I bought these for my son and he was over the moon. He loves them. They fit great. He's getting use to wearing them and breaking them in. We are very pleased with the purchase

These were a gift for my husband. He was thrilled and said they were just as great as the pair he had in college. They run slightly large (which we already knew), so we sized down for a better fit.

I wear a US7 women's in Dr. Martens and the fit was as expected with these boots. They grey was a nice neutral gray that will go with blue and black nicely.

I wear size 9, and I bought this pair boot is too big.

The shoes looked great however the fit was too big. I’m a UK 5 and US 7. I will probably need to get a size UK 4 for the best fit and overall appearance. They looked a bit too big as well. I’ll be ordering them in a size 4 and hoping I’ll be satisfied!

This is the perfect size I wanted and the boot smooth too!!!!!! I did wanted the blue colored ones, but this perfect closer to the color. Now the people me coming and notice my boots!!!!

The Dr. Martens 1460 boots were a pair of boots I've wanted for the past 10 months or so. I've read some disconcerting things about their production, and the deterioration in quality. I'm happy to report that this hasn't been the case...yet, and I hope it doesn't ever will be. I have no doubts there are some bad apples out there, which is unfortunate, but I hope my pair stands the test of time otherwise I will report back. Zappos delivered my purchase next day, which was awesome. I've since taken the time to start the break in process little by little. While comfortable, I do think that I will in time, get some gel inserts to further maximize this. They're not uncomfortable, by any means, but I suspect the default comfort will only last so long. But, maybe I'm wrong. Either way, $15 gel inserts will turn these boots into something that's already comfortable, into something even more sensational. The look offered by the boots is just what I'm looking for. I'm happy with the purchase overall. I still think this offers a certain style, certain people look for, and if you're among those, then you (should) get that.

Got these as a gift for my boyfriend. He loves them! Says he's getting lots of compliments on them at work. They run a little large on him, but thick socks and insoles do the trick. They take a little time to break in, and they do crease. This leather is much stiffer than the vegan material.

Bought for my son--seems like sizing was true to size for him (he's a men's 12 and that's what we purchased). Leather is really nice--softer than the original Docs--basically no break-in time. Style is awesome and exactly what we expected. Highly recommended!

These in particular are AMAZING, I wear a size 8, need lots of arch support so when I wore these to work for a full 8hr shift I was super happy when I finished because my feet weren't in pain! I really liked these, they're not the shinny ones which I like and they fit amazingly!

I own three pairs of 1460s, and have been wearing my first pair for 7 years now (and they still feel good as new). Doc Martens never fails to exceed expectations in regard to quality, style, and comfort. This year, I decided to gift a pair to a close friend of mine. They ended up fitting perfectly and were just as pictured, and the look on his face when opening them was priceless! Thank you Zappos for a great deal on my fave type of shoe!

Classic look great pit boot

The material of shoes were amazing & the size & width were average.

My husband typically wears a 13US/46EUR. We read the reviews and went with a Doc Marten 12. The boots arrived today and fit perfectly with smart wool medium thick socks. He says they are very comfortable and generous in the instep. My hubby is picky about shoes and he says these are terrific.

Sharp looking boot! Most Doc’s take some time to break in, but I’m happy with these boots!

As many people know certain 1460 Dr Martens take some time to break in. Overall, it is a great boot pertaining to style & comfort! It is such a sharp looking boot!
