Run large, order down a size - Second pair of these great boots and I expect this pair to last the many years that the first did. They do run large though and I had to order a full size smaller than normal. And they are a bit stiff for a while until you break them in.

Very Nice - I didn’t mean to get the steel toe boot, but it’s ok. They still look good and are very comfortable. Only took about one week to get the boot worn in. I also got my shoes the very next day. Always nice, I will definitely shop here again.

Excellent boot - I bought my pair of these boots and they were so comfortable and lasted me 7 years. I recommend it to Doc Martens lovers.

A devoted Dr. Marten wearer - I've been wearing Dr. Martens for years now because I love how comfortable they are, particularly for walking. I've worn several different styles and have loved them all. That said the 8761 Series is now my Dr. Marten boot. They required almost no break in time, which is new for their boots in my experience, but probably most important is the fit. I have narrow feet and have trouble fitting shoes satisfactorily. These boots feel like they were made for my feet. A quick note about sizing: I give them perfect fitting marks all around. I think this might hold true if you have narrow feet as well. I can't speak for others. If you want a comfortable rugged boot, this is it.

GREAT BOOTS FOR MOTORCYCLING - I love these boots!!! I had a pair that lasted me about 3 years. Since I ride almost every day I need boots that will last. So I bought them again. These boots will definitely hold up to the toughest of environments. My only complaint is that they are not waterproof.

Great shoes - I was worried about ordering shoes online; that they wouldn’t fit right or feel good, but these boots feel just like my old pair of DM (which I have worn for over 5 years). They do need a break in period, but overall they are perfect! Shop with confidence at Zappos!

Nice and wide! These boots look very tough, but after an easy breaking in, they're as comfy and protective as riding/work boots can be. I love the width, was concerned that only M was offered, but they're great on my C feet. Awesome soles, great ankle support and protection, perfect riding boots.

8761 Series - I ordered at 1pm and they were sitting on my door the next day by 3pm. They were delivered to me in perfect condition. 5 stars to Zappos and always 5 stars to Dr. Martens.

Great shoes! Need a few wears to break in. I love these shoes. They were a fabulous purchase. They did take a couple of wears to feel really comfortable, though. I also had to figure out how to lace them correctly, leaving certain eyelet pairs looser than others.

A little big fellas so put a insole in and it's much better--but overall love them---will order anothr pair in few months.

These are great boots and are very comfortable. The other reviews helped me decide to go with one size smaller than I had decided on. I'm glad I did, since I thought they might be too small, but they fit great.

Absolutely Wonderful. Never have I been so satisfied with all aspects of my purchase. These boots are absolutely a joy to wear, even from the first day I put them on. They look sexy and feel so comfortable and I know that is only the beginning of the breaking in process. Zappos is the absolute best shoe store both online and off. I ordered my boots last night for 4 to 5 days and I got them over night because I was a returning customer. Great work Zappos!

Excellent Boots - These are the most comfortable footwear I have ever been fortunate enough to wear! Contrary to what others say, mine where not uncomfortable the first few days I wore them; the break in process does not exist, they where great out of the box. There is only one problem; the toe scuffs really easy. I was careful because I was afraid of ruining them, but the slightest touch mars the toe and polish does not cover it up. Other than that, they’re perfect. Overall, I give it a 9.5 out of ten.

Amazing as Usual - I've been wearing docs for years and once again there were no disappointments! I owned a pair from this series about 10 years ago. Now it seems they have improved on the design a bit where the leather is a bit firmer. Also the sole is all black now, which looks great. Sizing is still true to U.K., despite overseas construction/assembly. These will last forever! Especially with regular application of Dr. Martens polish!

Kicking - These boots are great! They look good and only take in a few days to break in. I recommend polishing them before wearing and also wearing them with thicker socks. They're pretty roomy and can be a little rough on the back of your heel.

These boots are great for everything from looking cool to kicking ice.

Great Product and Service - We ordered these boots for our son for Christmas. We received them two days after we ordered them. And because we were unsure of the Dr. Marten's sizing, we ordered the wrong size. But the return process was hassel free. We received the right size within a week after returning. This is a great service and great product they provide. Keep up the great work, Zappos!

Zappos is the place to shop! My son has never been so satisfied with the quality and durability of these shoes. I recently purchased a pair of shoes as a holiday present for him. Great shoes, great service! As always Dr. Martens are the best. They may take a few days to break in, but in the end they are so comfortable. I currently own 3 pairs, one of them sandals, and I absolutely love them. My last pair of their boots lasted about 4 years, and I wore them all the time.

Doc Martin Boots - These boots are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned and used. I wouldn't take them off at night if I didn't have to.

Factory chic - I *love* these boots. Terrible to attempt breaking in, but well worth the effort when you do! Much more stylish than the popular Doc 8-eyelet in my opinion. These look great with boot-cut jeans or a knee-length skirt!

GREAT BUY - I bought these boots for my husband for Christmas. They look good and he says they are very comfortable. If he could keep them on all the time he would. It was most definitly a great buy. And at a good price.
