Wow! Me: Wide foot, high arch, bad knees. My search for the perfect walker has finally ended! I have been a faithful New Balance customer for years. While I still think they are a quality product, there was too much variation in fit between various models and they continue to add and drop models, and have too many to keep up with, so it (lately, anyway) was a hit/miss deal and, even with the excellent Zappos return service, an inconvenience. These are simple, basic, consistent shoes. Stylish without being "clunky looking" with excellent support. Will be ordering two more pair soon.

About 3 years ago I bought a pair of these, and as they are beginning to wear out from all kinds of use from generally casual to yard work, I ordered another pair. I love Zappos, and have bought all my shoes and boots from them over the past 10+ years. I have a very wide foot and high instep. Selections are good for me.

I was able to locate the size, width and style I was looking for with little or no effort. The quality of the product is excellent.

This is a very well-made shoe, the 5E is super-wide, and there is excellent arch support. I'm going to buy a second pair right away!

Comfy shoe. I have a trouble getting athletic shoes wide enough and this is perfect. I look forward to really testing them on my cruise.

Bought them for hubby who is a big and heavy man with foot problems. These shoes did the trick. A+.

I have spent my first 60 years trying to find shoes that fit me correctly. Most all of my purchases, though the shoes were billed as wide and had to be in 1 1/2 to 2 sizes too long in order to get the width to fit my extra extra wide feet. Now in my retirement years, I have found a shoe to fit my big feet in the proper length. Not only do they fit but they are stylish and comfortable. I think anyone with wide feet would be very happy to try the Stability Walker.

This shoe fit great, with plenty of room in the toe box so his toes do not rub sore. They are very comfortable!

Very comfortable shoe. Easily accepts orthotic inserts. A true extra athletic shoe!

This shoe is a good comfort shoe. The toe box is more pointed than the picture shows, but the shoe didn't pinch. Zappos has great service and customer support. I highly recommend them.

My Dad loves them!!!! My dad is diabetic so he has trouble with his feet. After receiving these shoes he is back on the treadmill. They are true to width and size. Thanks!

Propet Stability Walker for Wide Feet - Propet Stability Walker is the only athletic shoe I like. I have 9 1/2 EEE feet and buy 10 5E. They are totally great!!!!

Excellent pronation stabilization. I have searched for a long time for a shoe that would offer the pronation support I need and thanks to the reviews of this shoe I have found one. It took a short time to get used to the support but now I keep a second pair available at all times! My thanks to the previous reviewers and may I add my own declaration of "support"!

Great wide shoes! I have ordered several pairs of these shoes for my husband who has extra wide feet. He loves them and it saves us a trip all around town to find size 12 triple wide. Very true to size and sturdy. Not to mention, just a good looking tennis shoe. I also get his casual dress shoes at Zappos, Propet also. Great shoes!

Comfy, doncha know! All I do is walk at work...so these shoes were just what I needed. I haven't had sore feet since buying these shoes...aside from that first day of breaking them in. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The Walker - The only problem I had with this shoe was that it would rub that back of my foot to blister as I wore it and at the same time would gather my socks into a ball underneath my foot. The size of the shoe is the same as other Propet shoes that I have purchased but this time I got them as wide as possible. Overall, I think in time, the shoe will either wear out my foot, or I will wear out the shoe.

Unlike many reviewers of shoes, I have narrow feet instead of wide ones. I really take C width shoes, but few manufacturers even bother to make a C width, so after years of buying the usual D width, I thought that I would give these a try in B width to see how they fit. They fit fine, and the quality of the shoe's build appears to be quite satisfactory. Nonetheless, I will not be wearing the shoes much longer. The stability feature built into the shoes is to make the sole about 5/1" wider than the shoes themselves on the outside at the ball of the foot, and perhaps 3/16" wider on the inside at that same point, than would normally be the case. That extra width where the sole contacts the ground or sidewalk, plus the dead-center orientation of the heel slope, forces the wearer into a particular gait, which may or may not be comfortable. It was not comfortable for me, at least. Nearly 68, I walk about three miles a day, and having to adjust my gait to the shoe's is something that I am not willing to do. I understand how this stability feature might be very useful for people whose sense of balance is impaired, and in that situation I would recommend these shoes, but I do not really need that feature, so it is a negative rather than a positive as far as I am concerned. I was never comfortable walking in them, though the fit is good, as is the quality. So, I have done further investigating, found another shoe from Zappos that I can get in a B width, but without any extra sole width, and I am going to give them a try.

It's a pretty shoe, but for me it is too narrow. There is no room for my little toe. I got a 7 (5E) and I regret getting this one. I had hoped that the leather would be softer at the toe and that there would be room for my little toe.

No, No, No! I just received these today. I decided to go against the grain and purchase something different other than Reebok. Big mistake! These are the most uncomfortable walking shoes I've ever worn. I have a high arch - there's little arch support unless you're virtually flat-footed. I wear size 11D. If these were 11D, they were made by dwarves. They were so stiff right out of the box I could barely walk right in them. I had them on for maybe two minutes and I'd had enough - these are going back and I'm sticking to what works and what's comfortable for me.

So I have extremely wide feet, and the right is a little longer than the other. I was fortunate to find these Propet 5E wide shoes. They are a great fit, stylish looking, and comfortable to wear, with minimal break-in period. I liked these so much I bought a second pair!
