I love my boots! They're stylish and I get compliments everytime I wear them.

Another Amazing Zappos experience. I cant say enough about the customer service. While trying to purchase thes, the LAST pair in our needed size, my card wouldnt work> I attempted 2 diff cards. Neither working. I was sure it was an issue with zappos. Called and spoke with the most amazing CS guy. Worried that we wouldnt get the card deal fixed in time, he just sent the shoes! Shoes fit fantastically, soft, hardly a need to break in. Ive worn them many times since receiving. Great quality, as all Dr Martens are. Sizing is True.

Great boots! I had a pair back in the 90's that I wore for 2.5 years straight and decided to try my luck with them now. I cannot tell a difference in quality if there is one. As for fit, I ordered the US size 9 and they are great (I wear an 8.5 Extra wide). Break-in was easier than I thought based on some other reviews and is nothing more than to be expected from real leather boots. I've already worn them for a week and a half - every day and I've gotten more complements on them than I ever got with my other boots! Insoles are a bit thin/lack arch support, but they are not 'uncomfortable' - just added a little bit more padding and I'm all set.

I have been wearing Docs for years! I just bought another pair. But that is after I about four years of wearing my last pair. Docs have always lasted a long for me. I wear them all the time.

The size is true to spec. I am a US size 10 and based on prior reviews to buy a size down as it comes oversized, I did. But I had to exchange it as it was now too small.

AWESOME Customer Service! I had to exchange for a different size and my boots were out of stock. Zappos let me know when they got them back in and sent me my new pair before they even got the originals back! Everyone I spoke with there were very personable and bent over backwards trying to help me.

I purchased these for my 15 year old son. He is very happy with them. It took a few days to break them in, but he wears them everyday. I like them because they are appropriate for most occasions and they can easily be cleaned. He wears an 11 in running shoes, but we sized down according to reviews and they fit.

Honestly, I've avoided most boots due to comfort issues for years now, but these break the pattern. Took very little time to break in, and now that they're soft and pliable, it's almost magical walking around in them. Even though they aren't the UK version (Mine are from Vietnam), the construction seems tight. My only note on these shoes is that I originally bought a different pair which were supposedly my size in the US (I wear a size 14US/13UK), but they were cramped and seemed a half size too small. I bought these in a 15US/14UK and though they are a bit big/loose, it's still super comfortable. Compared to the other sizing comments, I'd warn anyone who wears a 14 to buy a size up, specifically.

This is my 3rd pair of black 8-eye Docs (#1460). Love them. Fit well, seams are solid. Leather is good quality.

Normally wear a size 10.5 or 11 but these run a 1/2 size big the 10's fit me perfect. After a week of breaking in these are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned.

Hooray for Docs! Get these and you won't regret it, but be prepared for a slight break-in period (well worth it). I had a green pair about 20 years ago and the sizing and styling are still true to form. Can't go wrong as style never goes out of fashion!

Comfortable and iconic, but it's appalling that half sizes aren't available. I wear a 9.5 in all types of shoes, therefore, I needed a 9.5 in Dr. Martens. Unfortunately, U.S. 9s are too small and U.S. 10s are too large.

I didn't believe the hype and bought a pair of UK 12 (US13) since most of my other Docs (shoes and chelsea boots) fit better at that size, but these 1460s really do run large, at least all the way up there. I dance between a 12 and 13 in US shoes all the time, and for these, I ended up returning the larger pair and getting a UK 11. These needed no breaking in out of the box, perfectly comfortable from day 1. Seems that Doc Martens quality is still there.

I love these boots! I tried em in a women's size 8 and size 7. This women's size 6 is way too adorable! They are so cute it is illegal! They are attention getters and there is nothing as gorgeous as them for fall!

These are much too cute! I love them so much! They fit snug and I didn't know that's how they fit! People stop and ask where did you get those shoes! They are so different and cool! I adore them! (So does everybody that asks me where I got 'em!)

These shoes are flat out amazing. They are so comfortable and look great with just about anything! I would recommend big socks with these boots because they are a little loose at first and you have to break them in.

My daughter loves them. They're comfortable, durable and cool. Best of all her Docs are different from everyone else's.

I have had these boots for almost 2 months so far. They are incredible, I have owned several pairs of Docs before, and I do believe these are the first ones that breaking them in didn't make me bleed and cry. Undoubtedly this is because of the softer Nappa leather. But even though it is soft and supple, it still takes abuse. I wouldn't wear them to do construction, but I work at a full service fuel station here in Oregon, and have worn them literally every single day since I got them. The only complaint I have is that the toe cap is a little softer that what I would like. This means it dents, which makes bull polishing impossible and pointless. But, it's small lettuce to pay for comfort. I have loved this company and their products since I was a teenager, and it's good to see that even the Asian made boots are still up to snuff. When my taxes come back I'm buying at least 2 more pairs. The For Life boot, and probably a pair of capers.

These are the classic Docs I grew up wearing in high school forever ago. These were a gift for my husband. They fit according to size for him and are comfortable. I remember what a pain it was to break them in. He has had no problem what so ever with that! We are very happy with this purchase! Cant wait to order a pair for me! Shipping was great, they arrived super fast!
