Worn them for one day and love them! I wear a women's US 7.5 and ordered this boot first in a UK5...the delivery was fantastic -I received my shoes earlier than expected. But they were definitely too big. So I went and printed out a UPS mailing label on Zappos' site and their entire return process worked fantastic. And when I needed my exchange pair shipped to WA instead of CA, their Customer Service department responded very quickly and it wasn't a problem at all. I will definitely buy from Zappos again. As far as the shoes go -I love them and can't believe how comfortable they are, considering that I've only worn them for a day. However, I would definitely, definitely recommend ordering them a full size smaller than you think you'll need because they run large. Last, but not least, I'm happy with the price I paid...the same pair at Journeys was $138 and they didn't have the size I needed anyway. All around a very good experience.

These boots are the best and I got them at a great price. I would strongly recomend Docs to anyone. I've had these boots for 6 or 7 months now and they hold up to anything and have saved my toes many times in the pit. I think any Oi! or street punk kid should invest in these boots. Thanks Doc Marten for making this girl happy.

Awesome! My first pair of Docs... I love them!!! As soon as I got them, I put them on and went to practice with my band. They push you to move around when you play! I hope they last a long time and not like other reviews I have read.

Steel toe kicks ass again. This is the steel toe for looks as well as function, I've had Docs for over 25 years and I'll wear nothing else. I have 13 pair and the steel toes are the newest ones on the list. They're comfortable and durable. You need nothing else in life for your feet. -Ol man 36

Great service, great product. 'Found Zappos.com by surfing the web for a cheaper pair of Dr. Martens. 'Found these boots at a great price. Boots were delivered about 5 days after order was placed. I had to return my first pair because I ordered one size too large, but I printed out a return label supplied by Zappos at no cost to me. How great is that?! What place gives you great prices and free shipping/returns!! I highly recommend doing business with this company as well as getting a pair of these boots.

Amazing. Ah, good ol docs. The only bad thing about ordering these shoes are the shoelaces that come with the boots. I find them ugly. So buy some nice shoelaces from your nearest, oh CVS, or K-Mart, and put on some oi! Buy these now. you will never find a better price on a pair of doc martens. I've gotten many compliments on these shoes, and you will too.

nice boots I just bought these boots and man are they sharp. They are actually pretty comfortable cosidering their size and all. These boots are great for turning peoples shins into waffles. I'm sure they'll last a good while.

Don't waste your cash. Doc's used to be of much higher quality. Now the soles aren't even sewed on, they're glued! That's fake stitching you're seeing. They only lasted 6 months for me, then the damn sole was falling apart. I wore them 5 days a week doing masonry work, but they should've lasted longer. Try Gripfast or Gettagrip instead.

I like them. Order them a size smaller because they are a bit bigger. No complaints otherwise.

kickin boots - This is the first pair of Docs I've owned. I have tried out a few styles but sizing was always an issue as they do run a little large, both in length and width. Not something I would backpack in, but just right for a night out at the club, or taking the kids to the soccer game.

They look good, they are as comfortable as boots get. One problem, the left heel has a huge blister on it just from wearing them for 3 hours. I had to last the whole day in them too. But all I did was put like six band-aids on it, and a cotton ball. That works. Other then the blister thing, Doc Martens are the king of boots.

I really like the look of these boots, but I don't know if I would order another pair because the back of the shoes has been giving my heels blisters. Also I don't find them to be water resistant at all. Order a size smaller in the steel toe because they run big.

I honestly thought I'd never buy a pair of boots, but I was wrong. These boots were great. The fit was perfect and the comfort was nice. It took a while to break them in, but once you start wearing them, you never want to wear another pair of shoes. Also, the shipping was fast and FREE.

Great Boots, Scott! Wore them for three years straight. Then rotated them. Then got em fixed where the upper met the lower. Eyelets are poppin out. I've ignored them. But they're good to go on dry days. The meat with the right outfit. And when I get my cherry reds, I'll be fixing these guys up for half-time duty. They lost a star just for the trouble the steel toe caused the rest of the boot over time. I'm debating as to whether my next pair will have them.

I love these boots. They are great skinhead/punk boots and the steel toe can really give you an advantage in a rumble and are great for those pesky rednecks. I own 187 pairs of docs and these are by far the best!

Great looking boot, but looks can be deceiving. I had highly anticipated getting these and was happy when they arrived. Unfortunately, I had to return them due to an annoying creaking noise, every step was creaky where the sole and the leather of the boot meet underneath. I am just wearing these around the house to break them in. Very annoying, and considering how much I paid for these boots, I was not willing to take the risk of seeing if the creaking would go away or not. My guess is the type of leather that is used. I called Zappos and the exchange was not a problem. I now have the 1919 which is what I exchanged the 8761 for, and now the heel is creaking in the 1919. I will probably be returning these also. I do have the 1460 which is probably what I will stick with, no problems so far.

Ow, I hate to be that person, but the old Docs used to be the most comfy thing ever. The new ones hurt too much to give a good review. They fit right and look good like they should and I am still giving them a chance to break in (so long after). Too late to return though, but I'm kind of disappointed. Cost vs comfort is quite inequitable. Hate to say it.

Stiff boots - If you don't like to break your boots in, then these aren't the ones for you. On the other hand they will last forever! These are great looking but very stiff and uncomfortable for a while until broken in.

Did Not Fit! US Mens 8 was too large and a US Mens 7 was too small. To bad they don't offer half sizes. Tongue design of the boot is very bad. It is sewn right to the sides of the boots instead of free floating. This caused the tongue to bunch up inside the boot and created a sore spot on the inside of my foot.
