I wear a 10.5 3E and Florsheim has the perfect size. The shoes are well made but when I tried them on I thought they were too small. Wore them around the house for an hour and for whatever reason they ended up fitting like a glove. If you have a wide foot and high instep, these are perfect.

The shoes are extremely comfortable once you get the right size. Took three tries to get the correct width. Bottom line, make sure you try them on before you get rid of the receipt! They have wide and extra wide, but both seem to be the same width. The first two pairs I ordered in wide and fit like a regular. I had previously ordered a burgundy pair in wide, and they fit perfectly. Naturally, I ordered a black pair in wide, also. Too narrow! I sent back thinking maybe it was a mistake and the second pair was also too narrow. When speaking to customer service, Fawn, she recommended I try the extra wide. These were very comfortable. Only problem is when I'm ready to order a new pair, not sure what size to get.

Florsheim is always a great fix and wear well. My only complaint is the shoes came scuffed and look like they were previously tried on. Unfortunately I needed them the night I received them

Very rigid and a bit uncomfortable. Maybe it will soften with use. I would prefer a composition sole as opposed to leather here in FL where it is wet so often.

Only had the shoes for about a month. They look good and other than being a little small are comfortable after they are on. Wear them about 3 times a week to work. The feel sturdy but time will tell.

I found the Berkley Penny Loafer to be a good fit and a comfortable shoe. I wasn't sure of the style at first, because they are very shiny, almost like patent leather, but after wearing them I am pleased with their look. I did have to return the first pair that was delivered because a nail started to come up through the heal after only one wearing. However, another pair was provided by Zappos and they have been fine.

I have wanted a penny loafer for years but couldn't wear them when younger and smaller. I wanted something to dress up jeans but also for kakis. The insole could be a little more cushioning but overall they are what I wanted. They were a little tight out of the box, but have loosened up with wearing. I've had another pair of florsheims for 32 years, have resoled about 4 times and still wear. It will be interesting to see how these hold up.
