Canadian customer, very fast delivery, quality product that fits TRUE TO SIZE, lengthy but simple return process. All in all a good online experience. Obviously, you like how these boots look. In my opinion, they are very comfortable as well. Please note that they fit TRUE TO SIZE. Do not buy them one size small if you've heard they fit large. I would recommend buying your regular size. I made the mistake of buying a size too small. The return process was very simple and easy, but after one month my return had still not been processed. I emailed Zappos, and my return was promptly processed the very next day. Recommendation: Great boots. Zappos is a safe and easy shopping experience, even for Canadian customers.

Great boots, really comfortable, and great for any weather. I went with the Black Nappa and they ended up being really soft, nice leather and felt broken in the minute I got them. I wear a size 10.5 and initially ordered an 11, but sent them back for a 10 which felt great. Definitely a great pair of boots, will last me awhile and look great.

This is the first pair of Docs I've bought in about 10 years. It's good to have them back on my feet! I know that some reviewers have said that there is a lengthy break-in period, but for me these boots felt great right out of the box! Over the course of a week they molded to my foot and now they are just incredible. I wear them every day to work (I own a restaurant) and I'm on my feet 12 to 16 hours a day, 6 or 7 days a week. They are a blessing to my feet, and I know they'll last me many years. They were a great buy!

I'm not sure if there's anyone left who doesn't know Dr Martens are incredibly comfy (bouncy soles) and sturdy. I bought these for my daughter in nyc. She loves them,look great, and hold up under tons of walking all over the city! As always zappos was wonderful! We exchanged these shoes for color and not only did I get free overnight shipping back and forth, my credit card was only billed once! No double billing while we waited for the exchange to go through! Talk about above and beyond! Thanks Zappos!

These aren’t shiny, nor are they the roughed up leather. They are that perfect blend of between. You will need insoles for arch support.

AAAH the world famous 1460!! These are by far my favorite pair of boots I have. I have trouble putting into words the joy that washes over me after work when I lace these babies up, the quality is impeccable, the fit is second to none, and the cool factor is through the roof. I usually wear a 9.5 in most US boots, so I went up to the 10 US and they have enough room to put a nice work style comfort insole in and not be too snug. I also wear the seven eye Icon to work and even after wearing them all day, I still look forward to wearing these boots as my after work footwear.

I ordered this in navy blue on Thursday morning, and received it the next morning! That was extremely pleasing to me, and shipping was for free! That was a great selling point for me to buy from Zappos. However aside from Zappos, the boot itself was a little less comfortable than I had imagined. If you’re not going to wear long socks, or tuck your pants into the shoe, the tongue (when brand new) may start wearing at the skin on your shins. Other than that, the color is great, and I was also happy to see it came w/ optional yellow laces in the box, because it adds some extra flavor!

I order at 2pm and got my boots by noon the next day. i knew exactly what i wanted - the shoes arrived where what i expected. i couldn't be more pleased with the speed of shipping, customer service (i.e. you can send them back at no cost) and it was the best price around. i told everyone i know about the site and will order from here in the future.

Well, I got these as a Christmas present and with them I received Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam. I applied the balsam and then went hunting, which involved walking through snow for about 5 hours. My feet stayed warm and dry! I was very impressed! They are light and comfortable to wear all day long. I was really surprised that my feet stayed dry in the snow, especially the next day as it had begun melting and was very wet. These are fantastic and I highly recommend them!

As always, Dr. Martens quality is top notch. Got these and put them right on before I went to work. I work 12 hour days, 6 days a week and I need a boot that fits well and holds up to some damage. These felt like they were already broken in after the 2nd hour I was wearing them. They are awesome, and I highly recommend them!

I ordered these shoes for a Christmas present. It was not a rush order, however, I received them the very next day! The shoes were packed nicely and were brand new. This was as easy as it gets. I love Dr. Marten boots and shoes. The Dr. Marten 1460 has become a staple in my footwear wardrobe. They're comfortable, last a long time and never go out of fashion. After a few wears they form to your foot which totally personalizes them even more. Another plus is being able to buy them from Zappos!

Great boots! Some reviewers report sizing issues; I did not experience that at all. They are true to size. They are not "the most comfortable boots ever", but they are comfortable. I found that they did require a few days of break-in, so give them a little time. Would certainly buy another pair when needed.

Purchased my first pair of Dr. Martens more than 10 years ago. Love them and still wearing them. I originally purchased locally and wanted to buy more, but couldn't find them anywhere. Then I found this website and was amazed they had what I wanted with more options. When it came to the choices, I needed to contact customer service. The gentleman was very helpful and friendly. He helped me choose the right color and finish I wanted. I order two pairs and they arrived exactly as described and on time. Thank you Zappos!

As usual Zappos has given me good service on products that I like. I have not bought shoes anywhere else for over 3 years and I wear out a lot of shoes and while they are still good I give them to people in Vietnam who are less fortunate than myself. In many places I travel people could use good shoes so I buy more than I need so I can give somebody a pair they could not otherwise afford.

These are great boots. They killed my feet for the first week, but that is because they are good quality leather. Now that I've broken them in, they are very comfortable. The navy color is great. Keep in mind the UK versus US shoe sizes. I wear a US size 11.5 or 12, and I got the UK size 11 and they fit great. These shipped very quickly, and they were exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

I bought these for my 20 year old son for Christmas. He absolutely loves them and has only taken them off to sleep. They are very comfortable and "cool" looking, and his favorite gift this year.

Another awesome boot from Dr. Marten. The treads are great for keeping me on my feet in the snow. Hopefully this pair will last me 12 years as my previous pair did. Well worth the time it takes to break them in.

These shoes are still the same after all these years. They're the best in the snow and the rain. They stick to the ice like glue. It takes a while for the foot bed to conform to your foot, but once it does you'll never want to take these off. They run a little big, so wear thick socks and you'll be OK.

I ordered a pair of Dr. Marten 1460 off Zappos. Not really sure what to expect, I was a bit hesitant to place my order from the internet. Then my worries came true. The package that was supposed to be delivered didn't make it or got lost. I called the same night and spoke to a customer service representative and explained what happened. Not only did she send me a replacement pair, it was delivered to my door the next day. Talk about wow, excellent customer service. Oh by the way, the product is great, fits really well and you can expect more orders from me in the future.

I ordered these boots the week of my birthday with no intentions of actually receiving them in time. When they arrived about 4 or 5 days after I ordered them, I was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, I discovered that the size I ordered was too big, and I was reluctant to send them back just because I wanted to wear them immediately. When I finally worked up the nerve to call the Zappos help line, the person I spoke to was extremely courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. She made me a V.I.P. member and informed me that my new shoes would be sent to me the following day. I couldn't believe it! I grew up in London where the only place to get DMs was at a place called Shellys in Camden Town, North London. This part of London (and to an extent today) was a rough and gritty area of mods, rockers, bikers, punks,and everything else. It was brilliant. I wore DMs, all my teen years for the aggressive look and attitude they gave off. They still have that feel and look. Now I wear them for their comfort and aggro look. The boots don't need breaking in like the early years. They fit a tad too big, so I just wear heavier socks. I still get a lot of look and comments. They last for years. Great company and great shoes.
