I found these shoes to be well made, except that the canvas inner (white) was not stitched evenly to the canvas outer (black), so there were white stripes going down the edges between the eyelets on one shoe. I used a black sharpie to get rid of them. A good black on black shoe, but of course not designed for superior comfort.

I love it! If you're thinking of buying a Converse...please don't, buy this one instead. because it looks the same and this one is much much more comfortable than Converse. Don't judge me. I also love Converse but I love this much more. It looks so good. It also felt true to its size and width. My papa even approves that it looks so good. And I'm a petite teenager 90lbs, 5'1 in height and it fits me perfectly Also the shipping is on its exact date so big thumbs up to Zappos!

Timeless classics. The heel takes a little to break in but great shoes. Also, couldn't be happier with Zappos service.

I ordered a 10.5 and size was exact for my other 10.5 shoes. Very minimal arch support, but these are made this way so I'm not gonna knock them down for not having any. Style looks good, great grip, and comfort!

These shoes are awesome! They are comfortable right out of the box. I was a little hesitant because a few of the reviews said there was not much arch support (the reason I can't wear Chucks). But these have just enough support and my feet seemed to mold into them after just a few days. The sizing was perfect for my feet. I wear a standard 9 in most shoes and the 9 in these fit just right. I highly recommend these for everyday shoes. Great price and as always, unbeatable service and next day delivery from Zappos.

My son is a Vans man. We just bought these and they look fantastic. The shoes have been very comfortable. My son gives them a thumbs up!

This is my first pair of Old Skools and I love them. The day they came in, I wore them that night. They are really comfortable but being Vans you should not expect them to have great arch support. Other than that, my black and whites go with everything.

These require a little bit of time (two or three days) of breaking in but after the break in they are incredible comfortable! All the black goes with all of my clothes.

Who hasn't owned a pair. These are classics. Not a walking shoe. I wear these for mountain biking and I love them.

Vans has been there since the beginning of skateboarding and out of all their shoes the Old Skool is simply the best. You can skate street or tranny with these and beat the hell out of 'em and they last just fine. I've been skating since I was ten years old and most of the time I've always stuck with vans. The board feel and grip is unsurpassed. I've had probably close to 20 pairs of these and the "Made in China" ones always seem to be much better quality than the "Made in Vietnam" ones. So look out for that.

Delivery poor - threw box in driveway instead of placing on front porch. Otherwise shoes are great.

These are nice looking shoes with solid construction. They were hard on my heels until they were broke in; but that took less than a week. Now they are comfortable and have become my go to shoes for daily life.

I went to my local Vans store to pick up a pair of my favorite style Old School black/pewter Vans only to find out they were discontinued! I went to the Vans website and found them, but of course they did not have size 10. I found them here on Zappos for a great price, in my size and they arrived in four days! Thank you, Zappos! You guys rock!

These shoes were too small all around. My feet felt scrunched. I think a half size larger than my normal shoe size would have been perfect. The style was great and looked really good.

These are classic shoes that are comfortable and made with quality construction. There is very little built-in arch support, so I normally add my own arch support inserts. Otherwise they are awesome shoes at a reasonable price.

These are great! We ordered them in a size 16 and they actually dont long huge! Very nice looking shoes, comfortable too!

I moved to Idaho in 1999 after retiring from California. The first thing I purchased after being here for about a week at a retailer in the mall was a pair of black and white Van's shoes which I am still wearing today. I went on line to see if I could find the same shoe, but could not. I will continue to search because it will break my heart to have to stop wearing them.

I really like the design, which is understated and simple. So many shoes anymore look like a Vegas nightclub. The fit is snug - can't easily slip-on/slip-off without unlacing - but sizing feels true.

I'd just like to say, 40 year old women rock the Old Skool Vans! I played it smooth waiting for my sneakers, but really I was a kid inside all screaming and excited about my new sneaks! They do cause blisters, but before they could rub too much, I added a back pad, blister guard where the hard canvas back meets the top portion of the shoe. These sneaks are great! I love em! They are better than the Converse I grew up wearing, I am so happy! Converse runs narrow, this shoe has room for my toes. I'm a very happy woman!

My son loves these shoes. They're very comfortable and he wears them all the time. He also likes the styling. He's 13 so they won't last but so long, but so far they have held up well.

What can I say? I've been wearing these for more than 25 years! It hasn't changed one bit. One of my favorite go to's!

I bought these sneakers for my daughter as a gift. She said that they were comfortable and true to size. She was very pleased with their style which is a classic skate sneaker.
