Feels like a gloves on your feet - The leather is soft. The slippers are very light and it takes a while to get used to wearing them. Perhaps, because I am used to slippers with flat soles that fit loosely, although I only buy slippers in my exact size. (9 1/2 C) The only negative thing about these slippers is they look too nice, more like street shoes than slippers. They are well worth the price.

I tried this on in a store. It runs about a half size big. I usually am an 8.5 and sometimes a 9. Usually a euro 39. My foot is medium width, but just a hair wide (though not enough to buy a wide size). Anyway, the 8.5 in these was quite loose. I would have needed heel pads, even with mid-weight socks. The 8 felt great. I didn't get them though since they didn't have an 8 in the color I wanted, so I'm so glad Zappos got them in stock! Yay! The buckle straps are flimsy, but unless you touch them, they don't look too cheap. There is a bit of cushion in the footbed, so I think they'll be reasonably comfy.

My husband's favorite shoes - This is the 4th pair of Riva's I've purchased. They are my husband's favorite shoes. In fact, he won't wear any other style.

Comfortable and stylish - My husband has been wearing these shoes for years. Recently he realized that he needed a wider shoe, and was thrilled that Zappos offered it in a wide. Now it is even more comfortable.

Hard to fit - This was the most comfortable dress shoe I have ever owned. One week later I bought another pair in brown.

Dress comfort - I have owned sveral pair of these shoes over the years the leather uppers are soft and very comfortable not much in the way of arch support but I doubt anyone would be doing much long distance walking in these shoes. The leather lining gives the shoe the look and feel of quality.

Excellent buy - Shoe feels wonderful out of the box, true to size and width, looks good. What more can one ask for from a shoe. Very happy with this selection.

Zappos, you're the greatest! Shoe-shopping has ALWAYS been a dreaded experience for me. I have big, wide feet. Stores never carry my true size, and I always end up with something that almost fits but pinches my toes or is too narrow. Twenty years or so ago, I had a pair of Thom McMann shoes that were an exact knockoff of these Rivas. They were too small for my feet but were still the most comfortable shoes I had ever worn. I actually had them resoled when the low-lifespan rubber soles characteristic of these shoes wore out. When the uppers finally started to come apart, I had to search for the real thing, and I found it at Zappos - and for the first time in my adult life I have shoes that actually fit my feet! I bought the burgundy first, and just recently added a pair of the black ones. I plan to order a pair of brown ones next. Just like everyone says, these shoes are the ultimate in comfort. Wearing these with a suit almost makes you feel like you're cheating -- but they are as classy in appearance as any other dress shoe! One final note: Zappos, I have ordered from you several times now. The shoes always arrive much faster than anyone could expect, and when I have had to exchange something, your service was hassle-free. I heard about your company from a Sears shoe department salesman who buys all his shoes from you. Please stay in business forever and keep doing business the way you do!

Perfect fit - My husband loves these shoes! He has a wide foot and since they come in Wide widths his feet are happy. Very soft leather, which he also loves.

Soft and comfy - These shoes are great! My dog chewed my first ones and I was insistent on having another pair so I had to wait for them to get them in stock. I wear these shoes over all my others--- I have searched a long time for such a perfect comfortable set of shoes that can be worn both dress--and casual. I am buying a back up set for the future --in case they run out of my size.

Well Worth It - This shoe was extremely comfortable the moment I put it on. It is flexible yet provides excellent arch support and can be worn either in a casual or business setting, making it all the more practical and useful. Well worth the price.

My husband loves these shoes! My husband has been wearing these shoes for several years and loves them - they can be dressy or casual. They're comfortable for him especially after he broke his foot a few years ago. Highly recommend.

Fit like a glove - I have never owned a pair of loafers as comfortable as these. They have the broken in feel the minute I slipped them on. Big men have no use for leather soles and heels so the rubber composite lower assembly is a real plus also.

Soft and comfortable - I was looking for comfortable shoe that was dressy, but not too stiff looking. The only problem I had with this shoe is I needed a width of 4E and it only came in 3E and 5E. The great thing about Zappos is the free shipping both ways. I ordered one of each. The 3E was a little snug - the 5E a little too loose.. I chose the 5E and put a heal pad. Haven't worn them much yet as haven't had much need. But needed them for some upcoming cruises.

Excellent shoe - This shoe is a comfortable shoe for being so soft and fitting to size. It has a very soft cushion as you can have them on all day and not get tired feet.

Florsheim Riva Shoes - I found the service by Florsheim and Zappos were better than going to a retail store. I could not believe that the shoes were actually delivered the next day. Shoe quality and comfort was great. I would highly recommend them.

A diabetic’s dream shoe - I have been wearing this shoe for 18years. It was recommended by my Doctor. I have diabetes and need to wear a very good shoe to protect my feet. This shoe has produced everything I need for the comfort, style and support that I have to have to insure protection for my feet. THANKS AGAIN!
