Wide enough with enough support - I have a difficult time finding athletic shoes that are wide enough (EE) and have a firm enough sole (no bending allowed!). These shoes fit the bill. They provide the support and width, and have done well for me these last 4 weeks. I'm glad to have found a shoe company that makes a 6.5EE shoe!!!

Very nice shoe - As a nurse I walk quite a bit in one day. I have been wearing the stability walker for about five years now for the comfort and stability it gives me. I'm sure it also helps prevent back aches that were more frequent before the use of the shoes.

Stability walkers - Used to be a great shoe. They were recommended by my doctor. They were great the first few years (I've had multiple pairs in white & black.) The last few pairs have had poor workmanship-eyelets teating out. I compared them to older ones, and discovered they're made slightly different now - they need to return to their original design.

Great find - I love the Propet stability walker, they are the only shoe I have found wide enough and comfortable from the day they are purchased. The only complaint I have is that the bottom of sole starts to separate at the decorative "points" after only about 6 months of wear, while the rest of the shoe has a lot more life left.

This is my second pair. I received this pair a few days before going to France and most of the time I was walking on hard surfaces; I had absolutely no foot trouble. At home, I'm used to walking on dirt trails. When I walk on hard surfaces, I usually have trouble with shin splints- but not this time. I love these shoes! (I did order them one size wider than I normally get.)

Walking in your Propets - I found the shoe not as wide as I would have liked it. Although I did not return it, my daughter took the pair and loves them. They are very comfortable and ease the pressure on her knees.

Excellent feel, not enough traction - I bought these shoes because I work in the seg unit at a max prison. The shoes are very comfortable for all the walking I do. They broke in easily. However I do not recommend these shoes for places that flood often. I work in one of these type of places and I fell down a flight of concrete stairs. I constantly found myself hydroplaning on 1/2 inch of water on concrete floors. Anywhere else and these shoes are fine. I highly recommend them as long as you are not on water often.

Too short and too narrow. My feet felt squished doing nothing! It was a relief to take them off. I ordered another pair a half size up and one width wider. We'll see how those go.

The extra-extra width starts out fine, but immediately curves in on both sides. The material felt like cheap plastic soles, but I would have dealed with that if not for it squeezing my outer toes. Shoe makers need to consider that not everyone has pointed feet.

I wear a size 8N typically in an athletic shoe. These shoes may have been comfortable, but I couldn't tell because they were too wide when I removed the insole for my orthotics and too narrow and pushed my toes up in the toe box when the insoles were installed with my orthotics. Anyway, narrow was not very narrow.

The shoes feel stiff and clunky. The leather might loosen up with wear (break-in needed?) but the sole is hard and unbending. The fit at the heel is a bit loose (I have narrow heels) and instead of bending, they slip uncomfortably. Sending back. Sorry.

These rubbed on the sides of my feet. There is a rough seam there. Couldn't keep them.

I ordered a 7 extra wide, the shoe fits well until I get to my two small toes on the outside of the foot and they have rubbed both with red spots and blisters. That is enough for me, I worn them out and while they still look nice, I don't feel like I can send them back. If it is an extra wide, you'd think the toe box would fit comfortably.

I had to return these. They were just too long for my foot, in size 8. There was a big gap at the back of the shoe and my heel. Perhaps a 7 ½ might have worked. But I moved on to something else.

I gave this shoe 3 stars because I really liked the thick sole and also the design. Unfortunately it did not fit. It felt shorter than the other Propet shoes I have and slipped at the heal in spite of it being short. l have a very narrow heel & difficulty finding shoes that fit, but generally Propet shoes fit better than some other brands.

I ordered wide to get a large toe area. The area across the ball of the foot was generous but the toes are narrow. It seemed well made and attractive except for the toe width issue.

I wear a 5EEEE and have a high arch. I purchased these shoes after deciding between the New Balance WW928v3 and these, as I wanted to save money. Though they physically fit (I could get my foot easily into them and wear them), I found the styling not comfortable in the widest part of my foot. I decided to return these and went ahead ordering the New Balance WW928v3.

I looked forward to getting these shoes after reading reviews and description as I am diabetic and the feet are starting to bother me. The shoes look fine and they felt, oh, so comfortable and I was pleased, because there was no foot discomfort wearing them. BUT they feel "loose" in the heel. I considered returning them but tried them for a couple of days and figure now it's too late. If you do order, remember they feel wider and longer than described, but are otherwise comfortable. Support is moderate though.

This shoe was very comfortable and had good style. However the arch support was barely moderate and definitely not the shoe I had hoped for.

I chose these because of all the great reviews. I'm looking for something to replace the worn out Avia's. I found them to be incredibly stiff and the wide was not nearly wide enough for me. Overall, I could barely walk across the living room in these.

Not as supportive or as good quality as it should be. I often need to buy Propets to get the really wide widths I need, but I sometimes find the quality to be lower than other brands. For a walking shoe, I had other options and bought both the Brooks Addiction Walker in 7EE and the New Balance WW927 in 6.5 4E (different colors) and found the fit and comfort great and pretty much the same in those two shoes.

Propet Stability Walker - Was disappointed in this shoe; 4E width was so tight at instep and across toes, it felt like a regular width (D or E) shoe. The shoe definitely runs narrower than advertised. I ordered a P.W. Minor shoe (Pleasure) along with this one, and the P.W. Minor shoe fit exactly right, with plenty of toe room. This shoe felt like a stranglehold on my 8 1/2 4E foot!

Quality isn't very good!! I ordered these shoes to wear at work with tile floors and the toe area is narrow and hurt my toes, then within a month the tip of the sole came unglued from the shoe and now, after 5 months the bottom part of the sole is coming off. I am very disapointed in these shoes.

Why does the toe have to taper so much? One of my feet measures 6 1/2 E and the other 7 D. My New Balance 841's size 7 2E are too narrow. Based on the reviews I read here, I bought a black pair of 6 1/2 XX Stability Walkers and couldn't wait for them to arrive. They are a tiny bit wider than the New Balance, but the toe tapers narrowing the toe box to the point of discomfort. They just weren't wide enough in the right area. I returned them, very disappointed. But if you do have a bunion, this shoe is very deep where it counts most!
