Classic Summer shoe. Being white, they get dirty pretty easily but they're inexpensive enough where I end up ordering at least 2 pairs during the warm weather months. The quality of Vans can be hit or miss though. This last time I ordered, the canvas bottom of the foot bed ripped off on a hot day.

These are great shoes. As everyone's feet are different, it would be crazy to think that one review could apply to every shoe and every foot but as for me I always liked the look and feel of Vans and these are classic. It took a week or so to break them in and one of my feet hurt a bit on the top but that passed and now they are comfortable. I immediatly put in some Dr. Scholls but I do that for all of my shoes.

I've literally been wearing this style, size, and color-combo for years. This is the only non-dress shoe that I will wear, and will probably continue this trend for many years to come (barring a move by Vans to North Korea or some other illegitimate state). Zappos has never failed to deliver "hella prompt", so why would anyone buy from a chain store in the mall and pay taxes?!?! Unless you support the calamity that is your state's budget department, I urge you to buy from Zappos. The ONE problem that I have with these, however, is that if you do a LOT of squatting (at your low-level locker, or to pet a lot of dogs/cats/small mammals in general) there is noticeable discoloration at the stress line, and after about 7 months that section will start to semi-separate from the sidewalls. It's not a huge deal, but if you're a stickler for presentation, you will find yourself buying a new pair before every semester/after every summer (or whatever period you use to break up your calendar- fiscal year, perhaps?). If you're simply a weekend warrior, you'll get at least 2 years out of these shoes... as long as you stay out of the pit and at the bar (or wherever you can see the band while NOT getting moshed into).

Nice, classic tennis shoe -- I need room for my superfeet insoles (plantar fascia issues) and these had it. I went just a half size up from my regular shoe size and these worked beautifully. More room than the Sperry versions. Love them.

Love the shoes. I wear a 10 in Nike and 11.5 in Vans. Common complaint is that many people get blisters on their pinky toe. That's why you gotta go 1 whole size bigger.

What's not to like about a classic pair of Vans? Love them. Laces are a little too long and feel pretty cheap. All in all, a great pair of kicks.

At first, the backs of these shoes dug into my Achilles and blistered them to pieces. But now I can't get enough! Unfortunately dumped a ton of salsa on them at a Mexican restaurant a few days after purchase. I don't recommend that, don't think it's popular to have a salsa stain on your shoes anywhere in the world right now.

The product is exactly what I expected. Shipping was efficient...I don't even know how you make that happen. Wonderful product and great service!

These were for my son. Fit was consistent with previous Vans shoes. They look great and quality seems to be good. Can't speak to overall wear because we just bought them.

Best shoes ever. I've been wearing Vans exclusively for over 10 years now. Moved from old school lowers to eras to these. Growing up. The most comfortable, most versatile shoes on the planet.

I live in these shoes now! They rubbed my heels a little for a day or two, but are so comfortable! (Especially compared to Converse.) I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Ordered for my husband as a gift, fit perfect and looks great! He says they are as comfortable as any Vans shoes he has ever had. Has been wearing them almost every day for 6 months now and are holding up very well.

Exactly as described. Nice product, reasonably priced. I just wish a wider model was available. As usual, Zappos did a fabulous job, service second to none.

I'm a girl in high school and bought these in off white for myself. I recommend these shoes. They are simple, in style and anyone can wear them.

You can't go wrong with classic Vans. Great for casual wear and also a more reasonably priced alternative to some more expensive boat shoes.

I have a really difficult time with sneaker, they always hurt my feet. On a recent trip to Europe I noticed so many people wearing Converse. But I hate the style, so after seeing the reviews here I tried the Vans - love them! I've worn them every day since they arrived. Signing on again to order more and look at the brands line, really great!

I bought these instead of the Lo Pro and I'm glad I did! I really like the look and feel of this shoe. A lot more comfort than I was expecting for a skate-styled shoe. I highly recommend this product!

Actually I have to say that Van's are the only sneakers that I can hike for miles in, with no socks, much to my husband's chagrin. I love Van's. I wear them almost every day and I'm a 53 year old woman. I love this sneaker, it makes me feel like I'm sixteen again. And not much makes me feel that young these days! This shoe is awesome, simple, easy, and a bargain!

I absolutely love these shoes! Super comfy and they add just the right amount of pop to any outfit! I have always been a big Vans fan, and these shoes did not disappoint!

I love my vans! as with all the classics, these are very comfy; size is pretty true, maybe a touch generous and this red is to the blue side of the spectrum, not the yellow, so it doesn't have an orangey look, more true red. This my third different pair!

Vans is a pretty great shoe for skate boarding in my opinion. They have very good soles for ollieing higher, and better bord feel. Although they have horrible material that rips easily.
