A shoe salesman many many years ago suggested I try this shoe on to see how comfortable it was. I've stayed with it ever since. Some times I had to search hi and low to find it. Then I found out I could by it on line and I have been doing so for years. It feels like I'm putting my feet into a comfortable pair of really soft slippers. (It's the lining).

Only shoe that really works well with orthotics.

I've been buying this style for years in both black and brown. Wearing them are like wearing bedroom slippers-they are so comfortable! I was disappointed when we moved overseas and couldn't buy them here. Florsheim doesn't ship overseas, but I was able to have someone mail two new pairs to me!

I like the shoe best for travel and for going to work. It is easy to slip on and off yet stable and fits perfectly. It is elegantly styled but does not attract attention, which fits my style as well.

This is the second Riva I have ordered I am tough on shoes in sales and the shoe holds up where others make you spend $$$ Love it

I have very wide feet with a huge instep and the Riva is the only stylish slip-on that I have ever found that I can wear. I also have plantar faciitis and these are the only shoes I've found that don't hurt. I love 'em. They're stylish, they're comfortable, and they're durable. The last pair I bought 9-EE was my fifth pair. And I will continue to buy more. But I do wish the white was available in the EEE width.

Looks good with most casual clothes. Good for going out to dinner, to a show, wherever cool casual is appropriate.

I have been wearing Rivas since they first came out about 1979. I don't remember the model I wore before then, but they were Florsheim's. In a 12EEE or, lately, a 13EEE size Florsheim can always be counted on to deliver the same exact shoe year after year. These are the only shoes that I would order through the mail and be confident that the delivered product would be exactly the same as the pair I just wore out.

I absolutely love this shoe. It is, by far, the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I have been wearing it for many years.

Casual wear.

I have bought these shoes four times over the last 20 years maybe more. I have had the black and brown ones all the times. I bought my first pair on a lark at a shoe store downtown Manhattan. I liked them so much I bought the other color soon thereafter. When I wore those out I bought another set. This is the second time I've bought them on line. I needed a pair for more formal ware that I hadn't beaten up.

I have used Riva shoes for years, since they are both comfortable, stylish and they go with either formal or casual wears.

Very comfortable shoes that is stylish

Very comfortable. Can walk long distances in them. The leather holds up but the soles wear out a little fast, but I wear them all the time.
