Replacement - I replaced a 1yr old White pair with the Black/Black style. I'm thinking that the Black/Black will not show dirt like the old pair. For a real off the wall look I wear them with white socks. I am really pleased with the fit of the new shoes. I did not realize that my old shoes had grown sloppy with age.

Fantastic shoes and ever better service. I am very delighted to have purchased these shoes from Zappos. The Vans Authentic have always been a great shoe and I decided to get my first pair yesterday. I used to wear Converse All-Star all the time, but I've made the smart switch now. Converse shoes usually only last about a year for me anyways. They fit great, look great, and are well-priced. Although they're not as comfortable as other sneakers, they are a classic. I ordered these at 5 p.m. and had them delivered to my door at 1:30 p.m. the next day. If that's not GREAT service, I don't know what is.

Butter, brah! Perfect for chillin, looks great, and gives you an old school look. Wouldn’t recommend wearing them as your everyday shoe, but overall, they’re a very comfortable, stylish shoe! Get more then one color!

The best lay back shoe in the world - I have used this brand all my life. At lease for me there is nothing better. I might be wrong by not use a different brand, but I just like the way they look!!!

Awesome Shoes - I purchased these shoes for my daughter and she absolutely loves them. All her friends have asked where they too can get a pair. We have referred then to your online service which too is amazing. As much as my daughter loves your product line I'm sure we will be ordering on line many more times in the future. You guys rock!!

Versital - The vans authentic shoes are super sweet because you can wear them with just about anything, they look good, feel comfortable and most importantly of all the all black ones look super tough when your rocking on stage ; ) Thanks Zappos.

This is a great shoe, with a great "old school" look - These shoes are true to size, but will stretch a little bit since they are canvas, so just keep that in mind.

I love my Vans! My Vans rock! They fit great, they look great, and they are super comfortable.

Great shoe - I have to say I bought this shoe for my husband. I was a little weird on buying something over the internet; I have to say I WOULD HIGHLY recommend it, the service was great soo great that I ordered it thinking I wouldn't get it for weeks and it came two days later. Although my husband did have to sign for it, he found out but GREAT, GREAT Service I will def be buying more from Zappos!!!!

Overall great shoe - If you are buying these, you most likely know Vans pretty well. These will stretch a bit, being canvas , so take that into account. They fit well and are quite comfortable; a good classic shoe for those of us that need to look a little more adult, but still enjoy the feel and look of this 'skater shoe'.

Van's Authentic Core Classics - As usual, Zappos pulled through for me. I just love how fast I received these Van's shoes. My brother is very hard to fit. He is a size 14. I can always count on Zappos to have his size in the great quality I have known and trusted for years. Thanks Zappos!

Awesome - I love these shoes. They are comfortable and stylish. They also keep your foot somewhat cool. Not like some shoes that make your feet sweaty.

Love it - I purchased these along with a brown pair around 4pm and they were both here the very next morning. Impressive. Great shoes, comfortable, and go with almost anything. Definitely true to size.

I thought they would look cool...and they do. I read that they run half a size smaller, so i got 10.5 instead of the usual size 10 and they fit perfect. If you have an arch, it will be hard to get used to these since they hardly have any arch support. It took me about 2 weeks to get used to them.

Great - This shoe I bought for work. The black on black ones. I’m the type of guy who can’t wear dress shoes. So if you ask me if these are great in a retail environment, they truly are. Love the way they feel. Easy to put on. Everything is made so simple.

My daughter loves these! My sixteen year old daughter has found her new favorite shoes. She went from the bulky skater shoes to these - which I believe look better with her clothes. I used to love my vans, back in the 80's. They are comfortable and durable and come in lots of colors. We'll buy again.

Lovely - I bought the black on black ones and I must say that they have treated me well so far. Very comfortable and well-fitting, they stress the top of my foot a little bit but I have weird feet so maybe that’s my fault. I am super happy with these and they go with just about anything. They also do really well in the rain almost like they are water resistant in my opinion.

Perfect - If you’re looking for a low key shoe that looks great no matter what you wear, this is it. Kind of hurt when actually skating, but a good chilling shoe.
