Easy Spirit AP1 - I have been wearing this shoe for many years. I found that I could not buy it at retail stores. I ordered white, because my other shoes looked as if the leather was rubbed out. Much to my delight I looked at the Zappos website and found that I could order this shoe. I appreciated your quick service. Since I have worn this shoe in a variety of colors, I knew the fit would be good. The shoe fit properly. I know I will order more shoes from Zappos.

I have just gone from a N to M and it seemed too long. I think an 8M would have fit better than the 8 1/5 M

I have very narrow feet. I could have made them work but the cushion and support were not there so decided to pass.

I like these very much and would have given them a star review except for the fact that the insoles are not glued in. Normally this would not be big issue but for some reason these insoles come completely out of the shoe every time I take the off the shoe and they are difficult to fit back in correctly. After wearing them for a couple of hours the insoles seem to shift perceptibly. I can't seem to find a glue that will keep those insoles in place.

They're too tight and not true to size or width. I believe they may also have been a previous return as they don't look brand new - weren't packaged as new either.

I agree with the other comments, this shoe is odd, it's my usual size (6.5M), but a little long and the width at the toe box tapers too much, so it's uncomfortable; Easy Spirit is usually a pretty comfortable shape, it doesnt have to fashionable. Going back.

Uncomfortable foot bed-not enough padding. Leather creased across toe as I walked, which was painful.

fit and size is good. the insole is a bit hard but I like the zero drop and I've worn these since I was in college because it allows me to walk naturally. the insole could be softer but it's a decent shoe for housecleaning and weight lifting at the gym. I wouldn't walk far or run due to lack of arch support.

These felt at least 1/2 size larger. It was hard to tell if they might have been a full size too large. That might be why they seemed to come too high on my feet. Returned them. They are nice and soft and lightweight...wish they had fit me better.

Could use a narrower shoe. Will have to buy heel inserts. Ordered a narrow....not quit enough. Will keep.

These shoes looked cuter in the pics than in person. The white is brighter than it appeared in the photos.

This shoe just did not fit my foot. The toe box was not comfortable and the way it wrapped my ankle at the top was not comfortable either. Something about it was just "off". I returned these and kept the Naturalizer. Musch better fit.

Width on these shoes was perfect. Only problem I had was my heel kept slipping out of them. Had to return.

Bought these for my Mother. Nice shoes, but too large in the heel. Thanks Zappos for the easy return.

I haven't worn Easy Spirit shoes in years, but I remember their walking shoes always fit well, so I was disappointed to find that the shoe was a half-size too short for my 7.5 N foot. Will return them and re-order in an 8N

These are nice shoes, but ran a little large. I purchased a size 7M and I could easily put my index finger between the heel of my foot and the heel of the shoe--Not sure if a half size would work---going on vacation and no time to play with size.

I've been looking for some comfortable shoes for city walking, etc. Most sneakers seem to have little if any arch support so I was glad to find these -- until I tried them on. They are more appropriate for exercise walking than more general uses, and are not stylish at all. I'm approaching senior citizen status but I don't want to look like a little old lady. Why can't we get sneakers that look sharp, have wide insteps, and decent arch support? Anyway, these have gone back. The search continues.

OK shoes but my feet was sore after my 10 hours shift.

My heel slipped so much my socks wouldn't stay up. I knew in an hour these were not the shoes for me. I have tumors on the bottom of my foot and nerve damage on the top so finding a shoe that feels good is getting almost impossible. Unfortunately this one was not it.

wear a size 6 and have a very narrow heel but regular width across the front of my foot and a bit of a high arch. I was looking for a lightweight pair of walking shoes as my primary shoes for a trip overseas. It is very hard to find narrow shoes for small feet. I ordered a 6 2A and was very hopeful that these shoes would do the trick. Unfortunately I was disappointed. They are very lightweight and do have some cushion but, for my feet, they have no support. Also, the narrow is not just in the heel but also across the width of the toe box. The length of the shoe felt fine and laced up my heel did not slip but. However, even if I had bought these for normal use (meaning not walking all day every day), the toe box across was just too narrow as to be uncomfortable. I was also looking for something that would not be slippery in the rain. The middle section of the outer sole has a slight wavy pattern for that purpose, but I'm not convinced that they would offer much traction. I am sure that these shoes would be great for some women. They just were not the ticket for me so they will be getting returned. I ended up getting a pair of lightweight Trotters boots in narrow which were fantastic.

I thought this shoe was okay length-wise for the size I ordered. It felt very roomy for a Med and even with a heavy sock the heel slipped a lot. If it hadn't been a lace-up I would have just walked out of it. But I don't think a smaller size would have worked because the length seemed okay. It is just flat on the inside -- no arches -- but if you have an orthotic you probably don't care.

I didn't like the way they looked on my foot; plus, they pressed down hard on my big toes. They're going back.

These shoes were okay, but I thought they looked a bit old fashioned. They also seemed to run a bit who although the width was perfect for my very narrow foot.

I'm disappointed in this shoe. The "w" seems accurate all over except in the heel which is more like a "www". The back of the shoe gaps out in an ugly way. Didn't send back as they will do for yard shoes but are pretty expensive for that. Can't imagine what their designers were thinking.

I have worn these sneakers for years. They are light weight, and comfortable right out of the box. The only complaint is that they get out of shape extremely fast. Due to the comfort, I guess I don't seem to mind, as I have very touchy feet.
