I am a long-time customer of Florsheim shoes, but that was during the period of time when they were manufactured in US factories. I've tried twice to order online only to receive below substandard shoes the first time (they were made in India) and the second time after waiting several years the shoes were nowhere near the correct size (again, the shoes were made in India). I ordered size 9 with medium width. That's my normal size. I couldn't even get them on my feet! It is my understanding that the Florsheim family has taken back ownership, but if you can't correct simple issues like this you don't deserve my busintss.
I will give you one more chance, but only from one of your brick-and-mortar stores.

Complete waste of money! Within three months the leather soles had worn through. Also the leather wicks water through to your foot. Since the shoe only has a partial length insole, your foot is left soaked and freezing in the winter. After three months I bought a pair of cheap Deer Stags because I could buy three pairs for the same price as these Florsheims and my foot would be much, much dryer.

I really enjoyed how these looked, however, I wore them for a day and the lacquer that gives them the shiny appearance began to peel off. I am incredibly disappointed. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Wanted a brown Como but they were out of stock so I ordered this. I have worn Florsheim shoes for years. Extremely frustrated that I cannot find them in stores anywhere and that I had to purchase online. The quality of your product has diminished greatly. Had I saw this shoe in a store, I never would have purchased. Sewing and matching pieces was poorly done!

These are not worth the money. I have big feet and there are few shoes in my size (15EEE). I've purchased Florsheim shoes for 30 years and have good luck with them as a rule. These came and I was immediately shocked by the shine on them. I shine my shoes regularly. However, these looked as bright as patent leather/rented plastic tuxedo shoes. With the second (no embellishment) wearing the coating (that creates the shine) is already coming off. Last time I buy Florsheim without going to store. And no, I did not send them back and request a refund as I had already worn them and scuffed the soles (which you can't do if you are going to return).

Purchased a black and brown pair that were shipped to me. The brown pair had a finish defect on the entire tongue of the shoe. Weird, as it appear some of the finish was pealing off. The black ones fit ok, however the tongue was a bit misshaped and was extremely long. Thought it wouldn't last. Returned both shoes... Soooo disappointed as the ones I tried on at a local retailer were really nice and looked perfect. I ordered online because the price was right. Now I'm out $20 for return shipping. That's what I get for being cheap! If I buy again, it'll be at a local retailer. If I have to return them at least I won't be out a return shipping fee.

WAAAY too small. I am regularly an mens 8 as measured at shoe store and previously in Florsheim shoes: oxfords and loafers. These were marked mens 8 but I could not get my foot in even with thin socks and shoe horn. This brand is going downhill.

The two shoes while marked the same size had entirely different fits. The Left was only a bit too small, but the Right I could not even get my foot in. I used a shoe horn and thin socks. I always perceived Florsheim as a quality, reputable brand, but it's been years since I purchased their product and I guess that what I knew the brand for is no longer relevant. The shoe box was beat up and taped together and most of the original packing absent (compared to same shoe in burgundy color, purchased and shipped in same order) makes me suspect that Zappos is just recycling these shoes after multiple returns.

The shoe broke within 48 hours of delivery. I had worn them for only a few hours, and only inside my office on carpeted floors, before the string attaching the tongue to the side/base of the shoe tore and unravelled. Now the shoe cannot be worn. Very poor quality and workmanship. I don't expect to be buying from Florsheims again

After receiving the product I must say that I am extremely disappointed after hearing nothing but good things about this product. I appear to be the unfortunate victim of a manufacturing defect with the pair of shoes that were delivered to me. The left shoe fits perfectly whereas the right shoe is rather uncomfortable. Once I began to truly wear them, I noticed the left shoe is much more narrow, and even the shape of top of the right shoe is more hexagonal than the left shoe. I have even noticed little details are off between the two shoes such as the decal on the insole being different. Unfortunately, I wore the shoes out one evening to try to make the best of it so I will not be able to return them according to the Florsheim return policy. The defects afflicting the right shoe make my new loafers pretty much unwearable so I honestly feel like I threw my money down the drain purchasing these shoes. I cannot recommend based on my experience with this company unless they reign in their quality control in the future.

Products are OK but your customer service and refund policy stinks. You withhold refunds for at least 10 days when any other company does an immediate credit. You are just interested in using our money as long as possible.

First off, I buy mainly Kenmoor Imperials and have been VERY happy with them. I've bought my first Berkeley. It arrived with a weird film on the leather that was peeling off. Sent it back with a $13 FedEx charge. Got the replacement pair last night. Same problem. Poor quality. Deciding if my walllet can stand the cost to return again. Makes me not want to remain loyal to Florsheim even though I eeallly love the Imperial line. Shame that they are willing to lose customers because they can't quality control merchandise and sloppily send out inferior goods when someone puts out over $100 for a pair.

When received and the shoe box was opened, BOTH shoes had very obvious/observable quality defects which should've been caught before shipping or ever put into a box. On one shoe, the leather covering was actually very noticeably peeling off the back of one heel and BOTH shoes had machine scuff marks on the "tongue" of the loafers. The shoes were never even on my feet. I must say that when I called, I was immediately sent a return label. The shoes were taken to UPS for shipping and replacement early the next morning. This is the first time I've had an issue with any Florsheim shoes...disappointing as I ordered online directly from your company! I await the, hopefully, better-inspected pair of shoes and a quicker turnaround time to receive them!!!

For many years I used to " Live" in this very comfortable shoes. I used to get it from Store on 34th street. No more Store is closed.
However, now still I can get it By Mail...good I ordered two, because I am sure of your products.
Sorry, I send them back because I could not put my foot in any of them ( Does Not Fit).
Now I have a problem where I can find the trust & comfort I used to have with Florsheim.

I have been wearing Florsheim shoes for 30-35 years and have always loved their quality and durability. This is why I have been so saddened by my recent experience. The Berkley penny-loafers that I recently ordered had some sort of film on them that started flaking off them after just the first wearing. Underneath this film was "raw" leather, which did not have the polish of regular shoes. I had never seen anything like it. I exchanged the shoes for an identical pair, hoping this was an isolated incident. The exact same thing happened on the second pair. The customer service representatives were very nice and I have been able to return the shoes for a refund. However, I am so disappointed that I am not able to continue to wear what until now had been my favorite shoe.

The shoe would not fit on my footband was the same size as a boot that i bought at the same time and the boot is a little big. Florsheim needs to size consistently.

I'm not sure if I've received a defective pair because the right shoe is significantly bigger than the left (which fits perfectly). Thank goodness for amazing customer service & easy return. They look wonderful visually.
