These shoes feel very good at first. They feel like leather and seem to be leather because my feet didn't seem to sweat or get too cold. I liked everything about these shoes but like most Propet shoes, they cause my feet and legs hurt if worn more than 2 hours. I have bought a pair of slip on Propet shoes that I decided to keep because they feel and look great but, like these I cannot wear long. They will only be worn too long but are just for convenience and looks. Again, if you don't have troubled feet like I do, these are great shoes.

The narrow width does not seem very narrow especially at my heel. It slips. However, I did not return and will live with the slip. I could not find anything else. I like the "beefy" style. The length seems accurate.

Are shoes being made a little shorter or are my feet getting longer in my 60’s? A 12 N should have fit perfectly. Doesn’t come in a 12.5, so I’ve ordered a 13 N. I hope it works because I think this would be a great, comfortable shoe to have in cooler weather.

None of the above has much to do with my review. I have wide feet but they are NOT fat. This shoe is made for either fat feet or swollen feet. WAY too big despite me ordering the size I usually take. Arch review isn't correct for me either - I have to remove the insoles for my orthodics.

These shoes were great, except the toe box is too pointed for my wide toes. (I wear a 2E and that's what I ordered) If it had been more rounded, then they would have fit fine. I don't know about the arch support as I wear orthotics. They felt o.k. otherwise and would probably be a good choice. They were helpful with balance. I also thought the suede wouldn't stand up to my walking environment in the country very well. A good town shoe.

I don't know what's up with Propet these days. I need good overall support for my feet (I'm 62) and I'm on my feet most of the day. Their sizing is inconsistent between types of shoes. Bought these in a Medium width and they fit fine on the foot but my heel lifts out of the shoe when walking so they are going back. I had to return other Propet Medium width walkers this week because they were too narrow and caused my feet to fall asleep when sitting...I have worn Medium width in this brand of shoe for six years - been buying Propet because of the great support and have walked all over Italy in them. I'm sending these back and will keep looking for shoes with good support that fit. Thank heaven they have free shipping and returns as I continue the hunt.

I buy this exact same shoe in the exact same size and width all the time and it is a perfect fit for me. This particular time the shoe had a slightly different style and was about a half size too small and a bit too narrow. This has happened once before, and I returned the shoe, waited a little while and reordered it in the same size and width. Received the style and fit that I am used to getting. I am hoping the same thing happens this time. It's a great shoe, and I normally would give it 5 stars in each category.

this is a great shoe but it is too small and I cannot get the 1/2 size larger because Zappos does not sell it.

while these shoes accommodate my wide feet, I detect no padding in them! I think most shoe manufacturers anymore are too worried about making sure people can remove the footbed for orthotics... can we concentrate somehow on making the shoe more comfortable right out of the box? Anyone?

I bought these in the extra wide to accommodate my orthotic insert and my wide, flat feet with a big toe bunion. Yes, my orthotic fit, but my bunion didn't. That's because these shoes have a pointy toe instead of a wide toe box. Come on, Propet. Those of us who can only wear these types of shoes are not concerned with looking stylishly pointy. Also, they are advertised as being leather, but they sure don't have the breath-ability I expect from leather. I am returning them. The only reason I ordered them is because the trusty Saucony Progrid™ Integrity ST 2 has been out out stock in 9 double wide for several months. I'll just keep waiting for the Saucony....

It's not as comfortable as I had hoped or read about. The material is hard and there doesn't seem to be much support as other Propet shoes I had previously purchased.

Shoe felt big and wide, too big and wide for me.

I ordered a half size larger than my normal size and this shoe is still too small. The shoe is a bit wider than I expected. The shoe is very similar to a New Balance walking shoe. It isn't the most attractive shoe, but if it fit, it would be comfortable.

I like these shoes but they are a little small and much too narrow for me. I am usually A-OK with an 11 WW, and these are an 11 2X, but the toe is tight and the center width is very tight for me. I am returning for the next larger size. Thanks, Zappos, for making the return process so easy. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the 11 4E is a perfect fit.

Liked the style and look of these shoes but the comfort just wasn't there for me. While they were roomy and quite stable underfoot, they had no cushion and felt stiff and a bit heavy. The tongue was too short, so moved around and hit the front of my ankle in an uncomfortable way. Had to return these.

I have always worn a size 7 Med shoe. This Propet was narrow around the toe area and my toe hit the front of the shoe. Would have been great if they fit right.

I always wear a 10 - 10.5, yet even the 11 in these had my toes slammed right up against the end. The width was also narrow for a Medium. If the length had worked these did feel like they would have been supportive.

The sole of the sneaker is very wide. Noticeably wider than the the sneaker itself. It feels a little odd when walking. Slightly uncomfortable.

These are Propet shoes so my expectations were high. I was a bit disappointed. There is no padding at all. The stitching inside the toebox is very raw and not at all pleasant on the toes. I did not return them as I had walked outdoors in them. I would select another shoe, i.e. New Balance, Hush Puppies, etc. I am now walking in my old K-Mart sneakers, not my expensive Propet's.

This is a nice shoe; however, for me, it's a bit too heavy for my feet. I have had some surgery, plus I have bunions. I need a lighter shoe.

I really really wanted to wear this shoe but it just wasn't comfortable. Maybe if it had been made of mesh instead of all leather. Though marked as 4E, I found it didn't feel as wide as shoes marked 2E. It also felt like my toes were rubbing the top of the shoe.

Was looking for a very stable shoe to wear in Europe after spraining my ankle. However, this one just did not offer enough support around the midfoot. Otherwise is very stable and very wide (even the narrow size).

These shoes are very hard the inside without much cushion. Need diabetic shoe with extra cushion on the inside. They run true to size so you don't have to order larger size shoe. Ordered a 7-1/2 Wide. Having to return because they are too big and too hard on the inside. Reordering another shoe.
