Chicopee is a hit! Although I can't say first hand, the Chicopee appears to be a smash hit. With his having a narrow foot, I have never been able to find the perfect houseshoe for my husband, until now. These were the "favorite" gift and have hardly been off his feet when he is out of his street shoes. In addition, Zappos is wonderful! In placing my order, I inadvertently scrolled down and changed my size choice. One quick call to Zappos made the correction and the shoes arrived the next day. I won't forget the wonderful customer service or the quality purchase. Thanks!

Dad's Slippers - The slippers were delivered much faster than I expected. Since they are the same slipper my father (age 91) has worn for the last 40 years or so, I am sure they will be just fine. He doesn't get them until Christmas, though!

Sizes - I am currently trying to wear a Evans Chicopee slipper in size 8.5 EEE - It is much too wide so I ordered a 8.5 Medium - Much too narrow - don't they make a simple wide width? Been wearing this slipper for 40 years

I'm pretty hard on slippers. Because of a foot condition, I wear them a great deal-inside, outside, to the store, even out to dinner. For me, comfort is the most important thing. I have several pairs of one kind or another and these are among the most comfortable. I only wish they came in a darker color, but they look nice and wear well.

Had ordered both a 10 1/2 and 11 since didn't know how would fit. The size 10 1/2 fit fine. Returning the size 11. Wish the sole would be studier.

Awesome shoe. These run a tad big so don’t order bigger that your normal size. Helps prevent sore feet and cracked heels from going barefoot in the house.

I have been wearing these exact slippers for 55-60 years. Very comfortable. The quality over the years has diminished, however, ever since the manufacturing process went to China. Both the bottom material and the stitching around the bottom are inferior and will wear out or come loose within 18 months or less. Prior to being manufactured in China, these slippers held up for 4-5 years. Additionally, I never wear these slippers outside on harsh surfaces. So they are not subjected to any abuse, nevertheless the material does not hold up. I wish L. B. Evans would listen and change their materials and quality control.

Overall, these are my favorite men's slippers. I've purchased about 5 or 6 pairs so far. They feel comfortable and hold up well (mostly). However, I have to order a larger size. My shoe size is 9 1/2 to 10 wide. I have to order 11 EEE to wear these slippers. I also use an orthodic shoe insert for better arch and heel comfort. These slippers last about 4 to 6 months before I have to order new ones. This is because the sole material begins to fray and tear. (I only wear these slippers indoors.) If L.B. Evans used a better sole material, it would save me the trouble of buying these slippers so often. I'll keep buying this slipper brand until something better comes along. BTW, Zappos service, support, and policies are outstanding.

I have worn these slippers for several years. Now Zappos is the best place to find them.

My 87 year old father has two pairs of these and wears them daily as his "indoor shoes." Easy to slip on and very comfortable. Only shortcoming is that the soles wear out in about a year.

I bought these as a gift for my father and he was quite pleased. The shoes are sturdier than a traditional house shoe, but quite comfortable.

Nearly Perfect - This shoe looks great, feels great and fits great. The only issue is an annoying squeak in the right shoe that I haven't figured out. Seems to be coming from the cushioned heel.

My "Comfort" Slipper - I've been wearing the L. B. Evans slipper for over 20 years and would be lost without it. Maybe I should try something different?

A classic look - For those who want a slipper that has a classic, clean good look and feel. No hard rubber sole, fleece lining, or floppy leather.

L. B. Evans Chicopee narrow widths run very wide - The Chicopee is attractive but sized incorrectly. I have a very narrow foot, so I ordered N (AA)width. It proved to be more a B or C width. Certainly much wider than an AA.

Comfort Zone - I really like the slippers. My problem is that my feet are a full size different, and so for the left one to not be too tight, the right one slips. That isn't really the fault of the slipper, but it is the effect, nonetheless.

The width of the shoes are more in the rear of the shoe. The width should be more in the front of the shoe across the toes. The front of the shoe feels tighter than it should be. Add more width to the front and decrease it at the back of the ankle.

The big issue with these slippers is durability. I bought two pairs in the past year - and with BOTH pairs after 3 months - the heels wore through! They are comfortable, size is right but clearly there are some quality issues.

These slippers did not hold up. The heel wore out, and the inside sole bunched up almost immediately. No more.

Okay, Where seams come together, the slipper bothers me, but I have very sensitive feet.

My husband loved the slippers and we were happy with everything but the soles. THEY WORE OUT IN 3 MONTHS. The slippers were never worn outside except maybe to the porch where the garbage can and recycle cans are. The body of the slippers still look great but the soles are worn out completely..

I am sorry to say that these slippers are most uncomfortable. The inner slipper has an annoying two-level 'lining' (not at all soft) that results in my wanting to remain barefooted. They sit on a shelf in my closet where they shall remain.

Finally a slipper that fits - My dad is really enjoying the slippers. He has a very wide foot. These are working out great for him.
