy.

These are awesome shoes. My boyfriend loved them immediately and has not taken them off since he got them. The color is great-- neutral and classy. The shoes were wearable right out the box. A classic shoe!

I absolutely love my Desert Boots. I have had the same pair for over a year now, and I try my hardest to abuse them. I am a runner and these are my shoes of choice. I am fully aware that each shoe is no more than five pieces of leather loosely sewn together with a recycled rubber sole (which is extremely comfortable without the need for arch support), but I love them. No shoe allows you to be more true to yourself.

These go with everything! Make sure you get some colored laces to make them pop. They do run large. I recommend ordering a full size smaller.
