Florsheim Como Imperial Shoe Review- I have worn only Florsheim Como Imperial Shoes for the last 5 years. They are incredibly comfortable, more like wearing a slipper than a shoe. It is the only shoe I would order on-line and know that it will fit perfectly.

Glad These Shoes are Still Available - I don't know who's making these shoes since Florsheim's parent declared bankruptcy but I'm sure glad someone is and that Zappos carries them. I can't find them in Chicago retail stores.

Good Looking Shoe - Bought these for a friend of mine and he loved them. Extremely good looking shoe and they look very comfortable. Wish they would make women's shoes this comfortable.

Great looking shoe. Wearable right out of the box with no break in. Wish it had a little better arch support. Zappos rocks.

Florsheim - My husband has purchased several pairs of these shoes over the years. They are extremely well made and comfortable.

In my career as an educator, I have always taught in a building with tile-covered concrete floors. I have tried all sorts of shoes - including Hush Puppies and other brands. Since I wear a B width, I was surprised to find that this shoe was not only extremely comfortable, but that it did not slip up-and-down in the heel. Since that time, I have purchased nothing but this style of Florsheim - upgrading from the regular Florsheim to the Como Imperial when it came on the market. Indeed, I have no reason whatsoever to even consider any other brand of shoe or style. The only complaint is that they no longer offer this shoe in a saddle tan color.

super purchase - This shoe was a perfect fit! My husband has never been able to find a shoe that fits his big skinny feet. He has always had to compromise, even Nordstroms could not accomodate his size 13 AAA foot.

A Great Shoe - I have worn Imperials for years. They are comfortable, fit true to size, and retain their good looks for a very long time. They are a little expensive, but the shoe is worth it because of the way it lasts so long. I had never ordered from Zappos before. I was delighted with the service and the product. My wife and I will surely order again.

Great working shoes I have owned a pair of these fine Como Imperials for over a year. I use these shoes for everyday work. I stand on my feet for over 10 hours a day and these shoes offer so much comfort. I do have a problem with wear and tear though. The right shoe has worn out on the right side just above the heel. This is from that area of the shoe touching the car mat every time I drive and put my foot on the accelerator. I am going to see if a shoe repair shop can do something about it. Another problem is that I have not been able to find this find shoe at any of the local stores.

Five stars - I am on my fourth pair. These are well made, great looking, and reliably sized.

Comments on the Florsheim Como Imperial - I've worn Florsheims for a number of years, and I was not disappointed by this shoe. My size is 11 1/2 A, so I'm accustomed to not having a lot of choice of styles, but this was just what I was looking for. The first time I put them on, it felt like I had been wearing them for some time. The fit was perfect, and it was soft and supple. I just hope it doesn't become too loose with time.

My only dress shoe - I have worn the Como Imperial in Black and Brown for over 20 years. It is the only slip on that comes in 12AA that really fits a narrow foot. I keep two pair of each color all the time.

Fit like a glove - Great shoe, true to size, so comfortable. First time I wore them went to a wedding and danced the night away didn't even need breaking in. After wearing the first pair I had to get a second pair in another color. Truly fit like a glove.

Great Shoes - Nice pair of shoes. Soft, well constructed.

Outstanding Value - As I had mentioned in my recent memo to your company and copied to Florsheim, I have been using Florsheim shoes for more than 30 years. I have always found the quality to be excellent. The fit of these shoes is wonderful. They feel like they are already broken in the first time you wear them. Additionally, I have found the customer service at Zappos to be responsive and unparalleled in quality. I would recommend both Florsheim shoes and Zappos to anyone that I know.

Comfort, Style, Quality all found in the Florsheim Como Impe - For at least 20 years my husband has been wearing this model of Florsheim shoes exclusively. He has a difficult size to find (11 1/2B) so shopping online is a real treat. Thank you Zappos for carrying this shoe!

Class A Shoe - This shoe felt like it was made for my foot the moment I put it on, with classy looks thrown in.

I love these shoes! All my life I have struggled to find shoes that fit my very narrow feet. To make matters worse, I have what is known as "Morton's toe", which means my number 2 toe sticks out farther than my big toe. I've been told it's a sign of intelligence :-). Anyway, these shoes fit like gloves. I'm not crazy about the little label sewn into the heel cup, but I can live with that. These are the best fitting shoes I've worn in years.

Total Comfort - These are the only shoes my husband will wear. He has an extremely high arch and is on his feet at work. The leather sole is important as he is prone to fungal infections. All in all, the softness of the leather combined with length of wear make these shoes totally the best.

Comfort right out of the box... This is one of those great products that make you feel so good about paying a little extra for quality and then getting more quality than you were expecting. There was no "break-in" period for these shoes. I was able to wear them all day, right away; and when you first put them on you'll say, "Wow! I finally did something right!"

I have worn this shoe for many years as a light dress shoe. I was unable to find a local dealer for Florsheim. This left me with the internet. I was unable to find the dealer I had used before for a mail order purchase so headed for Google who had several listings for Zappos. Free shipping and return shipping are great. Order to receipt time was excellent and return to credit time for a pair received with this order but returned was also great. The shoe is as advertised as are the free shipping and return. In the last five or so years I have been unable to find another shoe that fits. Even another Florsheim the same sizes that was ordered with this and returned. Twelve or thirteen other shoes from local merchants were donated to local charities after wearing for one to five months. So I gave up on looking at other shoes until now. Red Wing made a shoe that fit fine and was much more durable, but quit making my size , which in their particular shoe was 13 AA.
