Comfort ++++
Maybe not the most stylish but the most comfortable and long lasting. My pair are starting to fall apart after 5+ years of wearing to work almost every day. Surprisingly dry during snow and rain also.

fourth pair -
I have been wearing these shoes now for the past 10 years. I buy a new pair every two years. They keep my feet warm and dry in Minnesota winters and never are too warm in the summer. My Tracks have been to Machu Pichu and Bombay India, New York City and Northeast Minneapolis. A great value.

Best work shoe ever!
I assemble racing engines and am on my feet all day. I tried Wolverine work shoes and developed a heel spur and my right foot was in constant pain. By chance I purchased a pair of Trac 2's while vacationing in Vermont and was amazed by their comfort and my heel pain went away. I have been wearing the original pair for three years and exposing them to water, solvents and oils and they still look and feel like new!!

These are the best work boots I've ever owned. No break in period and they fit like a glove. I work on steel decks for 10 hours at a time and these boots are the only ones that have withstood. I will buy them again and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quality boot.

Everything I expected!
I've been told time and time again that these shoes were worth the money. I finally took their word for it and I'm not disappointed. Comfort, durability and they won't go out of style. The ultimate shoe for a man who has to wear many hats.

Well worth the money!!
I have Plantar Fasciitis, and I used to wear cheap athletic shoes with well over 300 dollar orthotics in them, and replace this set up every year. This year, however, I decided to get a quality shoe, and skip the orthotics. So far, it has worked out extremely well for me. From the people I have talked to also, it seems like these shoes can easyly last 3+ years, so it is money well invested. At first the bottoms were slippery, and I was not impressed with the fit, but after 3 days of normal wear, they are like gloves for my feet. (I am just telling you what has worked for me, I also wear night splints for my feet. Ask a doctor before you make any decisions) The look of these things are awesome too. I have the black ones, and they can be dressed up, or dressed down. A great shoe, well worth the money.

Every ecco I have seen appears to be quality, I like the Track II Low the best though

Worth the investment for your feet!
Well, I just threw away my husbands first pair of Ecco's. They were purchased 6 years ago! He is rough on shoes. The soles looked like they were melted off a couple of layers and the threads through the leather were disintegrating. I don't know if they are repairable, we plan to just buy another pair this time. He did wear some other $100 shoe for a year and they did not last nearly as long and weren't as comfortable. It is worth the investment if you are standing on your feet all day on cement surfaces. Near the end, he even began wearing them for mowing the lawn because he likes walking in them sooo much.

Great shoe!
A good shoe. 5th pair. Wish the thread used to sew the shoe was as durable as the rest of the shoe. This always goes first. A great shoe for the Montana weather

Ecco Track II Low -
Great looking and comfortable shoe, but was unable to keep because it was not wide enough. My husband wears 2E and was able to get the shoe on, said it was a great shoe but just too tight. I tried Ecco because I had heard that they ran wide. It's a good thing that Zappos is so great with returns.

Worth the $200!
I bought the brown ones to use at school, lots of concrete walking on a big campus. Wow, they were the best. I wore them 4 years and they were the most comfortable shoes, wore them in all the crap--slush, snow, ice--my feet never got wet (high sole + gore-tex). They are way better for traction on that junk than any tennis shoes, and so comfortable. I really like their look even though I wasn't so sure when I first got them. Finally the sole started breaking up, worn through, after 4 years... and I've been used to wearing out shoes once a year. I beat them up and they still looked and felt good. Twice the money but four times the wear, I'd say they're worth it. I recommend any Track II shoes, I plan on buying another pair. In the 4th year, before they wore through, I saw them in a store and became a 4 year walking advertisement :)

A wealth of comfort -
I have been wearing ECCO shoes since about 1980. In the shop they told me: is this your first pair(it was). Form now on you'll never want to wear other shoes! They were right. I have worn nearly all sorts of ECCO's. Now I have my thrid pari of Tracks. In a word: the are wonderful. Form the first dat the feel as if you have them already for a long time. I do a lot of walking and my ECCO's never fail to give me comfort.

Ecco Track Top -
I noticed a few people complaining about top of foot ache.
Since day one I started lacing my pair from the first ring set (no lace in the two eyelet)because I have verry large feet and often do this. Works for me and does add some look :p

Thirty five cents a day -
Zappos just sent me my third pair of eccos track II. I've worn, almost daily, these shoes since 1998. Zappos sent this pair in 48 hrs. I didn't request special handling or pay for it, I guess they're just trying to get another purchase out of me. I have really worked this last pair to death 18 months every day hiking, gardening, rock climbing, and they are wet a lot but have not leaked! They 've gotten scarred up bad and, I think ,because I walk 2 miles a day,the soles are wearing down. So after all is said 35 cents a day for my 60 yr old feet ain't much Thanks Zappos for great service and prices, thanks Eccos for comfort at bargain prices, (that's 17 cents a day per foot)

Great shoe -
These shoes are great walking shoes. I use them in the city, but also when I go to medical missions in Central and South America. My only concern is that the rubber soles of an old pair that I had "desintegrated" one day, but I must admit that I had them for about 4 years before that happened. Still, I got my money's worth. I love them.

What a great looking shoe. To bad as written by other reviewers top lacing-tongue really hurt the top of my feet. I almost didn't return them because I liked them so much, but they just kept hurting and didn't want these sitting in the closet not used.

I have purchased 3 pairs of the ECCO Trac II shoes in the last few years. I have to say they are very comfortable. I tend to abuse my shoes and yet these continue to look and feel great long after I purchase them. They are pricey but I feel worth it. For me these these shoes are suited for inside and/or outside work and play.

I have worn this boot for 7 years. The best shoe you could ever have. If Ecco could make all their other shoes this way, every other shoe company would go out of business. I have 3 pairs and they are great! If you stand a lot on hard floors, buy this boot; it's wonderful for all types of bad weather, too.

Ecco's Track II Low -
My first pair of Ecco's is about 3 years old. I've worn them at least once a week, sometimes twice. The upper leather and the soles are still in good condition. The only thing that wore out was the inner sole which I just replaced - the shoes feel brand new.

Loved 'em -
At first, they really hurt the tops of my feet. The pain on the tops of my feet disappeared completely after the first few times I wore them. They are a bit "rugged" looking for wearing around the office. However, they are so comfortable that I did it many times anyway. I really like the way they look in general, but they just barely pass for business casual if that is what you are looking for. They look great for casual walking, socializing, etc. and seem right at home when camping or hiking.

Love them-Don't leave them -
This shoe has a good looking, rugged appearance and is built for hiking and off-road wear. However, on my foot the lacing caused pain on the top of the foot. The laces can cinch up so tight that the top of the arch starts to ache.
The secret:
Loosen the laces all the way down each time you take them off.
When putting them back on, synch them up just less than snug.
Double tie the knot so they will stay tied.
your going to love them from now on.
