For any airline pilots considering these, they will set off the airport metal detectors. I bought these because the description says they have a non metal shank. Well something in there is metal.

The biggest problem I have found with this shoe over the last 2-3 years is the thread used to sew the leather to the sole does not hold up. I could get more wear out of the shoe if the thread did not deteriorate as rapidly as it does. I have even taken the shoe to a local shoe repair shop and the thread he repairs my shoe with holds up better than your thread. Big disappointemnt!!!

Although tight in the beginning, the shoes stretched a little and are now extremely comfortable. Purchased another style, same size at the same time and it is extremely tight. It is not stretching as well.

Good shoe feels a bit big, but is comfortable to wear all day, good shoe to wear on an air plane easy on and off at security.

I love the shoe and it's style but the leather soles wear out very quickly.

I returned them for a withder size on 12/28/11 and had not received them back.

Add a more wear resistant bottom to the shoes! Next make them in the USA. You must be making a ton of profit by making them in Bazil.

I have been wearing these shoes for years, every day. Always keep a black and burgundy pair on hand. Wish they came in brown. The uppers will last forever. I have the heels replaced twice a year and resoled once a year.
