I will not buy this brand again. Feels poorly manufactured (of course, China) and the heel/sole wears after 3-4 time uses. Not recommended.

The Propet Life Walker (black, 9 1/2 wide) is a well-made, attractive shoe with good arch support. I did expect the shoes to be more comfortable. The removable orthodic isn't well made. I wanted them for everyday casual walking but I'm keeping them for a casual nice shoe to wear when athletic shoes are inappropriate.

This is the first time I used Prophet. I needed it in a hurry because I was going on vacation and was desperate to find a comfortable shoe. I have very wide feet and try on a million pairs of shoes. This pair worked. This is also the first time I called in an order to Zappos. The staff person was absolutely terrific.

Bought this and the Propet Washable Walker, which I prefer over this one. This style is heavier but has the same innersole. I wish it were thicker and more cushioned; as a nurse and on my feet 12 hours/day it would be much appreciated. I let Propet know this, when I returned my warranty cards. Zappos is wonderful! I spoke w/ one of their reps. during the placement of this order, most helpful! I'm keeping these shoes but have added OTC insoles to make them more comfortable but still need thicker ones next purchase. I wear a 9N, which is not easy to find in stores. Thanks Zappos for carrying my size!

I could barely believe all the fans that have written about these shoes, but with Zappos free return policy I had nothing to lose. These shoes are very comfortable, have a lot of padding inside, and are very lightweight. I wear them to go on walks and do errands and the laces have come untied, so I double-knot them. They are certainly not stylish, but I like that they are very plain. I will likely buy them again if they ever wear out.

Shoe is as ordered. However, it is very hard to buy without trying on. I lucked out and shoe fits pretty good.

zappo propet lifewalker - It is a very good shoe although when I wear them the balls of my feet are a little sore so maybe they need a little more padding there.

Shoes that fit - I use prescription orthotics and have often struggled to find shoes that fits my feet. The orthotic makes my foot both high and wide. Propet Lifewalkers are the most comfortable shoes I've had since I got my orthotics 10 years ago. They are lightweight, flexible and durable. The only time I don't wear them is on dressy occasions and with skirts. They are a little dumpy looking, but the comfort is worth it.

Good shoe! The shoe seemed to be about 1/2 size larger than marked, but still was comfortable to wear and to walk in. I have large feet, and this shoe does not make them look any smaller, but I'll give up a bit on looks for comfort any day.

Didn't fit for me - I wear orthotics and like to leave the insoles in too (for more cushion). I could not even get my foot into the shoe with my orthotics to give them a try. I have very built up orthotics so my experience may not be typical. I was disappointed as I wanted to try them after such great reviews. -I have Propet sandals that are great and will definitely try other pairs.

I have a pair of Propet Walkers. Very comfortable and light weight. I have an issue with my pair tho, although the shoe still looks great the tongue was made out of inferior material. All the white color has disintigrated making my shoes look terrible. I'm so sad because they were my 'dress up' shoes. the rest of the shoe material is still in excellent condition. But dont feel confident or proud to wear them places now. for such a high quality shoe, more care should have been taken into the production of these shoes. thats my issue.

I had high hopes for the Propet Life Walkers but they are just not comfortable. There is virtually no padding. I've had them for a few weeks and it's taking a long time to break them in. I won't be repurchasing this brand.

I wear a size 7B. I also wear orthodics. This shoe fits fine but I can\'t wear the orthodics comfortably in them. I\'ll keep these Propets around for days I don\'t wear the orthodics. They are comfortable enough but I\'d love more padding, which seems to be in short supply in a lot of shoes, and I wouldn\'t walk for miles in them!

My companion has worn this style for years. They are very comfortable, and true to size. The only problem we had was the color. We thought we were ordering pure white, but actually got sport white, which turned out to be a beige color. He decided to keep them anyway, but it should be made clearer about the different colors of white.

Run Small - I received the shoes that I ordered, but they were too small, thus the rating. I returned the shoes and decided not to reorder (only because I didn't want lace up shoes afterall).

Not best choice - Nice clean look, but felt very “heavy.” Felt no shock absorption, as product claims to have.

I am an avid walker and my New Balance all of the sudden started making my feet feel tired. I wanted something lighter weight but sturdy. These work great. One of the reviews I read said that the reviewer walked a lot and they were not very supportive, but I find this not to be true. I do not use them exclusively for my 3 mile walks but when I do, they do the trick.

These shoes are so comfortable, I have a handi-cap with my left foot and these sneakers/shoes really makes a difference to my comfort. I don't like store shopping as I'm limited to my walking. On line shopping is great,especially when you have a great web-site like Zappos, I've ordered in the past and will continue to. Their products are the best and the free shipping they offer are a big savings. The big plus is if your not satisfied with what you order you can ship it back for free.Very few sites give you that offer. I've ordered in the past and will continue to order from this company.

Picked these up for my 95 yr old grandmother. She has very poor circulation due to congestive heart failure and often finds shoes don't adjust enough if her feet are swollen. These were very comfortable for her, providing enough stability and traction to feel secure without adding unnecessary weight to her feet. I can't be sure how they'd hold up with frequent outdoor use, she's mostly walking indoors on carpet these days, but she's very happy with them (and was tickled that they arrived at her doorstep within a day of when I pressed "order" on my cell phone). Shoes and Zappos service highly recommended!

I bought these shoes for my 90 yr old mother. It was great to find a narrow width with a wide toe box. they fit well
