Comfortable, but a little snug for the size. Go up a size if there is any question on size.

The fit is excellent, and for walking to appointments and subway in dress slacks, these don't look so out of place like most tennis shoes do. They are comfortable to wear for long periods and my custom orthodics fit perfectly.

I love these shoes! I've been wearing this model for many years, and these are probably my 5th and 6th pairs (I bought 2 pairs). They look and feel great...so comfy!

For years I have been a fan and have worn Easy Spirit shoes in the warmer weather. Recently I discovered my left foot is a half size larger than the right. Shoe stores usually measure only one foot, the right foot, and in my case, the smaller foot. Shoes from stores and from Zappos always were uncomfortable until I learned to measure my own feet, thanks to Zappos' guide on doing it. Now I order the larger sized shoes and find both feet can be comfortable. All this leads up to my happy experience that Easy Spirit shoes always have been comfortable for me, even when I was wearing the smaller shoe size. This style is very flexible, forgiving, and great for walking the sidewalks of Chicago. I find I can walk for at least 2 hours, with no rest, in these shoes. The arch is quite adequate for both feet, the support is excellent. And I like the style; it fits very well with jeans, slacks, and sporty skirts. This is a great and versatile shoe.

My husband bought these shoes for me for Christmas. I have bunions and arthritis in both feet and have a horrible time finding shoes. These shoes are very comfortable and even though I don't usually too much about style, I think they are very stylish and look great with pants for work or casual purposes. The first day of wearing them, I went to a trade show where I walked a lot. The shoes were very comfortable and gave me no problems. Also, the width is true to the size. Not always when we order double wide are the shoes truly that, but these were! The only negative is the arch support. I have very flat feet so that works for me, but I did not feel much is the arch support category.

Very comfortable for my hard-to-fit feet - I wear size 11 wide and these shoes fit beautifully! Comfortable to walk and stand in and good looking too. I definitely recommend!

Easy Spirit - I purchased these shoes for my 92 year old mother and she absolutely loves them. They are comfortable, good support, and looks dressier than most sneakers. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants COMFORT.

The first pair of Easy Spirit AP1 walking shoes were purchased in the year 2000. I've worn them constantly and am STILL wearing them. I use white creme polish, then buff them and they are still good looking. I recently ordered 2 other pairs of shoes from Zappos and had to return them as they weren't as comfortable as my AP1s. Thought I'd try a different style. No good for me. So, I decided to order the Easy Spirit AP1 shoes, in white again. I can't brag about them enough. I have a narrow heel, and the shoe fits me perfectly, is so comfortable that I don't even realize I have them on. They are all leather and my feet do not get hot in them. I have a spinal problem, and these shoes seem to give me the proper footing that I need to keep my balance. Thank you for sending these wonderful shoes to me so quickly. I still wear my 8 year old ones, and use my new ones when I go out with a nice pant suit, and, of course, they are nicer looking and not stretched out a little like my older ones. Best buy in my opinion!

The perfect shoe/sneaker - Everything I wear is with comfort in mind. I have been wearing this same style and make sneaker for years, and have them in black for winter and dress, white for summer and casual and blue and beige for fashion. I like being "sure footed". No one ever notices that they are "sneakers", they go with all my clothes. Accept of course formal wear. Thanks to AP1.

Tai Chi shoes - These shoes were recommended to me by my Taichi/Qigong teacher, for wearing in class. They are perfect... light, comfortable, yet stable and won't mar the floors. I use them only for this purpose, but I probably will get another pair for other parts of my life.

Joan's thoughts - I bought these shoes in white and they are very comfortable and fit fine. I have trouble with my feet but can wear these all day without worry. My husband bought some shoes and he, also, is very pleased with his purchase.

Mom's favorite shoes - My Mom purchased this type of shoe about three years ago and we have been unable to find them since that time. We were repeatedly told "We don't make that style anymore." As she has a problem with her feet (pain) these were the only comfortable shoes for her. She had washed them many times and continued to wear them although they were beginning to "show the signs of time." She was thrilled that I could find her a pair in her size in both black and white. They were to be a Christmas present but she is already wearing and enjoying them. Thanks!!

Sheer Comfort - I have gone through 4 pairs of this style and now am ready to order another pair. This is the only tennis type shoe I can wear and it’s because of the strip down the front. There is no seam across the toes. I love this style and as long as you make them this is what I will buy…I wear a size 5.5M or 6N. You should do a Pink in this style.

I’m Going to Vegas - I bought this shoe for my first trip to Vegas, twelve years ago. It was a very comfortable shoe and we did a lot of walking. About every two years we go again and I get a new pair. Now we are going again and I have nice new dazzling white ones for the trip. Old ones have moved to the basement for gardening shoes. Love Zappos, I wear a size l1 and they usually have just what I want.

Easy spirit AP1 - I am extremely pleased with everything about my order with Zappos, I was unable to find the shoe I wanted in the stores & you had it. It was very easy to order, I received the order in 4 days (including weekend), and I love Free Shipping both ways. The shoes fit perfectly & were exactly what I wanted. Price was good as well

Long lasting comfort - I need to replace my pair of these after 4 years of serious walking and working on cement floors with weekly machine washing yet; they finally are starting to wear. Put them on the day I got them and did tourist stuff in D.C. all day. Found I use them for almost everything short of evening wear...

Great comfortable walking shoes - I wear a lot of Black clothes and I have always wanted a black comfortable sneaker for casual wear. These shoes are perfect for my needs. They are a little dressier than most sneakers; they are soft and so comfortable. They just hug my feet. I fell in love with these shoes from the moment I put my feet in them.

Your "everyday" tennis shoe- A nice walking shoe that looks good with shorts. Sleek and clean look. Not heavy or bulky. I have been wearing this shoe for many years. Good quality. I wear between a 6-1/2 and 7. The 6-1/2 fits perfect. Feels good with or without socks. A very nice everyday tennis shoe.

I've worn this shoe for years and love it! Easy Spirit now makes it in canvas (AP2) and it's even better because it's so light, you don't even know you have it on!!
