The shoes arrived very quickly as usual with Zappo's My son wore them straight out of the box, totally comfortable. It seem that Vans for both my sons ( age 12 ) always work well. They have been wearing them for years

Classic shoes. I always keep a pair of these in my lineup. Only downside is not much cushion or support. Add some insoles and you're good to go.

I just bought replacements of these Vans and love em! I wear women's 9 and the men's 8 fits like a glove. I will continue buying these!

A good classic!

Needed summer "church" shoes for my middle school son who is very picky and doesn't like to dress up (shocking, right?!). These make us both happy: he thinks they are very cool, and I am happy they are a step up from athletic shoes and soccer slides for when he does actually need to dress a little more nicely!

Old standby. Comfortable fit, firm sole, easy bend. Great for every occassion. And Zappos shipping is the best.

I always loved converse, but the uber hard sole and semi-narrow foot bed made converse near impossible. They would give me massive blisters on my pinky toes and I'd get foot cramps after about 2 hours. Vans were the upgraded version I had always hoped for - just wide enough that my foot fits comfortably without blistering (I have a semi wide toe box and the rest of my foot is narrow). They have much more support than traditional converse. These were comfortable almost immediately. So glad I took a chance - I think I'll be buying vans from now on!

I love these. Perfect spring/summer shoes. I'm usually an 8.5 but in Vans I tend to be a 9. I got these in a 9 and they fit perfectly with and without socks.

I've been buying Vans since I was 15, and this is my staple pair. The off white is perfect, and you don't feel so bad when they get dirty. I always forget that Vans run a bit large, so it is something to keep in mind. I've washed them once already and they managed to not feel weird afterward, which is always a plus.

These are an absolute classic. Living in southern California, these pair well with any kind of pants or shorts. There is not a whole lot of support, so you may want to get the Pro versions if your feet need that. Go true to size and you'll have a good time.
