I've been buying this style from Florsheim for about 20 years. It is one of the few brands that come in my extra-wide EEE. They are very comfortable, almost like slippers.

I did not know that I would have to pay for return postage.

I have been wearing for 25 years. love them

Substitute for a Como, which I prefer but was unavailable in my requested size and color.

I can always count on them to fit correctly. Customer service personnel are always great to work with. Thank you.

the moment you put the shoe on it feels like you've been wearing it for a long time and that's probably the most important part about it looks are nice but the comfort is more important it's as nice as my tennis shoes

Social and Work; comfortable; not water proof.

I am a chiropractor in practice and college professor. Therefore I am on my feet and have reached the age where comfort is as important as style. I have another pair of Florsheims that is more casual but the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I could run in them if I had to. I was hoping the Rivas would be like them but I have to say for a dress shoe, it still has a great deal of cushion. My feet no longer ache at the end of the day. I returned a pair to another company after getting the Rivas. I had the other pair (company well known for comfort) for over a month and they were not nearly as comfortable as the Rivas.

Hope you will again carry a water proof shoe as in the past that looks like a dress shoe.

The shoes are good, the most recent shipping experience was bad. You usually ship UPS to my front door. This time you shipped UPS/Sure Post. The Post Office does not deliver to residences in our mountain resort community. They returned the order to you. I had to get on the phone with Customer Service to re-order the shoes. This time they shipped it via UPS and it was delivered to my door. You should confirm that the Post Office will actually deliver to an address BEFORE using the UPS/Sure Post method. It delayed my order by about 10 days.

I got away from Florsheim for a while, the fit wasn't working for me, and I went to J & M. J & M are now not made well at all, so I gave these a shot. They now fit me well and seem well-constructed. They were comfortable out of the box.

I think the Riva is a very nice shoe but the Como is a better fit and shoe for the money. How about a Como with a little added style?

Timeless shoes.

The sole on the shoe is just a little too thin. I can feel cracks in the sidewalk through it so it does affect the confort of the shoe. The same is true of wearing them and walking long distances, they just need some more padding.

first pair arrived promptly but were not wide enough, so I returned them and received replacement pair in larger width and am completely satisfied

I've worn Florsheim for 45 years. Last 3 pairs had a soft sole but the soles totally disintegrated ..... I even have pictures of it. They were comfy not durable !! So, back to the leather soles.

Very, very difficult to find stylish 5 E widths. Please add more.

I always have at least 4 pair of brown and 2 or 3 pairs of black. The shoes are all in a different time of wear; worn out(I paint and work in them. Good- I use for casual going out. Better-I use for going out dress up. And I always keep a pair as a backup.This is a great shoe. I had two pairs that the soles fell apart. Floresheim replaced them. I had to send them a picture of the problem.They were nice and sent me new shoes.
