Very comfortable - best shoe I've bought. I never owned a pair of Clarks before, so this was my first pair. I really love them, and I think they're the most comfortable pair I've owned. I read some other reviewers comparing the British made originals to the newer Chinese made ones who had less than positive comments about the latter. Well, since I cannot compare the older ones to the newer ones, I can just go by the new ones. I think they're great. Best shoe I've owned. Very good foot padding with the insole and very comfortable all around the foot. Arch support could be a tad better, but comparable to other shoes I've worn. I bought the wide and they are very similar to the fit of other wide shoes I've bought from Rockport (in my opinion). I really have no complaints about the Clarks... maybe the feel of the leather could be better but that's nitpicking. This was my first Zappos experience and they are now the only place I will buy shoes from again!! Honestly. They have me sold. I had to return another pair (another brand) and I received my new pair (door to door from KY - PA) within 14 hours. YES, 14 hours later! I couldn't believe it. I talked to them at 8:00 PM and got my new shoes the next morning on the door step. I even got a thank you card from the customer service rep a few days later! Zappos is GREAT and I am very satisfied with the shoes too. I plan to buy another pair of these shoes soon in another color.

5 or 6 years ago I bought 3 pairs of Clarks Velt shoes. Only lately I tried one pair for the first time after 5 years in storage. The sole came right off; it was a material fault. After contacting Zappos, they replaced it right away and two days later I had a new replacement pair arriving in the mail without any costs. This time the soles were of a different material and are lasting.

Mail order of shoes - Easy to navigate the website; they came very quickly in the mail. Were just what we wanted.

Replacement under warranty - I guess this pair was one in a million, that had to be replaced under warranty, I liked this type of shoe so much that I went with exactly the same for the replacement, and the customer service was excellent.

Excellent shoe - My husband had been looking for these shoes in retail outlets for several years - in brown. He loves the shoes - the way they look, the feel, certainly the durability. Also, I cannot say enough about the Zappos customer service when we had to return for a different size. They were wonderful, so polite and helpful on the telephone. The correct size arrived the following day. My husband loves this shoe so much that this is his second pair of brown ones and he also has a pair of black ones. The black ones are a half size larger than the brown ones which is reason for the return.

Very satisfied with shoes - My husband loves these shoes and they are impossible to find in our area. I also think your service is fabulous. I am planning to order more shoes through you.

5 stars: Highly recommended - I noticed on the shoe lace area a mini- hole. Not sure if that is normal.

Going downhill. I've worn Natureveldts for about 20 years. They are great shoes from the standpoint of fit, comfort, and utility. However, they're not the shoes they once were, and I can tell because I've got three old pairs in my closet that I can't bring myself to toss out. On my newest pair, the padded insert disintegrated in about two months. The laces have gone from "still the same ones on the old shoes in my closet" to "buy me a couple pairs of new laces next time you're in Wal-Mart". The leather has gone downhill, as well, from tough, thick-yet-flexible to thin and prone to breaking at flexpoints. The soles seem to wear out faster than on the old ones. They're now made in China, a Clarks representative just told me when I called to order new inserts (not available, I was told). I wouldn't have been wearing these shoes if I didn't think they were great, but they're less great than they were.

VERY Pleased!! I was so happy to see you had this shoe from Clarks. My husband broke his foot years ago and this Natureveldt is the ONLY shoe he can ware in true comfort. Please continue to carry it. I sure wish they made it for women also. The air pockets in the sole is very important in this shoe - leather is great - just an AA++ shoe!! As to the arch support - it is ok but my husband has flat feet so really best to not have any at all. He loves this shoe!!

Clarks changed this shoe! I attempted to replace my 2 year old Natureveldt with these only to find that Clarks now makes them in a new country with a new design that is totally different than the old Natureveldt. Totally uncomfortable.

20+ years and counting - I have purchased Clark Natureveldts for at least 24 years and love them. They are wonderful if you are on your feet and/or have to walk around a lot. In all these years I have had only one pair that did not feel comfortable straight from the box and Zappos replaced them for me immediately.

Sore heels after first long wear - Immediately after receiving these new shoes I wore them on a 3-day business trip. Some of the activity involved continuous walking for 2 miles or more. Wow, the back of my feet were sore where the back of the shoe rubbed against my sock! I was wishing I was wearing an old broken-in pair of sneakers. I hope this was just a problem of the shoes being too new, or my feet not being used to them. In every other respect the shoes fit comfortably, look great, and I intend to get a lot of good use from them.

GREAT SHOE - I ordered this pair of shoes for my husband. He tried them on and said that they felt like he's been wearing them for years! He loves them!

Good solid shoe - Replaced an older pair of Clarks where the soles disintegrated. This new shoe is quite comfortable and supportive to the feet...cannot comment on longevity of soles...hope better than last pair.

Clarks Natureveldt - This is my fourth pair of Natureveldts; nothing even comes close for comfort. You can wear them every day.

Clarks - I bought these shoes for my dad. He has been wearing Natureveldts for many years and loves them. He has back problems and says these shoes are great if he has to be on his feet for an extended time.

Right on - I am just ordering my fourth pair of these shoes. I love mine. They are so ugly they are cool. I am getting brown this time. They are super comfortable and make you look like a school principal.

The best shoes ever - I had a pair of these shoes (Dark Brown Oily) before. I liked it so much so that I bought many pairs of other models of Clarks. I found that Natureveldt was the best. I just bought another pair of Natureveldt in a different color (Chestnut Leather). It is comfortable, stylish, and long lasting. I might want a another pair of this model soon.

Third pair of these shoes - This is the 3rd pair of these - they last more than two years. Ideal all-around shoe.

Extremely comfortable shoe!!! I have worn two pairs of these-one black and one tan-for over a year on a concrete floor and these shoes have been great on my feet. They look like orthopedic shoes but are so comfortable that I don't care. My wide-EE-feet love them. Both pairs came from Zappos as have several other pairs of my shoes. Great service!!!

Second Pair - This is my second pair of the Natureveldt. Great shoe. It's a great urban-walking shoe. After some wear (extended wear) it tends to "give" a bit too much and lose its original structure. But it's a very reliable and comfortable shoe. Highly recommended.

Superlative Goods and Services - I have worn Clarks shoes for over 35 years. This is my fifth pair of Natureveldts. I've worn other styles as well. Comfort and durability are unsurpassed. I have flat feet and stand much of the day. The Natureveldt allows me to enjoy comfort and moderate support with little fatigue and no discomfort over the course of 16 hours. Zappos worked patiently and politely with me as my typical size 9.5 was a bit uncomfortable. Purchasing shoes from this organization offers me prompt service, attentive telephone contact, very convenient return procedures, and excellent pricing. I'll definitely be back.

Replacement soles - These shoes are perfect in every way except the soles are splitting right across the instep. I would like to get replace soles if possible.

Natureveldt - My new pair of Natureveldt looks very good and is very comfortable. My shoe felt comfortable the moment I removed it from the package and place them on my feet. I will be purchasing another pair within 60 days. I am delighted to be able to purchase my new natureveldt because I could not find them in local stores.
