They are by far the most comfortable shoe. I've worn out my white pair and am experiencing difficulty in getting another pair with the golve soft leather. They really do wear out fast, and I don't mind that as long as I can get more.

This shoe was lightweight, flexible, and can take a thin orthotic to add more arch support.
The style is suitable when you want a laced sneaker that doesn't look as clunky as a walking or cross-training shoe.

I have a wide foot and Easy Spirit usually runs wider than other brands. Not so with this style. After wearing for a day, they stretched a little and are very comfortable.

This is a comfortable walk around town, shopping shoe. I walked all over Germany in the shoe, and wished more support for heavy duty walking, but it is a nice alternative look to a gym shoe.

My feet are wide...very wide. I bought these in a 2E even though wear a 3E, but they don't come in that size. I used a shoe stretcher and it worked great. I needed a lightweight looking sneaker. I really hate the chunky, athletic looking shoes that are popular in today's market. Heaven forbid I should walk further than from my house to my car or up and down store aisles. However, the shoes are comfortable and supportive enough to do some major walking...just not going to happen on this old lady's feet.

This is a very comfortable shoe and can be worn all day long. It is almost like wearing your favorite slippers, but with more support. It does come up a but far to the front of the ankle, but not so much to make me return them. Great customer service, shipping at the speed of light, and easy and free outward and return shipping. You can't beat that. If you can't find something they used to have and no longer have, they will find it for you on another website. Truly amazing customer service.

I generally wear an 8-1/2N enclosed shoe, an 8-1/2N or 9N sandal and a 9 medium in a sneaker (which I wear with socks). The Easy Spirit AP1 was too short. (The Keds Champion in a 9 medium fit like a charm, as did the New Balance Classics in a 9 medium.)

Mom loves them -
I purchased these shoes for my 88 year old mother who still has her original pair from at least 20 years ago. She says that they are the most comfortable shoes for her and now only wears them. I got the new pair and gave them to her. She put them on and said they were great. I personally don't like the look of them but she loves them.

They're great as long as they last.
Like the others, I've found that the shoe tends to try to pull apart in the toe box after continued wear, but they are so comfortable, it's a minor inconvenience as long as they continue to make them to reorder. I remember the good old days of the Mach I which was available in AAAA width. A wonderful shoe, but they discontinued it and didn't replace it with another slim fitting walker.

If you have a very narrow foot, you can't beat Cole Haan shoes for fit, but they are certainly pricey.

The ONLY sport shoe I buy!
I discovered these shoes about 4 years ago. I first bought them because they don't have the high "collar" around the top, my ankles hate those. The cushiony insole and the overall design make these the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. One day I went shopping in a large mall, wearing a Ked-like sneaker. My feet, legs, hips and back were killing me. I stopped and bought a pair of these, needing a new pair anyway, and was able to enjoy the rest of the shopping.
I do wish that the sole edge would stay glued better, but other than that, I have no complaints.

Why not White Fabric?
I've had two pairs of this style in the white fabric they came in -in the GOOD OLD DAYS. Now, I cannot find these in anything but leather. With my size 10 AAA's it isn't easy to find plain old canvas tennis shoes that actually fit. I have a pair in the black leather, but would go to great lengths to get a couple of pairs in the white fabric.

Comfort Plus!
I have a very hard time finding shoes, as I am arthritic, and I couldn't find a pair that didn't rub against my toes or squeeze on the sides or that the leather didn't feel like a rock against my foot. Well, these shoes don't do any of that! I plan to buy more!

Looking for Comfort.
I've had this type shoe for the last five years. I look for comfort and durability in shoes because I'm on my feet about 16 hours a day. I do agree with others that they wear out too quickly. I have to buy at least 3 pair a year, as I have to wear them every day and for so long. I also wish I could find them on sale once in a while.

The most relaxing shoe there is!
This is a great shoe for comfort. I have owned 5 pairs of this shoe. The only trouble that I have had is that they wear out really fast if you wear them constantly. I love these shoes.

Thank goodness I ordered a half size larger than my several-years-old pair. They do fit, but I could have probably ordered a full size up. I also ordered a medium width which seems to be smaller than normal. I have worn this style shoe by Easy Spirit for years and have always loved the fact that the back of the heel is not too high. Perhaps the change in fit has to do with the fact that Easy Spirit was purchased by another company.
