fit was good but tight on foot width

SEEMED TO FIT WELL EXCEPT IT SLIPPED ON THE HEEL A LOT.

Maybe it's just me, I don't know, but these had zero padding under the balls of my feet, and felt like there was no arch support, but the worst part for me was the way it hit the side of my toes, I wore them around the house for a bit trying to see if there were "for me" or not, but wound up having to take them off because of the pain in my toes. It made me sad because I love the look and thought they would make a great walking shoes.

Bought these for my mother - she wears a brace & needs a larger size to accommodate. We love the style & the suede! She said it's the 1st pair in a long time that didn't have her feet aching @ the end of the day! Also, they don't catch on rugs as you walk - while being stable on bare floors! These are a big "win" for us...thank you so much!

I was looking for a good walking shoe, but the first pair I ordered were too short. I had to order a full size larger than I have ever worn before to get the correct length. I am now happy with these shoes!

One foot the size is a half size too large. Other than that, the shoe is great.

Materials were sturdy - I'm working with abad heel - so they felt a bit small - I had to return

The fit was good, but the over-sized sole felt awkward. I do have stability issues, but given my already size 11 feet the shoes seemed much too bulky.

The fit and size seems to be okay. I haven't had them very long. So far I'm happy with the new shoes. This is my first time with this style. Barb Malone

Loved the color and style, but could use a little more room in the toe area for me. Good shoe.

I have a screwed up foot and even though I got the extra wide my toes wouldn't relax in the shoe. I have the worst time finding shoes. I think this shoe would have been perfect if my toes would have cooperated.

The show is a little tight and stiff in the toe box but I'm hoping the shoe will stretch with time. They are well constructed and solid--kind of like a hiking boot.

I have complicated feet with fallen arches, hammer toes and a bunion, and I need to wear shoes with excellent support. These shoes have lots of room in the toe box and easily accommodate my orthotics. However, the style is not for me. I am returning them.

I usually wear a 7 1/2 so that is what I ordered in this shoe, as well as another pair of Propet shoes. The other pair fit perfectly. But in this Walker shoe I have to exchange it for an 8 1/2. My toes were pushing all the way against the front of the shoe. Other than that, they were very comfortable. I can't wait to get the right size!!

This is a great looking shoe and I think it would fit orthotics. I ordered these for my mother, a retired nurse with a very weak ankle. We returned them as they did not have enough support for her - she needs the extra support from the New Balance shoes with the roll bar. But if one can add their own orthotics to this shoe, I would think they would give pretty good support.

This is such a nice looking shoe, we hated to return it. I ordered it for my mother, a retired nurse with weak ankles, and she needs more arch support. She will stick with the New Balance, but thank you Zappos for giving her the opportunity to try this cute style shoe!!

I love the way these shoes feel. I have neuropathy and flat feet. These were really nice and supported my poor feet. I usually wear a 9W. I have to at least get a full size down. You can place my thumb behind my heels and still have a little bit more room. I would like more choice of colors (i.e. blue, purple, pink, neon green, neon orange???). A little bit more girly girl?

So close! Perfect width in the toe box but too wide at the ankle, damn. The search for shoes for my short, wide feet continue. Sigh.

too wide in heel

I purchased the gray suede Propet Stability Walker Medicare/HCPCS Code = A5500 Diabetic Shoe not because I am diabetic, but because there are not very many walking shoes available, not in white or black, for a size 6.5 wide. I had to return the first pair because the toe box was too narrow, and exchanged them for a 6.5 2X wide, which is a first for me. But because I plan to wear the shoes on a vacation during which I will be walking a lot, it was important not to have my toes squeezed. So, now I have shoes that look like small, square tugboats. I have had to add an additional arch support and heel grips, which seems to be an issue with Propet (at least for me). However, I would recommend the Stability Walker because it is stable. I have a bad knee and am delaying knee replacement surgery, but the shoes make me feel more 'grounded" and less likely to stumble when my knee gives out. The shoes look clunky, but they are not heavy or tiring to wear.

Despite having a rather pointed toe, I think these will fit nicely once I get a bigger size. The pointed toe makes them a bit short.

I just received these shoes. I ordered them because Zappos is out of my most comfortable Brooks Addiction Walkers in my size. Out of the box, they seem well made. However, I found them to be a little too short in length and a little wide at the heel and ankle area. The lacing pattern does not allow you to secure the heel, which is necessary for narrow feet. For example, most athletic shoes have two eyelets at the ankle for lacing, and this shoe only has one, far from the previous eyelet. My heel slipped right out of them. I will be returning them. This is disappointing, as shoes in size 10.5 N are hard to find.

For a wide shoe, this was not very. Disappointed.

I am puzzled by Propet sizing. I ordered 7.5W in 2 styles. Other was too small. This is plenty wide, too long by a whole size, and too deep so my ankle bones are hit repeatedly as I walk. Comfort and support feel right but they don't fit. I have peripheral neuropathy so the search continues.
