Generally pleased - They are nice, light-weight (maybe too light-weight (?). I wonder how they'll hold up). They are comfortable, but not nearly as comfortable as the Clarks Tracker. They are definitely dressier than the Tracker and that's what I needed. I'm glad I got them. They are superior to anything I saw in local shoe stores.

Clarks Natureveldt - Shoes are basically good looking and the fit is a tad off (a double EE width should have fit in width a little better) overall I was satisfied with my purchase. I rate Zappos 5 stars for their service.

Since they started making these in China, their quality has unfortunately declined. It's still a good shoe; just not as good as it used to be. The most recent change I've noted is the decision to not use leather in the lining. I use orthotics and this just makes it squeak a lot.

Great shoe - Great shoe but not as good as it used to be (can't put a finger on it except for maybe the fact of the smooth black surface where the ball of the foot goes...underneath the insert). This area use to be like the rest of the green part and mesh together with the insert. Wish they would use a different leather on the top of the insert as this type of leather is a bit slippery when new (it is the same leather as the outside).

Eases pain from peripheral neuropathy - I have peripheral neuropathy and at times have a lot of pain in my feet. These shoes are the most comfortable I have found. I wear them a half-size large - it helps...

The Foot Speaks - I purchased these shoes a little over a month ago because I couldn`t get Zappo`s to order the Clark Treks (oiled desert boot variant, seam up the middle) I wanted. I can`t comment on their durability. The shoes are surprisingly lightweight, breathe well, require no break-in, but look a little clunky, compared to the more elegant but somehow still-funky Treks. So I guess I`m pretty happy. But Clark`s is under the impression that Zappo`s will special order their shoes at a customer`s request and this is not the case.

I have been wearing Clarks for the last 33 years and have always enjoyed them, I must say the Natureveldt is my favorite, as the sole is very durable and solid, and as I am always on my feet and walk everywhere, they are the shoe I always wear, the only thing that I don't like about them is that they don't come in a 12.5 EE size, as that is what my foot is, so instead I end up with 13 regular as they don't make a wide, but in fact the fit is great, if but a bit long, but still I don't wear any other shoe, as they are soo comfortable. Be careful though, not all Clarks styles/sizes are the same, I tried to purchase a Air Mover in the same size and they were too small, whereas the Natureveldt was great.

The "new" Clark's shoes. For years, Clarks were made in England. The pair I replaced via Zappos was purchased in London about 10 years ago. I had a hard time finding them and of course, Zappos had them. I ordered the exact size and width of my old reliable English made shoe. Guess what? Thye are now made in China and the last is not the same. If you wear an M in an english made shoe buy a W from Zappos. I guess Clarks stopped making shoes in England. They are all from China now. Too bad!

Comfortable Shoes are hard to find - By way of explanation - I have type II diabetes and my feet are quite painful most of the time so it is hard to find a comfortable shoe. When I first tried this shoe on, it seemed a half size large so I ordered a half size smaller. They were too small, so I kept the original pair. After wearing them for awhile they are becoming more comfortable and of all of the shoes I own, after a day of wearing the Natureveldt my feet are LESS sore than from any of my other shoes - if that makes any sense. You almost have to have diabetes to appreciate the problem.

Soles - Those of you who have been lamenting the change of sole might like to know that the latest production of this shoe, in the UK at least, now has the old-style sole (with the round nubs) back again. Yay!

I have always enjoyed these shoes. My only disapointment is that they are now made in China instead of England. This is my fifth pair.

These are my favorite shoes. After a year, they still feel buoyant, like new sneakers. They are comfortable, don't slip in the wet, can stomp through anything. The soles are amazing--they just don't wear. The first pair's too long laces were the right length on the second pair. But the insole on both pairs I've had have not stayed stuck to the bottom. After a few months of banging around Manhattan, the insoles have gone wandering about the shoe. Haven't found a decent solution to that. You can get blisters in these, but it takes concentrated effort. Overall, wonderful things, but needs better glue.

Another great Clarks shoe - I've worn Clarks for many years and found them immediately comfortable and very long wearing. I was concerned that this would no longer be true after the switch from Europe to China for most production. However the new shoes seem to be equal.

Color - I like this shoe, but not the color. I just returned my pair and would prefer a tan leather color.

Very comfortable, jury is out on looks. I love them and they're comfy as heck, but my wife thinks they look cheap and my friend thinks they look bland. I'm my own master, so I'm going to walk around New York in them to my heart's content.

This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. No break-in needed. It has plenty of room in the toe area. The only improvement this shoe could get is a padded tounge. The tounge tends to roll under or slide back when you put your foot in. I WILL buy another pair.

Clark's Natureveldt - These shoes are very comfortable. I like that they are plenty wide in the front, I have to use orthotics and they fit into these shoes very well. It seems that the heels are wearing fairly quickly though. I hope that slows down as the shoes wear in. Overall I am very happy with these so far and plan to buy another pair soon.

"New" Natureveldt sole design is big mistake. I agree that the old Clark Natureveldt was one of the most comfortable shoe ever made. The problem is, you can't get them anymore. Clarks changed the inner and outer sole design a couple of years ago which has made the shoe stiff, heavy, and clunky. The old style sole (with round nub pattern on bottom of sole and rounded sole edges) was much more flexible, lighter, cooler, and comfortable than the new design. The change has had such a profound effect on the shoe, I don't think they should even call them Natureveldts any more, the name should have been changed as it's really a different shoe. I've owned both styles now, old and new, and will not buy another. I only wished I would have bought a lifetime's supply of the old style Natureveldt when they still made them. That shoe was the most durable and comfortable shoe I over owned. Too bad the adage no good thing lasts forever had to come true for the Clark Natureveldts. I'm saddened that I have to go search for a different shoe after having once possessed the perfect footwear. The old style felt like moccasins. Sad, I wonder what Clark Shoes was thinking?

Ugly but comfortable and durable - My second pair was not quite as sturdy as my first pair but still they rank up there. Newer Clarks wear out on the inside in the back.

Very good shoe! Initially I tried the Clarks Air Movers, but they were not available in my width. After finding out these were available in a wider shoe and had the same Active Air System as the Air Movers, I ordered a pair. While they are very comfortable, they do not look as nice as the Air Movers and do not seem to be quite as comfortable.
