The only socks I wear for tennis! Love 'em. Bought a pair when I began suffering from heel pain. Now I have 6 pair.

These socks are very soft. My heels hurt and I ordered these for some heel padding. They work. The socks are a little thick, so they would not work if I had really snug shoes already. I also have tried the running socks and they seem a little thicker. Both work to help absorb the force on my heel when I walk. One thing I noticed - I wore them all day and the next morning I threw them on to let the dog out and they were mashed down and not as comfortable, still comfy, just not as comfy. So, before my review I wanted to wash them. I read a lot of reviews along with the instructions and decided to wash mine as follows: turned inside out, used softener in the washer, hanged them up to dry (did not put in dryer). They feel as soft and thick as when I first got them and do not feel like they shrank up any. I will continue to wash them like this and hope it prolongs their life.

They're great, but almost too thick for my sneakers to fit over them!

Bought these for tennis and learned that the color is a dirty/dingy white - not as shown in pictures. Whatsup with that, Thorlos??

From the picture i thought the socks would come up higher on the leg.

The quality of Thorlos Maximum Cushion Crew socks are noticeably less than what they used to be. Socks I purchased three or four years ago are better made and far more comfortable than the new ones they are selling. These socks simply aren't special anymore and not worth the money.
