I don't think vans have much in the way of arch support, but they seem to wear well and last for quite a while.

Great classic sneaker, attractive profile, comfortable right out of the box. Bought an 11.5 (my usual size for athletic shoes). Same comfortable fit as the Authentic with a good amount of room in case you have slightly wider than average feet. Left the top pair of eyelets unlaced for ankle comfort.
