My father is 6'0 , 240, 60 years old and he wears NO OTHER SHOE. I purchased these Propets in brown for him 2 years ago, and they're still holding up. I purchased another pair because I was tired of looking at the brown pair. Excellent purchase for one reason, QUALITY! In 2 years, black pair watch out, I'll be buying!

Great shoe, fits well. Finally able to get a shoe with the width I need.

They are well made and offer the right amount of support.

Being diabetic I changed out the inserts and replaced them with custom made orthotics. Shoes still feel true to size and fit. I change out shoes every 12 months. This is the second time I have purchased this particular model. I order two pairs at a time and change them out every day. They are highly recommended for diabetics. I like the fit and comfort of these shoes and highly recommend them.

The Propet A5500 shoes are true winners for me. I have been wearing them for many, many years, cannot remember how many pairs over the years....all from Zappos. Early on, I wore these shoes for work when servicing industrial heating equipment. I continue to wear them since retired. I usually add an insole and this makes the fit perfect. The shoes wear well, both leather and soles. Before the shoes are worn out, I have usually replaced the laces.

I got a size 10, 5E and it's the first tennis shoe I've had that is wide enough without being too long.

This is the 2nd pair of these I've purchased in the last 18 months. I ordered the 1st in the correct size and had to stretch them, thankfully they're leather, so they wouldn't rub my right big toe. They fit small, so I ordered the 2nd pair according...good fit, but it is 1/2 size larger than my street shoes. BTW, I am not a diabetic, but I clearly like the shoes. The top of the tongue is NOT leather and the plastic (pleather?) does disintegrate with use.

This is the second pair I have purchased. Having wide feet limits some brand selection. After wearing New Balance for many years, still a good shoe, I find this to be a better fit with the 5E width. They wear well and look great. I have the gray and plan on ordering the chocolate.

These shoes were purchased by me for my husband. He isn't a diabetic, but he recently had orthopedic surgery for a broken femur. These shoes give him a stable base for his physical therapy.

Show was a little tight when I first put it on but stretched out after wearing a couple of times. Very Happy with these shoes. My first pair were grey.

Width felt narrow probably because the shoe is leather and would not give or stretch on the side. Nice strong material, though.

I received my new Propet Stability Walker sneakers two days after ordering and wore them the next day and throughout an out-of-town weekend trip. I had purchased Propets in the past from Zappos but had migrated to New Balance 577s. It's still early but I really like the 5E width size of the Propets as they give my feet a little more room. This really helps with my neurotopathy problems.

Perfect fit! Zappos has a winning formula for selling shoes. What I like is that I no longer have to drive to a specialty store that sells these extra wide shoes. Just be sure you have proper foot measurements and you'll be fine!... So pleased, that I ordered another pair of shoes subsequently!

Nice looking, sporty shoes. I wear in-shoe braces and orthotics, which makes it hard to fit. These go on easily and feel very comfortable. I had tried a couple of other brands that have wide widths, but I couldn’t get them over my braces. Proper has a new customer.

I recently purchased a pair of Propet Stability Walkers in size 13 EEEEE. I have only bought New Balance shoes the last 20 years because they have the 6E width, but the last few pairs seemed not as comfortable as the ones I bought years ago, so I thought I would try the Propet brand. I liked the way they looked and when I put them on I was surprised that they were plenty wide enough and more comfortable than my New balance shoes. I will definitely be buying Propet from now on and Zappo's service is awesome!

good looking shoe but unfortunately it is to narrow. Needs to be returned.

Nice work shoe for someone on their feet all day. I ordered a larger size and the regular size my husband wears because some of the other comments mentioned they ran small. Well they don't. His regular size 11.5 D fit perfect.

Man, I am on my 4th pair of these. I swear by them!
