The Best Sandal I've Ever Owned - After moving to Florida 3 years ago, I purchased a pair of Clarks's Sunbeat. Since the weather is almost always warm/hot, I've worn these sandals for about 30 months. I noticed that my feet and legs never felt "tired" when I wore the Sunbeats. My ankles might have been swollen from the heat, but my feet were mostly always "happy". Last week, JC Penneys was having a sale on sandals. I decided to get another pair of Clarks Sunbeats in another color. I ordered my size and sat down. When the new pair arrived, the salesman asked me why I was buying another pair, since the one I was wearing was new. "New" I said, these sandals are over three years old!!! After seeing the sale price of these same sandals, I decided to go back to Zappos. The prices here at Zappos are even cheaper than a sale price at JCPenney!! Try them, you'll LOVE them......

Old standbys - Okay, so they're not the coolest looking sandal around. But they may just be the very most comfortable for the price. And, from my experience, incredibly durable, too. I bought a pair in black nubuck in 1986 and wore them daily for six months out of the year. The soles cracked suddenly in 2002, and both shoes just crumbled. But, after all that time and wear, who could blame them? These were the very first sandals that didn't kill my pinky toes, and I can't stop raving about Clark's sueded footpads. If you haven't found an exorbitantly comfortable sandal yet, do yourself a favor and buy a pair! When they stretch out, I just immersed mine in water, put them on, and they conformed to my feet again. Perfectly.

My favorite sandals - I've worn the Sunbeat Clark sandals for many years, I keep replacing them with the same or sometimes other colors, even though they last a very long time. Even when taking a walk I wear my Sunbeats, as they're as comfortable as walking shoes to me. Would definitely recommnend for comfort & for looks.

fantastic - I've had this shoe for four years and wear them at least once a week. They're so comfortable, I first bought a pair for my mother and thought they were old lady shoes. But they looked so comfy, I bought a pair for myself! That was my first experience with Clarks. Since then, I've purchased six more pair.

Wonderful sandal! Classic style and excellent support. Adjustable straps are great for my wide foot. Boy, do they last a long time. I'm still wearing a pair from 1996! I've got five pairs altogether, in different colors, and I just love them. Highly recommend!

Everybody Needs this Shoe! This shoe is a life saver! If your feet start to hurt, just adjust the buckles. I had toe surgery, and this is the only shoe I could wear. I'm in love with them!

The most comfortable shoe I've ever owned... I have a swelling problem with my feet & therefore am limited as to what kind of shoe I can wear. This sandal is wonderful with its adjustable straps. It's so comfortable, plus has enough support so you can do a fair amount of walking in it. I own several pairs in different colors.

Have worn ONLY this shoe for years and LOVE them. Not in the stores near me so am only able to get them through Zappos. The last couple of pairs, mostly the black, the fabric insole of the shoe has worn out very quickly and separated from the sole. I wear the black more frequently, and occasionally wear the tan and navy blue. Also, the size is much smaller than usual. I love the comfort and style of this shoe, so not sure a larger size will help. The length is perfect, but had to move the straps out a notch. The strap near the little toe is on the last hole and always comes out of the fastener clip. I have a short, wide foot and this is the only shoe I have found that I am able to wear comfortably. The 7.5 W is frequently out of stock so I try to place a double order when my size is in stock so I will always have a new pair available.

I agree with previous comments about the deterioration in quality of the shoes. I compared the pair I just purchased with an old pair purchased three years ago. The leather straps on the new pair are much thinner and feel almost like cardboard. Only time will tell, but I do not think this pair will last three years. They continue to fit well and feel comfortable, and for that reason I gave the shoes four stars. However, at this price, I will not buy another pair if they wear out prematurely.

Love the fit and style, hate the metallic finish. Debating whether to keep them or send them back; it was my fault for not watching the video which clearly shows that these sandals have a shiny metallic finish.

I like them! Got the wide because I believe they run a little narrow and they're perfect. Love the adjustable straps.

I've worn this style of Clarks before so knew that they were very comfortable and would last me a long time.

I wasn't thrilled with the patent leather, but I have to say they are comfortable and I wear them a lot.

Perfect fit! Much dressier than other comfort shoes. I prefer the solid patent, but these will suffice until Clark's wises up to make the smooth patent in this style again.

Very nice shoes but I ordered extra wide and it felt like a C width where I really needed something wider.

This is my 2nd pair of Clarks Sunbeat in the Mushroom Nubuck color. The first pair was from Italy and very comfortable. The 2nd pair is made in China. I wore them on the carpet a long time to make sure they were all right. Then I wore them out today and the heel feels like it has a lump in it. It is coming I think from where the strap is sewn into the bottom of the sandal. Too late to exchange them because I wore them outside. Hopefully it will get better. It does not hurt, just feels lumpy or scratchy on the side of the heel. The Italian sandals were softer. Still, it is a good sandal and so adjustable. No blisters with these sandals. Customer Service was excellent when I bought these sandals and I had exchanged them because the Narrow ones were too narrow, even though I have a Narrow foot. So I got Medium width. Zappos has been over the years the best internet company to buy from. Prompt service and nice people.

Great, classic, comfortable sandal. Having a very narrow foot, I found the strap around the heel just a bit too loose, and it has no buckle to adjust it.

I still wear this same style Clarks Sunbeat sandal that I purchased 8 years ago. That pair of Clarks was made in London. The Clarks I purchased at Zappos.com are now made in China. They run a half size smaller than the previous pair. I'm wondering if they will last as long. The 8 year old pair is still in great shape after a great deal of wear and tear. An amazing shoe!

Leather feels somewhat thin. Not as good quality as original ones purchased years ago. Fits smaller than normal. But still comfy.

Clarks Sunbeat sandals are very comfortable. I wear a narrow and the fit across the foot was very good. The strap around the heel is not adjustable and is a little too loose. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

A comfortable pair of sandals. I\'m on my feet a lot at my job, and they have decent support and don\'t rub or chafe anywhere. That\'s all I can really say about them at this point. It remains to be seen if they wear well.

I needed a sandal with strap support to help a healing toe bone and these really fit the bill. They are very flexible and reasonably cushioned and move with one\'s foot in a good way. They may have one too many straps for some, but I actually find the look quite cute, especially in the bronze. They are not too \'gladiator\' in real life. The buckles are a little floppy to close but you only need to do one of the straps on a daily basis as the foot slides right in. Great that the buckles can be tightened as the sandal stretches over time.

Great shoes can be hard to find and these sandals in wide are the most comfortable I’ve ever had. The color is nice, the width and size are true to size and they give plenty of support for summer sandals (or winter ones if you like to wear socks with your sandals). I like the nubuck leather even better because it is just a touch softer, but I thought I would try a slightly different color and I am not disappointed.

I ordered this for my wife one half size smaller than I measured her foot. It fits well, and as with most Clarks, the comfort level is good. I know the shoes run a tad toward the wide side, but with the three buckles this is easily overcome.
