Solid performer - I have been a Florsheim fan for many years, and the Lexington is a classic dress shoe. Like any shoe with a leather sole of this thickness, some break-in is required, but they are not too stiff right out of the box. For those with a narrow foot, these shoes seem to be slightly wider than a "D" width, but that may related to the styling. The service at Zappos was top-notch as always...

1) Styling: I love it. I wanted classic wing tip with narrow look and thin soles. I got it. 2) Comfort: I've had for 2-3 weeks and I still feel like I'm walking with boards for soles. Hope they will break in soon. 3) Rubber sole on the leather sole. I bought this kind of sole several years ago, and after the second day I remembered why I had decided not to buy them again -- the rubber squeaks with every step! If I hadn't forgotten that, I wouldn't have have bought them. It also reminded me that after awhile, the rubber starts separating from the sole. In winter, snow and dirt get in there and I end up tracking it into buildings. Very bad. 4) What I would really like is the same styling but with a nonstick man made sole (leather is really slippery). If I find it with the Lexington styling, I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

I have a 13 B foot but this 13 B shoe was way too tight and had a very uncomfortable footbed. The J&M Melton has a much more comfortable footbed. This Florsheim looks nice but the fit and comfort were disappointing.

I've always loved the wing tip shoe look and decided to finally purchase a pair. I must have look through 50 different kinds and decided on the Florsheim Lexington Wing Tip for a few reasons: I love the style - not a pointy shoe and the wingtip design was classic. They were also moderately priced. The problems I have with them is one, they squeak, two the laces always come loose and 3, the top of the shoe rubs on the bottom of my ankle. So annoying. I put lotion in the sole which got rid of the squeaking and am getting ready to purchase some new laces and some sole inserts in hope that they'll quit coming loose and stop rubbing on the bottom of my ankle. I wouldn't recommend these shoes to my friends.

I ordered these shoes for my husband as I know how much he loves Florsheims. They are stylish & fit him perfectly. When they arrived the next day, he looked at me & said that now he loves Zappos as much as I do.

Comfortable right out of the box. Very little break in. Make no mistake, these are not the Kenmoor Long wings, but for a budget minded wing tip, they're a nice shoe. Seem to hold a nice enough shine and as I already said, they were comfortable, right out of the box.

I\'ve had the shoes for just about a month now and they are holding up well so far. No issues with the construction quality even after long nights out in poor weather. They do feel a bit larger than marked however.

My husband has a narrow foot and has always (50 years) worn Florsheim wingtip shoes for good. His old shoes still fit, but literally wore out as he wears them forever. His old shoes were 9-1/2 B but we had to end up getting a 10-1/2 D; evidently the sizing has changed over the years. He is very happy with his new shoes.

Fits like a glove! First ordered an 8 1/2, had to return for a 9. Shoe fits perfectly. So comfortable, never hurt during break-in. But, the best thing is about Zappos customer service. IT CAN'T BE BEAT PERIOD!!! JENNA is wonderful!! I recommend Zappos EVERYDAY to all my friends and family, SO, go ahead and order your shoes!!!

Good buy - With the price of good shoes going thru the roof, this pair of shoes is an excellent buy. They fit well and look good. Great buy.

Took several weeks to break-in, but offered good arch support and become very comfortable. Good product for the price.

These wear like IRON and are really comfortable (bought 3 pair), but 2 of the 3 pairs have bubbles in the leather in the creases on top of the foot and it is really visible. This took about 1 year to show up, but the bubbled leather is really obvious and doesn't look good. I took REALLY good care of these and live in SoCal, so the shoes have never been wet. I think maybe the leather is cheap leather and probably something other than cowhide. I was going to buy the Kenmoor, but now wonder if that shoe will also be made of some unknown leather that will bubble up. FYI - I also have a Bostonian Tahoe that has weird lines in the leather after not much wear. Oh - on one pair of the Florsheims, the burgundy stain has worn off on the edges of the trim and my shoemaker says they probably weren't stained properly.

Shiny shoes - The shoe looked to be narrow, but when wearing them they fit well and were not uncomfortable at all. They have a nice shine, and needed no break in period.

Excellent - Just as comfortable as if I broke them months ago

These are the most UNcomfortable dress shoes I have worn. The OLD Florscheims were much better. The foam liner rubs myheels so I trimmed it, but I am still getting blisters on toes and balls of my feet. These shoes seem to be made of cheaper leather that doesn't break in very well. I am back to wearing my 10 year old Hanovers that have been resoled 3 times, cost half as much are MUCH more comfortable and look as good.

Excellent Wingtip - This is an overall great pair of shoes. They hold a good shine and provide great support. The sizes are true. The only negative comment I have is the sole. The rubber sole that is imbedded in the leather sole can be an issue after a few months. The sole comes loose from the leather and makes you sound like you are wearing flip-flops. The price to re-sole with solid leather is reasonable. To give a better shine, do not use Kiwi. Use Lincoln Stain Wax. It provides a higher and lasting shine.

Very Good Value - Wingtips are hard to find, but necessary to wear (in my view) if you want others to take you seriously in a courtroom. These felt a little stiff when I first put them on, but never bothered my feet in the least. They wound up being more comfortable than I had imagined they would be. They have the look I wanted. They also have more arch support than I expected, and arch support is important to me. These are hard to beat.

Nice Shoe but Not Perfect - I have a hard foot to fit. These fit well, but are not wide enough and squeeze foot all around, not just on sides. I am not overweight and normal size 9W. Beautiful shoe, but small.
