These shoes were amazingly comfortable when I first got them -- a must have when working on your feet for 12+ hours a day. However, for the price I expected them to last longer. After wearing them regularly for a little over a year, the insides are completely deteriorating! The shoes are also coming apart at the seams. I've purchased cheap shoes that lasted this long so I had high expectations for something of this price. I need to replace the shoes so I think I'll be looking into a different brand. I wouldn't recommend them. Also, the egg-crate material does provide comfort but also seems to absorb moisture/odor -- these shoes stink. I understand feet & shoes aren't known for smelling wonderful, but I have to keep these things in the garage! This has never happened with any pair of shoes I've ever owned, so I'm wondering if it's just me?

Some have said this shoe runs really small so I ordered a full size up but it was huge. I think what happened in the others cases is the shoe size was mis-marked inside the shoe. I didn't love the look of this shoe either - kind of matronly and I like a little higher wedge than this had.

Cute shoes that look like a low-profile clog. Based on all the great reviews, I had high hopes for these shoes. While they fit me perfectly, these shoes have no arch support at all. The cushioning from the egg-crate foot bed is like walking on clouds but it offers zero support or stability. My foot needs a firmer, more stable sole, which this shoe is lacking. The toe-box is a little wide which worked well with my foot. All around I really liked these shoes but the lack of arch support actually pulled at my arch within a couple minutes of putting them on. The insole cannot be removed, otherwise I may have kept them and tried a more supportive insole.

I really loved these shoes. The footbed feels like a pillow and they're joyous, HOWEVER, the sizing is crazy! I tried the 8.5 based on the other reviews but they were definitely too big. I then tried the 8 but they were too short and my toes were hitting the end. A real shame, they were so comfy.

These are comfortable shoes. The soft leather stretches as they break in. For me, I wish the footbed was a little less squishy. The arch support is fine. I will keep them, but they aren't my favorites.

Comfy, but the top edge of the shoe was much closer to the toe than I expected, and looked goofy. Had to order a half size up to get the right fit.

I really wanted to keep these shoes. They were so comfortable. I tried two sizes and neither fit as it should have. They were too big, then too small. A big difference in only a 1/2 size. Sizing seems off. Sadly I had to return.

These shoes are comfortable. However, they do not fit as well as I would like and the fit varies depending on the color. The black shoes (same size and width) fit well but the heel is a bit too wide in Taupe.

These shoes definitely run at least a 1/2 size shorter than most. I really liked the feel of the inner sole and the soft leather upper, but when I reordered the next size up, I found the heel slid up and down with every step. Sadly, I've had to give up on this style.

Softwalk shoes have always fit me perfectly, except for this shoe. My normal size is 8ww, which was way too short in this stype & so was the 8 1/2 ww. Not sure what happened, but this shoe does not work for me.

It's my feet, isn't it? This was way too tight across the instep and felt much shorter than the size. The cushioning is fabulous but the shoe is much "clunkier" looking in person than in the photo. The photo makes it look more elongated; it is not!

Beautiful shoe, perfect color of navy, cushy insides, maybe too cushy? Toe box a tiny bit narrow. I wanted them to work so badly, but something was stopping me from wearing them! Sadly, I must send back.

My feet are very wide (7.5 or 8EE, EEE would fit better!). The shoes (size 8EE) were too tight across the bridge and slid in the heels. But I loved the cushy foot bed.

Not as comfortable as previous Softwalk purchases - I have purchased 5 other pair of Softwalks over the couple years. They are all quite comfortable and holding up well. This shoe does not compare. There is no feeling of support and the innersole (which is the hallmark of the product) is not as comfortable as it is in shoes over a year old.

Looking for a comfortable shoe - OK it is not real stylish, it is however pretty comfortable. I have a wide foot and while the front of the shoe is comfortable, the heel slips. I have never tired an insert before so I may go to that. If that works the shoe will be great and will definitely work when I am on my feet all day.

Didn't work for me - I tried a couple different styles and sizes of these shoes, and I wanted to like them, but after a few days I put them away. The sole is nice and cushy, and the front of the shoe fit great but the back kept eating my socks. That drives me crazy! Changing sizes did not help.

Soft but sore - I really like the look of these shoes... They are a very good quality shoe that I wish I could keep them. I didn't see the suggestion to get a half size bigger so my toes kept hitting the front. I will return them and order a half size up and see. The bottom is like a bed mattress literally. It does make a swoosh when you step.

Not my best pair of SoftWalk - This is my third pair of SoftWalk Brand shoes. This pair actually ran a half size too big, so I had to exchange it. Once I got the correct size, the shoes tended to cut across the top of my foot. I had them stretched. They were better until I wore them at work for the first time and then they started rubbing. Finally got them broken in and they are great. I have never had to break in a pair of SoftWalk before.

Really Wanted to Like This Shoe - I really wanted to like these shoes, I thought they looked super cute online, but I found them terribly uncomfortable to walk it. The soft cushioning at the bottom of the shoe feels very nice, but as I walked, and the cushioning compressed and decompressed, it caused my foot to move enough in the shoe, that my heels would rub painfully against the back. The shoes also felt a bit tight overall, so the size and fit certainly wasn't an issue. Unfortunately I had to return them, they just weren't worth the price tag for that amount of discomfot.

They stay in my closet. They look comfortable but they hurt when I walk a lot.

A Bit Disappointed - When first putting on Softwalk's Adora, I was in heaven. The padding inside of the shoe felt like clouds and the width of the shoe was perfect. As the day wore on, however; I found that the back of the shoe rubbed against my heels and I wound up with blisters on both feet. Sad.

Hard to Fit - Although I loved the look of the shoe, it was too small and too tight. Did not think it was double wide -- simply wide. Would recommend going a half to one size larger thank normal. On the plus side however, upon calling customer service return was a snap. Zappos was EXTREMELY helpful.

I agree with some of the other reviewers that the instep is too low and leaves my foot bruised. (I have narrow feet but have never had problems with insteps before) For some reason they also pinch my little toes, even though the toebox is quite wide. I can wear them for short periods, but they become very uncomfortable after long wearing and extensive walking.

Adora black leather - I love the look. Although I bought 2 pairs of these and my baby toe on the right foot is pinched in both pairs. I should note that I have long slender feet. I am inclined now to think it's the shoe and not my feet.

Not for a high instep - This shoe is cute and would have been extremely comfortable except that I have a high instep. The vamp of the shoe rubbed my instep raw! The leather is very soft and I am stretching out the vamp to accommodate my high instep. If you don't have a high instep, this probably would feel very comfortable.
