These fit well in the heel, had good arch support, and reasonably simple lines. They were more or less exactly what I was looking for except around the toe, which felt very cramped in the M(B). I'm returning them and trying them in W(D), but am concerned the heel won't work.

The shoes are deep and wide. I could easily insert my orthotic on top of the supplied insert. Comfortable. Meets all expectations

Runs very small. I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 and had to order a 9.

This is one shoe that comes in a slim or AAA width in larger sizes.

Basic white shoe with decent support. However, I will need to buy new shoe laces since these are too short to double tie

I ordered my normal size 8.5 and (M) width. However, after wearing the shoes for a few hours, I found the width across the toe box felt too narrow. From the online photos, the toe box deceivingly appeared to be rounded. Returning this shoe for the Propet 8 walking shoe.

I have a very narrow (SS-SSS, with a 5S heel) foot, with a high arch. Ive been wearing Saucony walking shoes for many years because they seemed to be the only ones with a high enough arch that were also more narrow than other tennis shoes. However, I decided to take a cjance on this Propet Washable Walker Medicare/HCPCS Code = A5500 Diabetic Shoe in 10N because it looked narrower on the foot and not as clunky as the Saucony. Other reviewers also priased its light weight. I've been wearing these shoes for three days now, and trust me, everything the reviewers say about the light weight, narrow fit, good arch support, and trimmer look is true! I kept waiting for my feet and legs to get tired, as they did all the time in my other tennies, after just a few hours. This just hasn't happened with the Propets. And I'm not stubbing my foot on things the way I realize I had been in the other shoes. I wasn't clumsy, my shoes were! No more. And, wonder of wonders, my foot cramps have ceased. I thought I needed more magnesium or potassium or some other vitamin when all I needed was a pair of Propet walking shoes--hallelujah! I gave it 4 stars because the arch support could be a little better, but its better-than-moderate, and I think a simple slip-in sole would fix that; and it would be nice if it came in colors like other shoes do (people with very narrow feet never get the color choices others do). One cautionary note: I also ordered another Propet at the same time, the Propet TravelActiv Slip-on, in both a 9.5N ans a 10N, and neither one fit as well; they kept slipping off my heel.

This is my second pair of Propet A5500s. I don't have diabetes, but I do have very narrow feet, and their "slim" width actually fits me with only ONE pair of socks on--a minor miracle! I only wish this style were sturdier; the first pair developed a hole in one sole after less than two years (admittedly, I do walk several miles most days). Not the prettiest shoe in the world, but the comfort of a fit that hugs my narrow heels is wonderful.

Super light shoe. Really well made. Sadly they did not have enough padding in the ball of my foot to be comfortable. So they were returned.

These are too small. In Clarks I wear a size 8W. I may have to stick to them.

If they could have put something on the bottom of the shoe so I could walk around in the house for an hour, these might have been ok. I was not sure if my toes would have stretched the shoes enough to make them perfect.

I have arthritis in my feet and ankles. These shoes are very comfortable and I can use my own inserts in them. Best of all they are inexpensive and come in extra wide width.

I have a hard to fit foot. I was hopeful this shoe would fit since it was a slim. It did fit through the heel nicely. But it would pull diagonally across the top from the end of big toe to the other side above the small toe. The shoe was long enough, but maybe not wide enough for just the big toe!

I have been desperate for good walking shoes and these come close. I need to wear an orthotic which fits into this shoe. My two minor issues are that I wish the toe box was more square - I have wide feet. Also, the laces that came with the shoe were too short and I needed to buy another pair.

These shoes are lightweight, which is very nice. They run about 1/2 size too small. I had to exchange them for a 1/2 size larger. The insole is pretty comfortable, but could use a little bit more padding if you are one to be on your feet all day. Not a bad shoe for the price.

I ordered these for my mother who has had bunion and hammer toe surgery. Certain shoes have seams that bother the bunions since they fall right on the bunion area but these shoes are lined inside and were very comfy! They just ran a 1/2 size small, so just sending back for a larger size.

This shoe is very comfortable right out of the box. The construction is noticeably shoddy, probably because they're made overseas. For example, there are noticeable puckers in the construction stitching around the toe area, the last place an error should be allowed. Overall, a good looking shoe, with some cosmetic flaws that should not have passed inspection. Unsurpassed comfort in wearing. I ordered a 9.5, and accidentally a 10 was shipped. A little long, but the width was perfect. Since I am normally a 9 in a sneaker, I think this means this shoe is narrow. This shoe is very comfortable and does not look like an orthopedic or "special" shoe. Closely resembles a Reebok sneaker.

Very comfortable right out of the box. Wore on Vacation, were great. Only problem, shoelaces not long enough, had to change them.

If you want a lightweight shoe that has enough toe room for a wide toe box, this is a good choice. There is not a high amount of support, but it's pretty comfortable and is indeed lightweight. Haven't tried washing it yet, so can't comment on that.

I bought this shoe initially in beige. It wasn't comfortable the first time and then I added a Dr. Scholl thin blue 3/4 insert, which lifted my heel area and now is quite comfortable. (I usually find most shoe heels well too deep for me.) It looks great with beige pants. I then bought it in white and black. The white looks good; the black does not look as stylish. So, these are what I like about this style: attractive, available in wide, light. I have not washed them but I like that I can.

The shoe could have a little more room in the toes for me and more arch support, but it works fine.

This shoe fits well and true to size. I am a 10.5N and it's hard to find walking shoes in my size. It also laces up high enough to be able to utilize the alternate lacing method to make it fit well with my narrow ankles. It has a trim fit and not "clunky" looking like an athletic walking shoe, so I am able to wear it daily to the office with slacks and I don't feel odd wearing them out to dinner. I have a 7-block walk from the subway in DC to my office. The sole is flexible. Although the heel is shock absorbent, I would prefer more padding in the metatarsal area and more arch support. It is roomy enough for a gel insert and I plan to get them.

Comfortable, extremely light weight shoe. I really wear a 4 1/2 and since this ran slightly smaller than a 5, it was perfect for me. They are nice looking as well

Looks good, smart looking shoe. It is not as comfortable as I thought it would be; arch support not good for my foot. Would try another pair of Propét shoes so I can compare.
