The only negative initially is that the toe area seems to be rather narrow for a double wide size. It is getting better because the shoe is stretching out and very soft so it is wearable but snug initially. Overall a comfortable shoe.

Nice color, good quality, but as everyone else says, not much room in the toe area...makes them feel cramped.

If all business concerns were this easy to deal with, the Better Business Bureau would go out of business. Great job, Zappos gang!

These shoes are extraordinarily comfortable. However, I preferred the color of the tan Easy Spirit Motions that I purchased years ago.

It's great to find a pair of shoes that actually will fit. It took a bit of time to break them in but it's worth it. I have very wide short feet and these fit the bill for a decent pair of almost flat shoes.

I like the support of tie shoes and these look more stylish and are comfortable, too! Gave it a four star rating though, because they are lighter than I'm used to--like wearing a pair of slippers and no arch support. Otherwise, I liked this pair of shoes!

Easy Spirit Motion shoes did not fit me well - I was looking for a light colored, reasonably attractive and comfortable walking shoe with good support. These shoes looked good but did not fit me well. I have high arches and they provided almost no arch support. Room at the toe felt cramped i.e. was not high enough. The shoe felt both too long and too narrow in my usual size (7 1/2 wide). Sadly, I ended up returning it immediately (thank you Zappos!!) and trying the Propet Washable Walkers instead. However I don't yet know if the latter will fit better. Perhaps the Easy Spirit shoes will be better for someone with narrower, flatter feet than mine.

Easy Spirit Motion Shoes - Easy Spirit shoes are known for their comfort and good fit. I have been wearing them for many years. I always have a couple of pairs.

A Bit Narrow - OUCH! This style feels very narrow. I normally wear a size 7, medium shoe, but can get away with many 6.5 wides. In this Easy Spirit style, I ordered a 6.5 wide, 6.5 extra wide, 7 medium, 7 wide, 7 extra wide, and 7.5 extra wide. I found that the extra wide worked for me on width, but I had too much heel slippage, even in the 6.5. While I LOVED the style and look, I'm afraid I had to return all of them. I ended up keeping a Reebok black athletic shoe even though it is much chunkier than what I normally wear.

Comfort...but a little orthopedic looking - This shoe is great if you spend a lot of time on your feet. Very comfortable. They do tend to look a little too orthopedic though.

Quite a comfy and stylish walking shoe! I have it in black, white, and tan. I think there's a bit of a break-in period, though, as sometimes it gets a little tight around where my toes attach to my foot. Sleek, almost like a dance shoe. Extremely comfortable. Might want to get it in a wide width if you have a weird foot, though.

Every day shoes - These shoes are my "Every Day" comfort shoes. I ordered these to replace my old ones that have seen their best days. My old ones were marked "Made in the USA". I looked for the mark on the new ones, but did not find it. My daughter suggested I order from Zappos, and I was very pleased to find what I wanted and the correct size. Much easier than going hunting for them. Thank you, and I will continue to be a customer.

Very comfortable for walking - The width is a good fit in the toe area, but there is a little rubbing on the back side, which I'm sure will go away with wear.

Not a fantastic looking shoe but comfortable and fills the bill when a sneaker is too bulky but you want something comfortable.

Easy Spirit- I already own 2 other pair the same size, different color. This shoe seems a little shorter than my other shoes. I used to wear easy spirit in an AA but these new ones are a B, along with the other 2 pair I have in a B. I wish they would make them in a Navy Blue. I also used to have them in gray. I had 2 pair of them in 8 1/2 AA but I wore them out. Then I switched to SAS shoes, but my foot hurts at night when I wear them now, but I have over 10 pair of SAS.

Fit of new shoe - The shoe is perfect for my need. I have MS and walk with the assistance of a cane. The shoe is perfect for when I need a dress shoe but it is very tight. I'm hoping it will get more comfortable with more wearing.

I ordered 8M, but they were way to wide in the heel. I returned them and exchanged them for 8N, which were way too tight across the toes. Surprising, since I've never had this problem with any style of shoes before.

It was just okay. There’s nothing special about this shoe at all. The fit and construction of the shoe was definitely good, but walking in it felt odd, as the area between the toe and the laces wouldn’t move, so it wouldn’t feel nice when I walked. It’s certainly s good basic shoe, but it seems just too basic for me.

The taupe color is great and goes with everything but the shoe is way too narrow! They have to be returned unfortunately.

This shoe in the Dark Taupe has sparkles in the color. The "W" or "D" runs very narrow. Returning it.

These shoes look OK, but they are not comfortable if you have foot problems. I wore them for five minutes in the living room and my heel pain was back. There's not a lot of arch support, and the soles are thin. They could use more padding.

Nice looking in wheat but too narrow in the toes. I would try a half-size longer, but the color and width I want are not available.

No arch support - I'm surprised this shoe got the great reviews it did - the sole is thin with no discernable arch support. I thought it would be okay for casual wear, but it is quite unattractive as well.

Loved these for years but quality seems to have dropped off - I teach and am on my feet 7 hours/day. I got my first pair of Easy Spirit Motion my first year teaching and loved them so much I kept getting a new pair every 2-3 years. My last two pairs; however, have been much lower quality - the heel bed collapses and the sole has much less shock absorbing quality than it used to. I am switching to another kind of shoe this year. I love the reviews on Zappos - hopefully they'll help me find a new shoe to love.
