Extra wide and extra comfy Great shoes, standing up to a lot of abuse. I bought two identical ones (black and "ecru," what we plebes used to call beige) and the ecru ones I swear are wider than the black, though marked exactly the same. Go figure. To extend the life of these (or ANY) shoes, do not wear the same pair every day. Alternate every other or every third day and they will last more days of actual wear than if you wore them until they fell apart. Really!

Great Shoes !! This is a great choice in shoes. Easy on and off. Great fit. Very comfortable. Best shoe I ever owned.

This shoe has such wonderful reviews we decided to give them a try. Ordered a 3X width for my hubby. For a 3X the toe box is extremely narrow. Noticeable as soon as we opened the box. Maybe the shoes were mismarked. Sadly we had to return them. My husband has worn Propet for years and will continue to do so. Just not this style.

I like the shoe's style, and comfort is good. The only problem is they squeak. You'd think they'd have figured out how to fix that in the design.

My husband says these are the most comfortable pair of shoes he has tried. His only complaint is that the tongue is not attached except at the very bottom causing it to slide down. So he got a sewing awl and stitched it down each side of the tongue with dental floss.

Good shoe in a good range of sizes - could be more durable - It's hard to find wide shoes like these. Even the other Propets aren't usually available in the super-wide sizes. These shoes are VERY comfortable and would be perfect if they were just a little more durable. I'm heavy and I wear down the soles in about 2 to 3 months - making these shoes somewhat less durable than I prefer. However, the sizing is the deciding factor here. Also, if you are lighter on your feet, these shoes might last a long time for you, it's hard to say. Overall, though, it is still a pretty good shoe.

This is the second Propet strap walker I have ordered from Zappos because of Diabetes. The straps are so much easier than laces. I have trouble with swollen feet and this walker is so much easier to adjust to my feet.

Propét Leisure Walker - Shoe fits well, is nice looking, and easy to wear.

Comfortable, well made light-use sneaker - The title says it. Recommended.

Work or play - Nice fit and look, need non slip bottoms.

Overall for the money these Propet Leisure walkers can't be beat. I have been paying over twice as much for walking shoes that don't offer the comfort of these. I do have a few nitpicks as follows: Velcro straps too long...cloth lining in the front of the shoe with some padding, foam I think. They seem to be a little warm on my feet as I am very sensitive to this. That is why I need all leather shoes. Still, I would buy again.

Comfortable shoe and nice looking - Took these shoes as soon as I got them on a cruise to Alaska and did lots of walking and standing and the shoe felt very comfortable and were nice looking too. Easy to get off and on.

Overall good shoe - Attractive shoe, nice fit, very comfortable; a subtle Velcro-fastened shoe.

I ordered for my 86 year old father. He likes the shoes because they are lightweight and the velcro makes them easy for him, but the left shoe seems narrower and causes discomfort.

Accurate Fit - Quality excellent and sizing accurate. I'm very pleased with shoes and also impressed with ease of use of Zappos web site and fulfillment of order post haste.

Comfort-Twice. Upon receipt of first pair of Propet's Leisure Walker Velcro shoes and appreciating the fit, comfort and size-wize, I ordered a second pair. Just great. On the down comments, the tabs are too long and the shoes seem a bit squeeky. Need fit and comfort? These are the ones.

Very Nice Shoe - First of all, let me say I received excellent service from Zappos. Always hesitated to purchase shoes online (especially for my whacko feet), but with a shop like Zappos and a good return policy, it's hard to go wrong. I placed my second order a week after receiving my first. Now on to the shoes... My only real disappointment was the size. My foot has become a little too wide for the medium width, and this model's next size is X (which is 3E). This turned out to be just a bit too wide, where something in between, like a regular "Wide" would have been a better fit. Nevertheless, I found that just by tightening the Velcro straps, and using sole/heel inserts purchased at the drug store, the shoes become quite comfortable with very little slippage. My original goal was to find shoes that could pass as dress casual, but still remain comfortable. Once these Propets are fully broken in, I think they'll do just fine. The velcro straps are great...my laces keep opening so the straps are perfect for me (obviously, I never learned how to tie laces!). Actually, the straps were too long, which was caused by the fact that I tightened them quite a bit to compensate for the extra width. So for $17, I had a shoemaker trim and stitch the straps, and now the shoes look a lot better. Would I buy Propets again? Not too sure. Although I'm pleased with the shoes, and they're indeed quite comfortable to walk in, I think I will stick with the two brands that I consider THE most comfortable shoes in the world (at least for me): New Balance and Easy Spirit.

Allen Repp, Lufkin Texas. Shoes squeek when you walk. Really loud, but are very comfy.

Width is way too narrow for this type of shoe. It is vert hard on my toes and increases my pain from my neuropathy. Might try another size, they seem if they fit, they would be nice.

Although these shoes are comfortable, they squeak. The squeak on hard floors, carpet, any surface. The fit was great. I am going to wear them a bit longer as I have had them just 4 days to see if the squeakiness subsides with wear but will return them if it continues. Kind of bummed about that as I otherwise like them.

Like everthing about the shoe except the sole. Have had them for 30 days and have just about worn through the heel on both.

Good shoe, great price - I was looking for a shoe that I would get my feet into easily and this fit the bill. My feet and legs swell quite a bit and I couldn't get regular shoes on. I put these on and they felt as though I had worn them forever. Very comfortable and attractive.

The wide was not not wide enough for my mother's orthotic when the equivalent size in other brands fits fine.

Well made shoe, average comfort. I bought these for my husband. He said they felt a little tight at first, but they were ok after wearing a couple of times. The true test will be to see how long they hold up.
