20+ years of same boot style - I purchased my first pair over 20 years ago in London. They have been all over the world with me, Asia, The USA, all of Europe, Eastern Europe, and still are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. ( I have bought over 15 pair by now..) My only gripe to date is the last pair I bought, in LONDON no less, were made in CHINA??? Whats up with that? The leather and fit were completely different than what the UK mfg. Doc's were. But, after a quick trip to a hot shower, and a complete breakdown with saddle soap, shaving creme and the a slight spit shine with Kiwi polish, they are quite comfortable. ( Damn Marines never wear a pair of boots out of a box, we always break them down, and repolish!~ smiles ) Just wish they were made in UK still, hate to buy Chinese!

Best ever!!! These are my 6th pair. I love these shoes. Very comfortable. I recommend to all!!

First official pair of Docs - I decided on these boots because I have been wanting a pair of Docs for years, but never could find a style I liked in any stores. I know these are among the originals and I prefer a simple, classy, basic look to my shoes. I just got them and they're pretty stiff, and a little loose feeling through the ankle. I could probably have used a half size down but obviously don't have half sizes. I think I'm going to love them once they break in. They look great, just as pictured. I've read many other rave reviews here, and figure that I'll give it a shot and keep 'em!

So Happy! The last pair of Doc's I had lasted me for almost four year's. I found them again on this site and was so happy. Amazing price for these boot's! That was the only thing stopping me from buying another pair before now. I didn't want to spend the money other sites and store's wanted for them. I recieved my boot's today and couldn't be happier. I just have to break them in. Only downfall is no half size's. I can deal with that though to have another pair of my beloved Doc's!

Still the best! I am about to order my 5th pair in 15 years. I wear them every single day. I still have every pair. It takes me about three years to wear the sole almost out. Usually have to put new pair of strings on before then. The price that Zappos sells them for can't be beat. Get the balm when you buy a pair... helps break them in faster. One of these days I am going to try out one of the new style boats. Which Zappo's sold the shoe strings.

Hard to break in - Firstly.. wonderful service from zappos! I got my order cross country in less than 24 hrs! I didn't even ask for fast shipping. Downside is that they fit great in the foot...but once wearing I developed a nasty hole in my right heel. I'm on my feet all day and have to wade through grease n miscl.I'm gonna still try to break em in though as I need a good boot for work this winter.

still the best.....ever! I have owned two pairs of Dr. martens boots in myu life once in my late teens, and again in my mid tweenties. Now I am in my early 30's and looking to purchace another pair..and possible a pair of the more dress style for the office. Dr. martens have been one of those constants in my life that keep me contected to my youth. They are still the best...ever!.

Dr. Martens's boots get my vote! First pair of shoes I've purchased on line and I was totally satisfied. They fit perfect. My left foot squeeked when I walked but I loosened the shoe lace and it quit. I was impressed of the quick shipment. I received the shoes in less than 48hrs. I definitely will shop at Zappos again.

Excellent Shoes, Excellent Service - My second purchase of Dr. Martens through Zappos.com and I could not be more pleased. The boots are awesome, bringing back memories of my blue "Docs" with the rainbow coloured welting and laces ;).

Great!!! I purchased this exact model 10 years ago and finally decided it was time for a new pair. I searched all the local stores and malls and none had this exact model. Zappos had it and shipped it to me within 2 days!

They are now made in China. I do not mind spending the extra money to get quality, but if they are going to charge full hit (100-plus) and have them made in China instead of England then they can keep them and I will spend a little more money and buy American. No slam on the product itself or Zappos. The 1460's that I ordered looked and felt just like every other set I have owned, except for the made in China label. The service I received from the fine people at Zappos was absolutely first rate. If I am going to spend the big bucks I will go with an American manufacturer.

Great value for a great pair of boots - Zappos has the best prices for the best pair of boots that I have ever owned. I will keep purchasing these boots from Zappos for the price and service.

A little too big

Fit perfectly right out of the box without many of the usual Doc Marten break-in issues. The cherry red color is gorgeous and really adds a nice pop of color to an outfit!

I bought these boots for my son. He really likes them so far. I am not so sure if I like the smooth leather as much as the regular Dr. Martens leather, but he is enjoying them, so that is what counts. I will definitely be buying him another pair when needed. Most likely not in smooth leather.

Leather was quite stiff, they felt too big and clunky for what I wanted for now. I am typically between 8.5 - 9 and ordered the 9 which fit well.

Made in China boots. Leather is of poor quality, If you want a durable boot, look elsewhere!

Super cute, but I've had trouble with the sizing on this one. They run small or narrow. The material is very stiff as well and has made it a challenge to break them in.

Nothing wrong with the shoe. Great style, color, quality. It was just not as comfortable as I had hoped.

Great boot but runs big!

Lots of room, maybe a bit too much. Could have gone down a half size if that was an option. Very happy with the look. Aztec color gives a good worn look that makes it seem like you’ve been wearing them for a good amount of time already.
