Birkenstock shoe was true to size but due to a bunion on one foot it took a couple of days to break in the shoes. Zappos is a great place to due business because they truly aim to please! If only all my shoes were like Zappos.

I have always wanted a pair of Birkenstock and have read many reviews on various styles (even purchased another pair online and had to send back due to sizing). I have had these about a month now and they’re still uncomfortable. I have a very narrow foot, which is one reason why I purchased these. Have trouble with these at the outer little toe area, hopefully they will become more comfortable as I wear them. I also have lots of problems with my feet and back anyway, so thought these might help. We'll see. Like the style and color (navy).

Comfy Birks - First time wearing Birkenstocks. I wore them in the house for a few days and found them to be very comfortable. Excellent support and my feet don't hurt. I now wear them out whenever I wear sandals. Will be buying more Birks in the future! I normally wear a 10 and first ordered the 41 (10-10.5), but returned them for a 40 (9-9.5) which fit better. The tips of my toes rested on the toe bar with the 41 instead of being just below my toes. Love Zappos speedy shipping usually receive the next day!! Amazing.

Waiting for it to soften and conform - I purchased my first Birks through Zappos after trying some on in a local store. I do like them but it seems to be taking a while for them to soften and conform to my feet. I hear that after they do that I will not want to take them off!

Not for everyone - Let me begin by saying I have plantar fasciitis in both feet. These came so highly recommended that I decided to give them a try. I had a hard time getting the straps adjusted to my feet. By the second day, my feet felt so bruised on the bottom, I could not wear them any more. They felt like the arch was in the wrong place. I googled this brand and plantar fasciitis and found a doc who says they work well for some and not at all for others. Perhaps these shoes would have helped to prevent my foot problems if I had started wearing them earlier in life...for me; Born has given me more relief. Zappos was, as always, a top notch customer service oriented company.

They sent me the wrong shoes. The Florida Birko-Flor pictured has teh three straps and they send me a larger size that had two straps and not leather.

I have been wearing Birkenstock sandals for many years. They are the most comfortable sandals, offer great support. Thank you Birkenstock for keeping my feet happy.

I have been wearing Birkenstocks for years. The three-strap models look slightly more attractive than the wide, two-straps, but I've always worn them for comfort, not looks. I recently wore a ratty old black suede pair to the salon and the young women stylists gave me compliments! I can't believe that these things are becoming trendy now, but glad,'cause it means more styles/colors are becoming available. I bought these Floridas in silver steel as a last minute alternative to take on an Italian/Sardinian vacation--intending to wear them solely to the beach. Turns out I worn them more than any other pair of shoes or sandals I brought, both at the beach and in the city. While I normally prefer the soft footbed, these were comfortable right out of the box. I wore them loosely for a few days and then tightened the straps and it gave my feet a whole new burst of energy. I was surprised by how many miles I put on these in a day and my feet didn't hurt. The shiny metal gave me a little bling (with lots of black and grey clothing) and I didn't have to worry about them getting wet. And they look good with all sorts of nail polish colors. I'm going to order a backup pair. Worth every penny!

These are really fun. I've gotten lots of comments on them. The first pair I received had a big scratch on the side of one of the shoes. I contacted Zappos and they quickly sent me a replacement pair. Thanks Zappos!

I own many pairs of Birkenstock sandals, most of them in the Florida style. All of them are wonderful, but this pair in magenta patent leather is the most fun of all.

I ordered these Birkenstocks on Zappos.com and I just love them! I looked around and found them to have the best pricing with free shipping and free returns which sealed the deal! I will definitely order from them again.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. The Magenta Steel is a gorgeous color. I have been wearing mine for a week now and both feet have an itch rash from rubbing on the top strap. I am not sure if this would happen with the soft leather. But I am not happy with this buy!
