Florsheim Riva - From the pictures I was expecting a shoe that, even with the EEE fitting for my duck-like feet, would need to be broken in with a few days of discomfort before they molded to my feet. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that they were comfortable from the very first wearing, to the point that I sometimes don't feel as though I am wearing shoes at all! (More like fire-side slippers!) That comfort might not work for everyone, because if your feet are used to a stiffer shoe, or actually need to be supported, then these are possibly too soft and supple. The soles as well as the uppers are fairly flexible. For me however, these are excellent shoes, and I will definitely be buying more Florsheim shoes in the future.

Florsheim Riva - Very comfortable shoe and easy to wear.

The Riva is mah-RIVA-lous! I've been buying/wearing this same shoe for 24 years now. I first wore it when I was a store manager in Chicago for the now closed Florsheim chain of company-owned stores that was HQ'd there. I am still a retail store manager. I spend the majority of my work week on my feet. Wouldn't wear anything else.

Great fit - My husband wears a 7.5-E shoe. This size is very hard to find. Florsheim Riva fits PERFECT! It looks great-does not pinch his foot and he keeps them on all day! Most shoes he buys-he has trouble with his instep-not the Florsheims!! He really says they are VERY comfortable on his feet.

Shoes for husband - My husband has never used ZAPPOS before. As Florsheim stores are becoming increasingly harder to find, I suggested he order online. He knew what he wanted and was very impressed w/the quick delivery. Florsheim have always worked for him. He's happy...I'm happy...now we both shop at Zappos...

My Zappos Florsheim. I was a little skeptical about mail ordering for shoes. I live on a military base overseas. Very limited selection. I ordered anyway. What a pleasant surprise! The size was perfect, packing was perfect, and delivery was MUCH quicker that expected. I'm SOLD. From now on it’s Zappos for me!!

Right size! These shoes fit like a glove! First time in years I found a correct width for my foot (EEEEE!) Stores never stock them so I always had to buy 11 EEE's to get something wearable. Thanks Zappos!

Florsheim's Riva - Above excellent quality and comfort, superb fit, true to it's sizing. It is the only shoe my husband can wear.

Old favorite! My husband has been wearing this style shoe for many years. It is extremely comfortable and fits his foot very well. These shoes are very well made, and wear well. He wears them everyday to work and I replace them about every 2 years.

Florsheim Riva - Please take any compliment you've read about Zappos & believe it! The same is true for this shoe. My husband HATES to shop & I can't think of anything more difficult to buy for someone else than comfortable shoes. This shoe met his demand for comfort for his narrow size feet & my wish for style in his shoes. The service was Zappos' usual best that I've come to take for granted. Thank you!

Very Comfortable - The shoe is extremely comfortable; I can now walk fine with no pain in my feet.

Great looks and Value - The Florsheim Riva is a great business casual dress shoe. It feels pretty good, and is comparable with shoes costing two or three times as much. It is also available in a wide array of colors, so it will go with just about anything.

Great shoe - Perfect fit for sensitive feet. It's basically the same shoe as the Bostonian Prescott if this one doesn't come in your size or color.

Exceptional shoe - My husband wears a size 7. The local stores don't stock that size anymore. Everything starts at size 8. Thank you Florsheim and Zappos,

I have worn Rivas for many years. They are very comfortable, fit well and are generally true to size. The Riva is a good "blended" shoe which can be worn both as a casual and at least a semi-formal shoe. It's a hard combination to beat.

Comfort - Florsheim really got the comfort right. These shoes are incredibly soft and cushion-y, feel like slippers.

Once again I'm pleased with Zappos.com - This is my second pair of this shoe--in a different color. Just as I expected, it came on time and was as nice a color as I hoped. Right on Zappos!

Excellent fit - I am having a hard time finding my size and this is a marvel indeed to finally find a pair that easy. Thank you again for your products.

Riva Deserves Another Term! Well over ten years ago I received my Florsheim ComforTech Riva shoes as a gift. Of shoes I've had they are the best. I'm casting my vote for another run.

Most Comfortable Shoe...EVER - I have very wide feet (5E). I have never had more comfortable shoes on my feet. This was the 2nd pair I ordered. Zappos is Terrific. The original pair was too large, and they promptly exchanged it BEFORE I returned the larger size. No charge for shipping...either way...EXCELLENT!!!

Comfortable and Professional for the office and courtroom - This shoe was a comfortable feel right out of the box. It gets me around the office, walks to and from the courthouse, and they are soft and very attractive. LOVE THEM!!

This shoe is the answer if quality and fit is your goal - I'm possibly in a unique situation having suffered a stroke about 12 months ago, I was able to recover enough to get out of my wheelchair and try to walk with the aid of a cane. One problem I haven't been able to over come is what they call foot drop because of that I need to wear a hard brace on my left foot. This makes wearing a normal shoe impossible, I've gone to stores that specialize in orthopedic shoes. I had a job interview coming up and was desperate for a pair of black dress shoes so I bought a pair. And they look just like the name implies. I purchased one pair that made me look more handicapped than I was actually embarrassed to wear them. I needed to experiment with various sizes and widths in the privacy of my own home. Zappos free shipping both ways gave me the opportunity to experiment with different styles. So I went for a 3E in a brand known for quality and craftsmanship. The Florsheim Rivas I received were the perfect shoe true to size expensive looking and well made. The following week I ordered them again in a different color. I couldn't be happier with the quality and service from Zappos. In my quest for the right shoe I ordered a different brand in the same size they seemed to run small and the workmanship wasn't equal to the Florsheim.
