Great Comfort and Durability. This is the third pair of these I've purchased. The previous two pairs have lasted a total of about 7 years and I wore them Monday through Friday. I highly recommend them, they are well padded, and the leather is supple and keeps a semi-glossy finish with very little maintenance.

It has no arch support at all. Very sturdy soles look like they would go for years, heavy build with a sleek look. Very attractive shoe, although exchanged mine for shoes with another Clarks to get the air comfort that seems to fit my feet perfectly.

Clarks Natureveldt Excellent - I have worn/still wear numerous brands of shoes, from HR Trask to Merrell to Rockports, but the ones made by Clark are still my favorites. I like the wider forefoot these shoes have, and (this will sound like a contradiction) the firm sole yet with a soft insole feeling. They are attractive and the leather is top grade. Unless you need a real narrow shoe (I don't know if they come in widths) you will love these.

Tried and True - I have worn this shoe for years and it is wonderful. It always fits the same and it wears very well. Highly recommend.

Natureveldt Review - I have Been wearing Natureveldt for over 15 years and I have all four colors, And they are very comfortable and durable. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a very comfortable shoe that looks good.

I'm glad I got such good help. This was actually a replacement pair for a defective pair I purchased. I had such ease placing my order and received them very quickly.

My comfort zone - I have been wearing Clarks Natureveldt shoes for the last 19 years of my life. It’s the one and the only pair of shoes that I have and wear everywhere including formal parties, walking, daily work, etc. except in the gym! They last for a good 4 years. I am so addicted to it that I am not prepared to change the brand with anything else. The customer service at Zappos is fantastic.

Update to my 9/21 review - I just got the Dark Brown "oily" version. They are GORGEOUS - nothing oily looking or feeling about them - just a beautiful, rich nubuck look and feel - even softer than my regular brown ones. Also, they fit perfect. After three years of daily use, my brown ones got wider in the front, so that I had to gradually pull the shoe strings tighter and tighter, but I forgot how perfectly these shoes fit years ago. If they weren’t so darn well-made I would never have had this problem - I would've just chucked them a year ago! Bravo Clarks...thanks for the great overnight delivery Zappos - you guys are the best! BTW, I have flat feet and these shoes feel great right out of the box - NO BREAK IN TIME!

3 yrs. and still going strong! I bought these three years ago and they still look and feel great! Easily the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. VERY roomy especially in the toe area. One very small gripe. Because they are a little wide (someone said "clunky") in front, I sometimes bang the legs of chair or whatever when I walk close by. But then again I'm a little clumsy. Well worth the price (although I only paid less three years ago).

Love at first fit - I have tried half a dozen other expensive brands and over $1k in orthotics. As soon as I put these shoes on, I knew they were the shoes I'd been looking for. They work well with my orthotics. Next shoes I buy will be Clarks!

Ahhhh - A great shoe. I wore orthotics for years and suffered ankle pain after a long day regardless. I bought a pair of these at an outlet store and loved them so much I bought a second pair in another color from Zappos. They came next day for the same price as the outlet! Stupendous service!

Clarks Natureveldt - I have Clarks Natureveldt's & Walkabees, I also have foot problems and these shoes make it a lot more comfortable to walk. I strongly recommend these to anybody that likes foot comfort.

Prep school shoes - I bought these for my 7th grade son (in desperation!)trying to find something he would agree to wear to school. His school requires polo/dress slacks/leather shoes. After trying 19 other shoes, he agreed to these and has since bought the second pair for this year. They wear well, are very comfortable (even when new) and have a nice look. They are great for wide feet. Well worth the price, as they lasted a whole school year and could have worn longer but his feet grew.

Great all around shoe - Natureveldt is a great all around shoe. They are a well made Asian import shoe and have a clean look to them. Price is reasonable as well. I recommend this shoe for comfort as well as looks.

Clarks stands by their name with help from Zappos - My Clarks shoes had disintegrated. Although they were over 15 years old, they had been worn only 5 times. We wrote to Clarks/Zappos (unaware of the merge) with little hope of getting any help. Needless to say, we got a brand new pair with no questions asked that showed up two days later. We are and always have been Clarks fans, and are now Zappos fans (and first time shoppers) too. The product, response, and service was impeccable!

Today (July '07) starts my third Clarks Naturevelt. My first shoe started in January 1998 while driving semi trucks. The second shoe began in April of '03. That should tell you how much I used them and how comfortable they are for me. I like the "chestnut" color. /:^) These shoes are more expensive to buy until... you see how long each of my Naturevelt shoes have worn.

Shoe Review - The shoes I received were exactly as I had expected. They are very comfortable and well made.

Clarks' Natureveldt - I'm on my feet all day---these shoes keep me from knowing that! Most comfortable shoes I have owned.

Very comfortable - best shoe I've bought. I never owned a pair of Clarks before, so this was my first pair. I really love them, and I think they're the most comfortable pair I've owned. I read some other reviewers comparing the British made originals to the newer Chinese made ones who had less than positive comments about the latter. Well, since I cannot compare the older ones to the newer ones, I can just go by the new ones. I think they're great. Best shoe I've owned. Very good foot padding with the insole and very comfortable all around the foot. Arch support could be a tad better, but comparable to other shoes I've worn. I bought the wide and they are very similar to the fit of other wide shoes I've bought from Rockport (in my opinion). I really have no complaints about the Clarks... maybe the feel of the leather could be better but that's nitpicking. This was my first Zappos experience and they are now the only place I will buy shoes from again!! Honestly. They have me sold. I had to return another pair (another brand) and I received my new pair (door to door from KY - PA) within 14 hours. YES, 14 hours later! I couldn't believe it. I talked to them at 8:00 PM and got my new shoes the next morning on the door step. I even got a thank you card from the customer service rep a few days later! Zappos is GREAT and I am very satisfied with the shoes too. I plan to buy another pair of these shoes soon in another color.

5 or 6 years ago I bought 3 pairs of Clarks Velt shoes. Only lately I tried one pair for the first time after 5 years in storage. The sole came right off; it was a material fault. After contacting Zappos, they replaced it right away and two days later I had a new replacement pair arriving in the mail without any costs. This time the soles were of a different material and are lasting.

Mail order of shoes - Easy to navigate the website; they came very quickly in the mail. Were just what we wanted.

Replacement under warranty - I guess this pair was one in a million, that had to be replaced under warranty, I liked this type of shoe so much that I went with exactly the same for the replacement, and the customer service was excellent.

Excellent shoe - My husband had been looking for these shoes in retail outlets for several years - in brown. He loves the shoes - the way they look, the feel, certainly the durability. Also, I cannot say enough about the Zappos customer service when we had to return for a different size. They were wonderful, so polite and helpful on the telephone. The correct size arrived the following day. My husband loves this shoe so much that this is his second pair of brown ones and he also has a pair of black ones. The black ones are a half size larger than the brown ones which is reason for the return.

Very satisfied with shoes - My husband loves these shoes and they are impossible to find in our area. I also think your service is fabulous. I am planning to order more shoes through you.
