Ecco shoes - This is the second pair I have bought, after 1.5 years of everyday cement I wore through the soles. I still wear these to work around the house. The SeaWalker is the best shoe you will ever own.

Comfortable shoe for narrow foot - This is my first pair of Eccos -- I wanted a change from my usual Clark's Natureveldt. If I had it to do over again I'd probably trade these for the Clarks. The Eccos are considerably narrower across the instep and with my neuromas that isn't a good thing. The width of both was Medium, but the forefoot of the Clarks is hugely wider. I have narrow feet, so the narrow heels of the Eccos are a plus, but I need lots of room for my forefoot to splay, otherwise the inflamed nerves there get pinched and hurt. On the plus side the SeaWalkers' insoles have a bit of a transverse ridge in front of the ball of the foot, which encourages splaying. I've replaced the Ecco insoles with my custom orthotics, which have a more pronounced ridge, but it was cool to see that the Ecco folks "understand" that the ridge can be important for comfort. I can see that there are going to be problems with the stitching around the vamp. I never had any structural problems with the Clarks shoes, but after just a couple weeks it's clear that the stitching on the SeaWalkers is going to wear out soon. In the end, I'll feel good about the Eccos if their leather lining doesn't wear through after a year, the way the lining in both my previous pairs of Natureveldts did (in several places).

Best shoe ever!!! I'm on my second pair. The first pair, bought almost three years ago and worn five days a week, every week, looks like new. It's worn down a little bit in the heels, but otherwise looks superb and fits even better than when I first wore them.

Great Shoes! I recently was diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis and having good shoes is important. These shoes are comfortable and durable. They could make improvements by making wide sizes. There also appears to be a short break in period as this is my second purchase of these shoes.

Great shoe. Usually when I buy shoe it takes time to break it. This shoe is definitely the most comfortable shoe I ever bought.

Superb shoe!!! This shoe is one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. It is light weight, well constructed, and provides excellent support. Please note this shoe is true to size - I wear a size 12 and the shoe is just that. It isn't any larger! If you like more room, order the next size.

Still the best!!!!! Still the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. This is my 2nd pair in four years, the first pair was still in great condition 'till stupid me sunk up to my knees in a clay swamp. More comfortable than any sneaker I've ever owened, and made to last a very long time. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

My First Ecco - Bought an Ecco on advice from my foot doctor. Would appear that it needs a brief "breaking in" period, but feels better every time I wear them. So far, very well satisfied.

Shoes from Heaven - As soon as I put them on, they felt wonderful. I wore them with no breaking in period. I am ordering a black pair ASAP.

Great Beach Walker - The shoe sizes follows Euro standards. In a classic American Shoe like Allen Edmunds dress shoes, I wear a 12. I find that a Euro 47 fits me perfectly. These shoes are amazingly comfortable and the soles shed sand readily and the leather tops are water resistant. I walk my dog every morning, rain or shine, and these shoes are perfect for that.

This shoe was just what I was looking for. I spend a lot of time on my feet and most shoes are not comfortable after 8 hrs but this shoe never let me down. I was disappointed with the stitching however; it began to come apart in one spot after only one day of wear.

Comfort and durability - This is my second pair of these shoes. The first ones lasted years and years (I can't remember when I bought them). They're the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. And they look the same now as when I bought them. The new pair is just the same.

The Sea Walker is an excellent choice. I have a narrow heel, but the front of my foot is wide. Usually, if the width is right for the front of my foot, the heel is pretty sloppy. Ecco shoes accommodate my feet extremely well. The Sea Walker is very comfortable, well-made, and looks great. The sole could be a little thicker for better shock absorption, but it's still a terrific shoe. I will be ordering a second pair.

Great Shoe for Foot problems - After spending several hundred dollars on a podiatrist for foot problems, I discovered ECCO shoes. All of my foot problems disappeared within six months. This is a great shoe, extremely comfortable. I wish I had listened to my girlfriend earlier.....

Great long lasting shoe - My old pair of SeaWalker Ties finally gave out after about 4 years -- I noticed the soles starting to wear through, so ordered the second pair. They don't have the dress shoes' heels, but no dress shoe I’ve tried touches SeaWalker’s durability.

Outstanding - Exactly what I was expecting -- a perfect, comfortable work shoe for a casual environment.

Comfort shoes - I bought these shoes for my husband. He loves them. They are comfortable, the shoes come in wide, and great for walking.

Excellent shoe - I have a very wide foot, and have found Eccos to be excellent in this regard. It takes about two wearings to break the shoe in fully, and then it is amazingly comfortable and so far appears very durable.

Ecco SeaWalker - This is an exceptionally comfortable shoe for my feet. It is light but yet provides reasonable support. My previous Seawalker is still working well for me after many miles. Overall this is my favorite casual shoe.

I ordered these shoes for my skeptical husband. He was amazed that they arrived so fast. He put them on as soon as they arrived and wore them the full day at work with no complaints! He says they feel great. Zappos' Service is great!

SeaWalkers rule - Excellent construction and appearance. Gave comfort "only" four stars because they don't have quite as much arch support as Cross models, but that may be irrelevant to many. They slip by as "dress" shoes on demand. The sole is very good in the wet, better than Cross's. Guess I'll be building my Ecco collection.

Ideal. I bought these shoes (brown suede) at least 3 years ago, and they don't even seem to be giving out (I've worn them about half the time). They have been everywhere from walking on Sahara sand to sitting in a foot of water in NYC, and I'm convinced that they are indestructible. I'm posting this to let people know they should buy a few spare shoelaces in advance (I'm on my third pair of laces now), because the shoes will last much longer than the laces.

My second pair of these - The new pair was just as comfortable right out of the box as my 3 year old pair.
