Extremely comfortable, stylish shoes, but not the most durable shoes out there. Mine last about 1 year to 18 months or so of pretty regular wear. I admit to being hard on shoes but my other less expensive Clarks were bought at the same time and they are still serviceable after 3 years of wear. The soft sole wears relatively quickly and the suede is prone to wearing down in the back if you drive a lot.

Wanted to love these. I have been wanting a pair for a long time. The toe box is narrow, digs into the pinky toe. Also the shoes are heavy. I bought inserts to make the footbed more comfortable but it has not worked.

Years ago when I first wore these as a kid, they felt like walking on clouds. I recently purchased another pair half expecting the same feeling especially after reading the reviews. I don't find the shoes to be as comfortable as I remember but I expect them to eventually get more comfortable over time. My chief complaints are: sizing - Yes, get a half size smaller so you don't get heel slippage. But I'm going to have to stretch my shoes because they aren't that comfortable in the toe box area. With time I expect the shoe to stretch and feel better. A half size larger would have been too large. Arch support - these shoes don't have adequate arch support and inserts will most likely solve that problem. Years ago these shoes felt like walking on clouds...the reality today is that I don't get that same feeling but at the same time the potential exists...in time...with the leather stretching in the toe box area and with arch support inserts. This will be my last pair of Clarks. While excellent shoes, they aren't meant for everyone.

Shoes is comfy but too big for the size. I'm flat footed and I feel like I'm tripping to the side wearing this shoes.

Zappos is the only place I can buy these "desert boots", as my husband calls them, in his size which is a mens 7. There isn't a shoe store anywhere that carries mens 7. He's worn them since their beginning and has always had a pair in his closet. Thank you Zappos.

Great shoe. It's very simple, yet distinctive like other Clark's classics. I hope they never discontinue it.

I have the pleasure of owning a piece of my youth & though I miss the made in USA which now says China. Great comfort and since I wear an insole on left foot it's hard for me to buy shoes, these do the job! I own them in two colors from Zappos, they have great customer service. This was my first time to buy shoes online!

The shoes arrived on time as promised, was exactly what was ordered and second pair of this same shoe and they are wonderful!

I wore out a pair of these 20 years ago. I'm glad to have another pair--I thought Clarks had gone out of business. Eventually you'll wear through the toe area, but eventually is a long time. For casual, these are hard to beat.

Never had a boot/shoe more comfortable right out of the box. I ordered a half size smaller than normal due to trying them on in store and knowing they fit me a little small. For the suede material a fabric protector is a must if you want them to stay clean for the most part because they do get a little dirty with that material. I think one person mentioned too narrow of a sole; they are narrow but I don't think as much so that its an inconvenience or uncomfortable. Wish I wouldn't have waited so long to get these because they are great, I'm definitely satisfied. Zappos is great as well, will do more shopping with them.

This is a Pretty Snazzy Shoe. It has some rocking style going in in that little sole! They are practically indestructible! But I did hear that the suede would get really dirty really fast, but that did not bring me down! So I went out and bought some spray that protects the suede from dirt and rain. Problem solved! I really recommend this amazing shoe!

I love my Wallabee! I used to wear them many years ago and they lived up to my expectations. The fit is great!

Absolutely amazing shoe. i bought these shoes a week ago, and they have already broken in. i definitely recommend getting a few sizes smaller (i normally wear an 11.5 and i ended up purchasing a 10 in these) i have the oily leather, and these shoes look great, and feel great. the only time i take them off is when i go to sleep. Clarks really knows how to make a beautiful shoe. The crepe sole makes for an incredibly comfortable shoe, it really does feel like ou're walking on clouds. If you're on the line at all about buying these shoes, trust me, buy them.

Quite possibly the best casual fall shoe I have ever owned. They look great with jeans and the comfort is second to none. I will be purchasing another pair in suede here in the near future. The toe box is roomy and comfy with heavy socks.

Always have loved the classic design & comfort of the Clarks Wallabee. This was my 4th different color. I can wear Wallabees with jeans or slacks and know that the crepe sole will always be super comfortable.

One of the best pairs of shoes I have ever purchased. Super comfortable and I get compliments all the time. A lot of reviews saw to get a 1/2 size smaller than you normally wear...I definitely recommend doing this, as well, as the leather stretches slightly after the first wear.

I have owned many pairs of wallabees...the test I usually do to show endurance and ruggedness of my wallabees is stand in the tub with water not high enough to cover the whole boot but enough to immerse it 3/4 of the shoe then watch as they change colors (sand suede type). It doesn't ruin them it gives they character and they break in faster. Try that with all the colors Zappos offers. It's fun!

Wallabees are the only shoe I wear. It's been that way with me for over 3 decades, since college. I wear a 7M...period. No risk ordering Wallabees without trying them on first. Sure, they are pricey, but like Apple computers, you get what you pay for. I always have a suede pair and a leather pair on hand. Any given pair last me well over ten years...that's wearing them almost every day. Wallabees are extremely comfortable right out of the box, and allow one's feet to breathe...no foot odor funk ever. These boots do not lace across the top of my foot, which I dislike in other shoes. The laces have never broken on me, and resist knotting on themselves.

Love these shoes. This is my third or fourth pair over the years. Great for semi-casual occasions, and very comfortable.

Actual facts. My personal experience with Wallabee's by Clarks has been a superb one each time. Great look matched by supreme comfort is a winning combo everyday of the week.

Timeless, comfort and style - I started wearing Wallabees in the early 70's. In the early 80's I was unable to find a retailer that carried them. Here comes the Internet and behold, I find that they are still available. I absolutley love this shoe. There is nothing that I have found that makes me feel as though I am not wearing shoes at all even close to these. I wear Wallabees every day at work and often over the weekend. The soles last me about a year and a half. When you order them, get a half size smaller than you would normally wear since they will grow to match your foot. The first day may be a little tight, but that passes quickly. I just wish they would bring back the tan leather, not the beeswax, but brown leather like the black.

Good Shoes - I love these shoes. The are stylish and quite comfortable. The only thing I have noticed that bothers me in the three weeks I have had them is that the sole's seem to wear more than a normal shoe, most likely it is because of the gumsole.
