Great Boot - Although I am not sure why it’s called a "walker" (does not have those artsy earth tones) it makes a great duty boot for public safety personnel. Comfortable and good looking.

Decent shoe, however... These shoes are supposed to be waterproof, but water is getting in around the stitching. They also need more top to bottom space to accommodate orthotics.

Old Feet Work All Day - I work construction and am on my feet long hours. Having injured my feet and legs in an automobile accident, standing and walking all day has become uncomfortable by shifts end. These shoes have been very comfortable, my orthotics slip into them easily and they seem to wear well. I am very happy with their purchase.

Good Choice - These shoes were well worth the amount spent. They are light weight which was nice for airplane packing.

Shoe purchase - Shoe does not seem to breathe and feet get too warm indoors, I will not be able to wear them in summer time. Otherwise, very nice works shoe.

BUTT UGLY, VERY COMFORTABLE - These are esp. ugly looking shoes, and not the usual heavy leather associated with boots. But...they are comfortable and very supportive.

I find the shoes to be very comfortable. They fit well. The looks are good; casual but not sloppy in appearance. I find them very comfortable to hike in and have not experienced wet feet when walkin through wet grass and soft ground.

I have purchased 4 pairs of camp walker shoes, all in brown, and have been very happy with them. I take a 3 to 4 mile walk in the hilly country of WV every day and use the shoes for every day wear as well. A pair will last me about a year. I ordered a pair in black and they were made of smooth leather instead of split leather and didn't fit as well as the brown split leather. As for the brown ones, I will buy again. A VERY NICE SHOE.

CAUTION ... WET ... SURFACES - After a week it's like walking on air, very well cushioned, great fit, light weight, comfortable boot that was cool after a long day. BUT BEWARE, if you are going to be on ... a damp or "in any way" wet surface ... they are the slipperiest shoe I have ever owned. It's really hard to believe a hiking boot can be this slippery. Otherwise ... so far, so good.

Nice boot- This is a pretty good boot overall, very comfortable and true to width. If you order this boot order one size bigger. I took someone else advice and got a size 16 EW I normally wear a size 15 EW. I like the shoes look because I work in the security business.

Propét's Camp Walker Hi, A good versatile hiker. I find this boot very versatile. It serves as a work shoe, A hiking boot, and since it is waterproof I use it for a motorcycle boot. It offers decent support and comfort. The most desirable feature that I like is it is available in a 4E and also a 5E width. It is very light weight. I have ridden a motorcycle in driving rain with this boot and my feet were completely dry.

First time buyer - I've always had the hardest time finding shoes that would fit me. Thank goodness for Zappos. I recently purchased two pair of shoes from them, one of which was the Propets Camp Walker. Very comfortable and sturdy shoe. I'd buy another pair in heartbeat. They were also shipped express free of charge, so I got them within two days!!

Overall pleased - Good shoe, definitely wearable. It does seem a little smaller than advertised though. Next time I think I'd try half size larger and next wider width. It's a little difficult to get on.

Good Basic boot - This is a good basic boot at a good price. Before ordering, I noted that others complainted that it is not waterproof -- I haven't had that problem yet. Like others note, it is narrow. I have an "E" width foot and the "EEE" width wasn't too wide for me. I wish I'd gotten this a little bigger, actually, because I like to put on really thick socks when hiking -- so far, I haven't needed the thick socks with this.

Great Tactical Boots - I bought the Propet Camp Walker High in black 3 weeks ago and I'm impressed. However, read the other reviews and be warned! I guess because they are European in size, you have to order the next widest size because they really are narrow. I usually wear an 11D but ordered the 11X and they fit fine. Otherwise, this is a great durable lightweight boot especially for those in law enforcement or on SWAT teams. They are waterproof while letting your feet breathe, provide adequate traction in mud and are priced much cheaper than boots from Danner or Bates. Zappo's as usual provided great service.

Everyday comfort - I purchased this shoe in my correct width...contrary to the suggestions to order up one width size. I've since returned it and followed the suggestions. My current Propet is up one width and fits really well. This is a very comfortable shoe for everyday use. I haven't owned it long enough to determine durability. My one real complaint is its appearance...not bad, just not anything special. However, I would buy another pair (assuming that this pair passes the durability test).

Boots boots boots - Having had no luck finding any boots at retail stores that I liked or that where wide enough for me(EEE)I came online looking. I found zappos and was relieved to find such a great selection. I had concerns about the width after reading the reviews, but ordered EEE anyway. Once they came and I tried them on I found that they were snug, but not too narrow. I've been on my feet for hours at a time and my they give great support and my feet don't hurt at all. I'd recomend these boots to anyone, but they are snug and I can see how for some they may seem narrower than marked.

Tight!!! I followed the advice of other reviewers of these shoes and ordered the X width; I normally wear a D width. Well, I should have ordered the 3X because these shoes are still tight on my feet. I have worn them several times (too late to return) in hopes they might be inclined to stretch out but the process is slow and a little painful. At this point I have abandoned the “trying to fit the foot to the shoe” and have given them to my oldest son whose feet are a little smaller than mine. Great styling and looks don’t overcome poor manufacturing (sizing standards) so if you order a pair of these shoes make sure you order a wider that usual size give them a good indoor walking.

These run narrow! I'm so sorry these weren't just a little wider...I have massively wide feet and have a horrible time finding sportwear that fits. These are really light in weight, which I really love, but they really do run narrow.

Achilles should have had these! I purchased these for my teenaged son who has had problems with his achilles' tendon and needed dome support. Of course he still needs to look good, and his feet have to be comfortable, and at a 13 it was hard to find the right shoe for him. The shoe is sharp enough to wear for dressy times and rugged enough for up at Grandma's farm.

ROOMY! These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. The extra width, which I need for some foot problems that I have, was more than enough. The only minor complaint I have is that they are a little slippery in wet weather.

A little tight - I was looking for a pair of plain black hightops. It was not exactly what I expected, but was the best choice out of what is available.

I've searched for years for a durable, comfortable, good fitting, versatile pair of shoes. I get a good fit with the 5E size I require. This shoe serves me very well. I work on my feet, I also commute by motorcycle in all weather conditions, my feet have never been wet while wearing the Propét Camp Walker Hi! Consider Seattle area rainfall and motorcycling and dry feet. I wear the black color most, though I have the same in a brown. For work, hiking, walking, and riding motorcycle, I like these shoes. This is a soft and flexable boot so some motorcyclists may opt for a harder, heavier boot. The sole has a 1000 mile wear guarantee. These boots are comfortable right out of the box, I found I can improve comfort even more with a quality after market insole. The tread design is just right for grip and traction. This, in my opinion, is very good all-around footwear. That, coupled with Zappos.com shipping to your door step convenience, is why I recommend these boots at Zappos.

Richard, New Orleans - A very comfortable shoe, feels wider and longer than size says. I wear an 8, 6E, but the 5E was very comfortable. The shoe dries quickly over night when wet, due to the water proofing. My feet do sweat excessively, too. If there is a 1000 mile guarantee, then that is the only draw back. The soles wear easily.
