This is the greatest pair of shoes I have ever owned They break in and become very comfortable after a few wears. They look great with suits and slacks. My wife and I like to ball room dance and these were my dancing shoes too.

I've purchased these shoes in the past in a smaller size that I got from the Florsheim outlet in Jefferson City, MO. I am older and retain water and my feet swell so I will have my local shoemaker stretch them. I wish you made a wider width than D in size seven.

Fit perfectly, look great. For wide feet with high arches, you can't get a better fit. Size measuring instructions from Florsheim were very helpful. I suggest having someone trace your feet on paper to get the best fit.

When I was young back in the 1960s my parents bought me Florsheim as my dress shoes, as I grew older in the late 70s, early 80s working as a restaurant manager Florsheim were the shoe of choice for comfort and style. As my career progressed and I started to work as an Executive Chef and being in kitchens for the next 25+ years I had no need for dress shoes and ended up wearing kitchen clogs, Except when my Father passed away. I needed a new suit and shoes the Men's store I was at sold Florsheim!! So of course that what I bought. Now, several years late being out of the kitchen and semi retired, I work as a purchasing director at a Hotel/Spa/Beach resort and I need to dress well. So, I looked and looked for good shoes but nothing I found felt or look as good as the shoes I remembered. Now mind you I'm older so when I buy something: I want to see it, feel it, and try it on. So after searching on line, with no luck, for a store that sold not only Florsheim but a style that I like, I went out on a limb and ordered these on line from your website. I was full of excitement waiting for them to arrive!! When they did and slipped them on I felt like I was in my 20s again!! The sizing was true, the fit was comfortable, I did not have to break them in, and after wearing them several time they get more comfortable and with the use of the shoe trees I bough with them, keep there shape. Wearing them makes me feel good, gives me a great scene of self, and all of that is multiplied when I hear "I like your shoes" "those are nice shoes"..... I can"t wait to order my next pair, I think I'll go with the penny loafers!!
