I’m a bigger guy, and for some reason these shoes are more comfortable than any athletic shoes I’ve owned. No, they’re not the softest surface to walk on, but I can where these all day. All of those other shoes with the arches and angled cushion, I can’t wait to take those off. But these Vans stay on my feet and they are not complaining.

I have flat fees. It’s is nice that vans has a shoe liner that gives you some arch support. The only other thing with vans is that they are still a heavy, durable shoe.

For years I wore Vans in size 7, but I really needed 7 1/2 (my foot got a little bigger over the years). Now that I am a true size 7 1/2, the 7s are just a tad short on me. I'm so happy that Vans come in half sizes! They fit perfectly and there's even a little breathing room for thicker socks if I want to wear them. This particular blue that they call 'Navy' is really more of a denim blue color, which is perfect for me! For many years I have wanted a good pair of blue shoes that work in the same color palette as denim jeans, and these fit the bill! If you are looking for true navy blue, Vans does offer it, and it is called Navy just like these lighter pair. You will find both shades here on Zappos. You'll get the color that is pictured, so make sure you got the right color navy before buying!
